Had a 20+ metre tall Ash tree starting to suffer from Ash dieback. Tree was located in a tight corner of garden with outbuildings, cob wall and wooden fence, belonging to us or to neighbours, all situated under the tree and potentially liable to be damaged by its removal. All branches and tree trunk segments were carefully cut and lowered to the ground by rope. No damage caused to any of the structures. Debris cleared, shredded and removed from site. Excellent job done by BRW and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I used Ben's services to clear an area of overgrown trees of substantial height (up to 20metres). The work was carried out in a timely fashion and Ben communicated well throughout the process. I am thoroughly satisfied with the result and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to other people.

BRW carried out a difficult job in a difficult area professionally and to a high standard. We would use them again.
Ben and his team were very professional and came at short notice following storm damage. I would use again and I highly recommend them for any tree concerns.
You can expect Ben and his team to pay absolutely no attention to the surrounding structures of the work that is being carried out. He was cutting a tree for my next door neighbour and despite clearly being able to see we had a car on our drive right next to the tree, did not have the courtesy to knock on the door and see if we could move it during the tree work. Due to their carelessness, a falling log landed on the car and caused damage - this was caught on CCTV. After emailing, Ben admitted fault and initially agreed to settle an amount to repair the damage - however never followed through on this. We are now a month down the line and are commencing small claims court proceedings as well as letting the public know the lack of courtesy, professionalism and underhand manner in which BRW Tree Specialists operate. Edit 06/01/25 I was actually going to delete this review if you did end up paying the money agreed however your response has irritated me. 1. You had no idea at the time whether or not the car was road legal. You saw the car there and didn’t even ask if it could be moved. 2. We have a drive to fit 3 cars. Whilst it couldn’t have been moved onto the road, it COULD have been moved elsewhere on the drive. 3. You agreed to pay within a short amount of time yes, however your story about so called “fraud” does not add up. (A) You sent no confirmation email to say the money had supposedly been sent and to ask if we had received it (B) Even if your story is true, your emails were still working I assume? You were emailed a number of times within that 1 month period to ask for an update - not a single response was received so I don’t believe for a second what you’re saying as it was only MYSTERIOUSLY the day after I left this initial review that the money was magically paid! Coincidence? I think not! We have since spoken to other customers of yours you have ghosted when a problem arises so take that as you will… Like I say, I was prepared to remove this review and cease the court proceedings once the money was paid but your response is full of such nonsense excuses it actually backs up my initial thoughts.

Call him out for an old oak fallen over our access came in half hour cracked on got it done in no time for a more than reasonable price place was tidy after too what more can you ask for! Won't use anybody else from now that's for sure!
Ben and his team came in last minute to help me with an extremely poor experience i had received from another local tree specialist. I did the usual thing, check googles top rated and they were all pretty useless or just gave me lip service. I had no idea about how to go about having any work carried out on the protected oak trees in my garden and these guys are first class! Everything was explained to me so i could understand and they got in so quickly to carry out the work. In addition to the work Ben also noticed that one of the tree's wasnt looking very healthy and went above and beyond to ensure that we had what was a very dangerous and diseased oak tree removed promptly and without any delays. The entire team are polite, friendly and left my property in a clean and tidy state. In my opinion you wont find a better service i will 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for any type of tree work.

Ben and his colleague did a great job of removing a dead tree and topping out all my trees that form a hedge. They removed all the waste and left my garden neat and tidy. I am very happy to recommend this company.
We had hardly any light in our lounge and thought as we had a tree preservation order we were stuck. We need not have worried. Ben took all the stress out of the situation, applied for the necessary permission from the council, kept us updated throughout then on permission being granted, organised a time to complete, turned up on time and did a superb job. Transformed our lounge, absolutely delighted, wouldn't hasten to recommend.
