Excellent service but very poor logs. Yes hardwood but over 40% were under 5 inches long, impossible to stack and will burn much too quickly.

Great team under the leadership of Max. Very knowledgeable and professional. Did a great job in cutting a large tree and some shrubs. Attaching the before and after and you can decide for yourself the great work they did for me (** their quote was the best out of 8 quotes that I received for this work). Highly recommended.

Max and his team did a great job for a fair price, trimming and removing trees so that our garden gained more sky and sunshine. They were hardworking, punctual, tidy, polite and respectful, with no swearing, shouting or music playing, which is unfortunately the case with some other workmen. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Max again and wish him every success with his company.

Max came out on a very wet day and within 2 hours of initially calling him. Gave his expert advice and opinion, and although couldn’t do the job, due to the tree being on council highway, Max gave me the contact of the councils approved contractor to carry out a pollard. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Max for any future work at my property.

I was after a tree surgeon to remove a couple of stumps from my garden. As per the reviews, Max came who was lovely to do a site survey and provide a quote. Initial communication with Kacee was great and appointment booked. The person who turned up brought the wrong machine and could not do the job last Friday. Said that someone would be in touch. There has been no follow-up from Clear Cut to tell me when this can be done. I've sent an email 3 days ago and had no reply. Called numerous times and not got through, have tried WhatsApp to see if that helps and nothing. I have ground workers waiting to get on with the job but this has held me up. If they can't do the job now the fair enough I get circumstances change. But at least have the courtesy to get in touch and let me know what happened and the options now available. After reading the 5* reviews I was confident this would be done well. Max was lovely but unfortunately, my experience since Maxes survery with no communication has been anything but 5*.

Called Clearcut to sort out a problem tree that has grew out of control and was looking like it was going to affect the foundations of my house. Even with difficult access and the close proximity to my property, Max removed everything including the stump with no damage or mess. Absolutely amazed at the professionalism of this company compared to previous experience. Can't recommend enough.
