I contacted Sam as our Horse Chestnut tree (approx 60ft) was in a bad way. Sam and his team have done work for us before so I felt that I could trust him to come and assess the situation. The tree is covered by a TPO with WCC. Sam visited site quickly to ascertain the situation. Sadly he confirmed that, as we feared, the tree was dead. He quoted for works and as soon as gave the go ahead submitted the planning application to WCC on our behalf. Once permission was granted Sam contacted me immediately and set about planning the felling. I was understandably nervous about a diseased tree so close to the house and he was aware I wanted it down as soon as possible. This operation would included several team members and a 37 ton crane, tractor, trailer, chipper as well as their usual smaller vans. On the day of the work the team arrived early and the equipment was maneuvered, organised and set up in a very tricky site with only one small entrance. Despite the temperature being mid 30's the whole team worked incredibly hard in a professional and efficient manner. The actual felling of the tree was quite a sight but the team were in fantastic control of the operation at all times. There was staggering amounts of debris as you would imagine but the entire site was cleared so well that I think it was clearer than when they started. Several neighbours have commented on what a great job they did and were impressed how they managed with the small working area and the ridiculous heat. I cannot recommend Sam and the team highly enough.

Sam and his team removed two very large fir trees in our front garden. Sam turned up when he said he would and then completed the job exactly when and how agreed, leaving the site very tidy, and were very considerate to our neighbours too. We recently had Arb Elite Tree Care out to work on our Goat Willow and Bay tree, and the results are incredible. The Goat Willow has been heavily reduced with great care, and the Bay tree beautifully reduced, tidied, and shaped. At the time of quoting, Sam took the time to thoroughly check the trees for bird nests, which he did find. The work was then postponed until the fledglings had safely left, something that really shows how much they care, not just about the trees but also about the wildlife in them. The final results are stunning, and they left the garden spotless, removing every last bit of cuttings. We couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend Arb Elite Tree Care to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring team
After successfully receiving planning consent to remove a very short oak tree with a dense low canopy Sam came recommended by a friend and his quote was most favourable of three so work was scheduled for 31/7. The team arrived promptly on time and carried out the work respectfully of the neighbouring houses, liaising with the neighbour most affected and making sure everyone was kept in the loop with the fell as it progressed. In all the job was complete in under eight hours. I chose to keep the oak and the guys logged it for me and left the garden tidy and the drive, both mine and neighbouring, spotless. The tree had pushed out my boundary fences so Sam returned the following day with some of the guys to make it good until I can put a permanent solution in place. Used for the last couple of years now to keep a mimosa tree and some conifers in check. We have use Arb Elite for the past 6 years and can highly recommend Sam and his team. Arrive on time every time. Not only a font of knowledge on your tree's and plants, but hard working and immaculately tidy workers. Todays job is 26 Tree's and two perimeter hedges. Everything is shredded on site and taken away for proper disposal. Arb Elite offer a great service and no need to consider anybody else.

Sam and his team tackled an extremely difficult removal of a large sycamore from our garden. The logistics of it were incredibly difficult and involved not only our garden but that of two neighbours. Sam and his team kept all parties fully involved and informed, before, during and after the process to make sure that we were all happy and completely understood the entire process of the work which was being carried out and any concerns discussed very patiently and plans changed if needed. Through the days of the work the team onsite were professional, helpful and friendly and couldn't have done more to make a big job as straightforward as possible for all involved. The job was completed very successfully and efficiently. We absolutely couldn't recommend Sam and his team highly enough.

Sam & his team have recently trimmed and reshaped an out of control eucalyptus which now looks as it should, regaining it's place in my garden and reshaped my Phileostegia Viburniodes being to high for me to reach, again shaped beautifully. Previous work included careful trimming of Phillyrea Latifolia, so it looks like clouds and pruning other trees to control height. I would not hesitate in recommending Arb Elite, professional expertise, very clean & tidy, turn up on time and very friendly.

Sam and his team have cut back and shaped our hedge twice in the last 2 years. The hedge was huge when we moved in, and was in danger of damaging the fence, and taking over the garden. Arb pragmatically came up with a plan which got the hedge under control, while still keeping enough foliage to keep our privacy during the process. They also removed some random trees that were growing within the hedge. The result each time has been fantastic, even the neighbours have said how nice it looks. Sam has been great to deal with, communication has been prompt and clear, and the quotes competitive. We couldn't be happier with the work and recommend this company with no hesitation. Thank you.
Sam and his team did a superb job of felling a large silver birch and reducing the height and trimming 140 ft of western red cedar hedge. Their work is more professional than companies I have used previously, they left the garden tidier than before they started. Brilliant guys. Work hard and clear everything up to leave all paths and flower beds tidy. My hedges look great and they pruned a couple of trees too. The cherry tree that Sam pruned last year has grown back beautifully. Sam is very knowledgeable about all trees. I used them last year & will be using them again next.

An excellent job and a great team. Thoroughly recommended. Four fully grown oak and and sycamore trees under TPOs carefully thinned and crown lifted, maintaining their shape with every cut being carefully guided. The Borough arborist knows these trees very well and was as impressed with the result as we were. Importantly, Sam has his own hydraulic platform which helps too. Three other trees felled and stumps ground out efficiently. Everything left clean and tidy. Well done Sam and the team. Very pleased.

Sam was knowledgeable, and really helpful and prompt with his quote. Tom who came to do the work was excellent, again really helpful - the end result of the tree work in my garden was done perfectly with no mess left afterwards. I would certainly recommend.

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My journey with Arb Elite started when the strong winds had hit a few weeks back and I was worried about the large tree in my back garden falling on our house. I knew Arb Elite were local and had heard how fantastic they were! I contacted Sam who got back to me so quickly (within 24 hours) who arrange to come over for a consultation. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so many options of what we could do. From trimming the tree, to cutting it down completely. He could even remove the roots too. We opted for cutting the tree down and turning the stump into a chair which Sam was more than happy to do. The communication with Sam was excellent. After he had gone, my partner and I decided we would like another tree to be taken down in our garden. I messaged Sam about the second tree and he added this to our quote, nothing was too much trouble. He even contacted the council for me, free of charge, to check that there wasn't any protection on our tree. On the agreed date, Sam and his team arrived very promptly. I had been up through the night with my 3 month old daughter so wasn't ready when I should have been. The whole team were completely understanding, even when I had to move my car out the way in my PJs. They came through the back and had a look at both trees that we decided to get rid of and answered any questions that I had, no matter how silly they were! The team worked so quickly, efficiently, professionally and to such a high standard. We had 4 guys within the team who worked really well together and complimented each other, which was lovely to see. It seemed as though they all had their specialist areas. The smaller tree was gone within half an hour. All of the guys were so friendly, talking to me about my daughter and they even got a few smiles out of her! The whole job took around 4 hours to complete, which included the team moving everything in my garden safely out of the way and putting it all back again, taking all of the wood with them, sweeping, leaf blowing and completely cleaning up after themselves. I honestly thought it would take all day and was so suprised at the high quality of work in such little time. My garden looks so much bigger now and there is so much more light coming into our house. Our chair looks amazing, so rustic looking. We are very happy! After another blowy night last night, I am so pleased the tree has gone. I don't normally write reviews but I couldn't thank Arb Elite enough. I will 100% be recommending them.
