We have two big Beech trees and a very large Pine tree all with TPO's. Initially we had a full formal survey conducted by Bill Kent on each tree and received a detailed written report. After consultation we decide upon some recommended work which required planning agreement. Following receipt of the approval, all done by WJK, we arranged for WJK to conduct the work in two phases at the best times for the tees health. I can honestly say it was a joy working with WJK, its very clear that Bill [owner] is highly qualified and knows his trees, we followed his advice in all regards. We had the Pine tree worked on a couple of months ago and the Beech trees this week, Phil [team boss] and his guys conducted the work on both occasions, they are fantastic; communications, politeness, workmanship and final clear up all excellent, particularly when the trees spread over the gardens of five other houses there were NO complaints! Support from the back up office is first class. Having worked with many and varying contractors over 40 years of business, I can definitely say these guys are right at the top in their trade, Phil is a great bloke, THE Tom Cruise of trees!! I've seen Kent Tree Surgeons vehicles around the area and was introduced to them by my neighbour who had used them to take out an enormous tree from the front of his property right on his drive. He was really happy with their work. They quoted for the removal of 3 Cyprus trees from the end of my garden partially damaged by a fire. These trees were growing towards and some over neighbours property. I was amazed that within 4 hours the trees had been completely removed and the site cleared, probably to better than when they arrived. They also cleared up the route taken through the garden to their truck on my drive. Would wholly recommend, professional and very friendly.

I am totally delighted with the work of the team and the whole set-up. Kellie in the office is efficient, friendly, helpful and reliable, and Phil and his team of workers carrying out the various garden jobs are orderly, polite, accomplished, quick, hard-working, friendly trustworthy and reliable. They leave everything neat and tidy and seem to only want to meet the client's need and do a really excellent job. Phil is particularly knowledgeable, skilled, patient and understanding and spends great care and time offering advice and helpful suggestions. He always seems to find solutions to every issue as a result of his vast experience. I have had him and his team several times over the years undertaking both very large and much smaller jobs (including pruning a giant protected beech tree , fitting a Cobra brace , removing large branches, trimming enormous hedges and tidying smaller shrubs and bushes). Incredible team. Brilliant pruning of trees, very large and small, very tall and short. All branches and v large trunks put through a grinder on site and hardly a twig or leaf left anywhere in the plot after tidying up. Outbuildings and main house all handled with real care. I whole-heartedly recommend WJ Kent. Very knowledgeable and everyone in the business comes across as very friendly. In a word, superb.

I had my trees cut by WJ Kent last week. I got 4 quotes before choosing them. The team that showed up were fab. One man in particular was extremely friendly, helpful and informative, sadly I cannot recall his name. They cleared up thoroughly afterwards and my garden looks so open and bright now. For several years we have used WJ Kent to pollard and trim trees and laurel bushes in our garden, and cannot fault their service. They came round promptly to provide a quote, and on the day of the work Ewan, Tom and Aaron were friendly and efficient. They cleared up everything, leaving the garden neater than it had been before they arrived! We would unhesitatingly recommend them.
