Bizarre experience when trying to talk to the company. I called their number and got through to someone called Jessica. Jessica said that she was unable to help me because I needed to “book a slot for a time that suited me” on their website. Jessica was unable to arrange a suitable slot over the phone. I decided to give them a chance and had a look on their website. It was showing a free slot for *the same afternoon* with (here comes the great reveal!!) Jessica. It would have been far easier for Jessica to actually have spoken to me - but instead there was some bureaucratic process. In other words: if you want to speak to real people and not an online diary this might not be the place for you. We’ve gone elsewhere.

I can only endorse what the previous reviewer said about YEYW. They were first class from beginning to end of our job and I hugely recommend them. We already had solar panels and a battery, and the work YEYW did for us was a heat pump installation. It was quite a drawn out process (largely because we took our time about it and wanted a fair bit of reassurance and explanation along the way). Leah, Kevin and the rest of the team were really good throughout. Patient, helpful, pragmatic, no "selling" at all, always willing to wait and to explain and to adjust if needed. Pricing was always very clear as were the practical implications of what had to be done. Once we went ahead the work was done very well, quickly & efficiently. It was quite an awkward job because of the pipe runs (which we knew it would be) but the team took great care to ensure we understood what they would be doing and what its impact would be. The workmanship was top notch and the team worked hard to keep the areas they were working in as clean and tidy as possible, which we appreciated. Once the installation was completed everything that had been moved or taken out and that could be put back, was returned to its original position, again with great care. We had a full, clear explanation of how it all worked, how to manage our electricity tariff to best advantage henceforward, and the relevant app for managing the system. We're now actively considering improving our battery and inverter system and will definitely go with YEYW if we do go ahead with that, which we almost certainly will. I would recommend YEYW unhesitatingly. They're a fantastic business. I'd also say that if you are worried about a heat pump (and I was a bit nervous) it is fine once you've made the leap!

I engaged ‘Your Energy Your Way’ (YEYW) for my transition from Gas to Heat-pump. There are a lot of horror stories about bad installations, therefore, I spent some time researching and assessing competent installation companies. Eventually I settled on YEYW. 1. Proposal / Quotation The process of obtaining a budget quotation from the YEYW website was quite straightforward, the quote was market conform, it was not the cheapest of my quotes, however, I had some confidence in the company based upon my research. After the budget quote was received, the next step involved a 3D survey (for heat loss calculations) and a video call with YEYW to go through the scope of works. This has a cost which is then off-set from the final proposal. After this an updated quotation was received which reflected the scope in more detail, save for any changes that would be necessary based upon the YEYW pre-installation site visit. At this point one minor issue to highlight, that is, that it was not easy to understand the increase from the initial budget to the revised quote. I did add some extras, such as additional radiators and I did go for a Kronterm heat-pump as it was more aesthetically pleasing. Eventually, after some clarification, we did settle on a proposal which I was happy to move forward with. It should be noted that YEYW did state that this proposal is a ‘strong’ indication of the final cost, however, it is important to understand that this is not the final cost. Recommendations made during the Engineer visit do not form part of the base proposal scope. It is difficult to ascertain if these recommendations are necessary, however, I put my full trust in YEYW and agreed to the recommendations. 2. Install The install process was flawless, I was really impressed by YEYW installation team’s attention to detail, knowledge and communication. Disruption is of course unavoidable, particularly if additional radiators are necessary, yet the YEYW team was meticulous to the point that they made sure everything was cleaned aware and made safe at the end of each day. I must also commend the quality of the reinstatement works externally and the quality of the workmanship internally again indicating a high level of attention to detail. It was clear from speaking to the younger apprentices that YEYW was keen on developing their workforce. It was also comforting to see Leah (YEYW Director) making a site visit during the install. This indicates the personal approach of YEYW. 3. System Performance At the time of writing we have been living with the heat-pump for 1 year. The heat-pump installation has so far performed extremely well, it is maintaining the design temperatures throughout the house while exceeding the expected design SCOP. I had an existing Solar & Battery system, which pairs extremely well with the heat-pump to exploit cheaper energy tariffs. This was not installed by YEYW, however based upon my experience with the heat-pump installation I regret not engaging YEYW to install my solar system also.

We recently had solar panels, battery storage and Samsung heat exchanger air conditioning installed by Your Energy Your Way and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. While there were a few delays with communication early on, the team handled things professionally and made a real effort to put everything right, including upgrading our solar panels, which was very much appreciated. From installation onwards, the whole experience was excellent. The installers were incredibly friendly, professional and patient, and they took the time to properly explain how everything worked rather than just fitting it and disappearing. The mySigen system has been genuinely eye opening. Being able to properly see and understand our home energy usage in real time has completely changed how we think about electricity consumption, battery usage and solar generation. It’s a brilliant system. The Samsung air conditioning units have also been fantastic. Quiet, efficient and incredibly effective, especially during warmer weather. What really stood out though was the quality of the workmanship and the pride the team clearly takes in what they do. Everything was installed neatly, explained clearly and just worked. Absolutely love this company and I’m very glad we chose them.

I can recommend YEYW enough- they were excellent from start to finish. Professional, timely, knowledgeable. We are extremely pleased with our heat pump and will definitely be using them again when we get solar panels. If you are considering any of these things this company is the one to go for.

Their workmanship was to a very high standard, they were easy to work with, were very efficient and flexible in their use of staff and finished ahead of schedule. They were by far the most organised work people we have had on any job. YEYW fitted a heatpump for us this summer. Really good experience with the company during the initial assessment and great crew of engineers who fitted the heatpump and upgraded some of the radiators. Fantastic attentive and expert service. Heatpump is working really well, as I'm writing this its 1C outside and the house is cosy and warm and our bills are lower than they were last year on gas.

We found our experience with YEYW fabulous. The roofers, scaffolders and solar installers were all great. Communications from Richard and office staff was also great.

Heat pump installed by a lovely, good natured group of hard working people who tidied up every afternoon. They asked just the right level of questions when they thought of better ways to do things than originally planned. Very impressed with the attention to detail everywhere. Pump been in place for a few months now. Lovely hot water and the radiators are beginning to kick in as the weather turns colder - all good. When the pump occasionally does make a noise, which is rare, it sounds rather nice to me, bit like gentle rain.

I was referred to YEYW by a happy heat pump customer, and after many months of research (looking at different manufacturers and installers) I decided to go with YEYW. Leah is an industry expert and organised an air pressure test of my home which highlighted some insulation issues (which were fixed). I then had a large (16kW) Samsung heat pump installed in May 2025. It’s a larger house and had some complex legacy issues with plumbing. But I am so happy with the results. It’s greatly simplified our heating and hot water systems. The house is comfortable round the clock and with all the hot water we need. I am confident that overall we will save on energy costs and it’s a joy to get rid of gas supply from this house. Leah’s team was absolutely brilliant; their knowledge, professionalism and friendliness was amazing.

We used YEYW to install an 8.7kW solar power and battery system. They provided an excellent service and we are delighted with the finished product. Started well with good comms and discussions over the phone. Then heard nothing from them for a while so chased it up a few times, still heard nothing. I chased again and then got a mail saying they didn’t have the time to do my job. Disappointing as they seem to have a good reputation.

We renovated our house in 2018, and used Your Energy Your Way to install an air source heat pump and solar panels. We have been very impressed with Leah, Pia and the rest of the team at YEYW. Their guidance, expertise and advice have been so valuable over the years. Recently, we had an issue with our heating system and YEYW were there straight away to help and solve the problem. If you are thinking of using greener energy sources than I would highly recommend YEYW.

We approached YEYW regarding solar panel installation following poor experiences with two other, much larger companies, neither of whom were able to come up with a solution for us. The team at YEYW were great from the start – very quick to respond to our enquiry, and provided detailed information even at the stage of initial ideas. After a site visit Richard was able to come up with a bespoke solution that matched our needs and that was much more cost effective than the ‘sausage factory’ solution offered by the other companies. The process of arranging the installation was efficiently handled – YEYW were very responsive and managed to coordinate the installation to accommodate our commitments. The installation team were lovely – not just good at their jobs but really nice people to have around and went out of their way to be helpful. Post-installation service was also excellent. We are very pleased with the solar panels and battery, and are now considering getting YEYW to also install a heat pump for us. The difference between the service provided by YEYW and the other companies we had tried to work with on low carbon energy solutions was marked – I highly recommend YEYW.

A fantastic experience. We had a heat pump put in by the your energy your way team and I cannot rate them highly enough. They were great! From start to finish the team were efficient, knowledgeable and communicated well. They arrange the install quickly and advised about how to get our property ready to get the best out of the heat pump. The works team were amazing! They were so kind and considerate in our house and cleaned up meticulously every day after they had finished. They explained everything clearly and the workmanship from the plumbing, groundworks and carpentry is excellent. I used your energy your way to do a heat loss calculation and then subsequent install of a Vaillant Heat Pump in Nov 2023 We were delighted with the installation and very happy with their approach to the project and planning. The finished installation looks great and has plenty of power to heat the house plus its running costs are lower than anticipated. From start to finish I felt very comfortable with everyone I spoke to at Your Energy Your Way. I felt that my house was in good hands. They carefully replaced multiple radiators around the house always leaving us with working heating each evening. They planned much of the work so that the actual switch over from gas to the heat pump only took two days so this was the only time we had to use temporary electric heaters, which they supplied. The finished pipework and wiring is very neat and overall we are delighted with the look and function of the installation. I can happily recommend Your Energy Your Way to anyone who wants a taylor fit designed system that works well with your house.

The guys and gals from Your Energy Your Way designed and installed my ASP system a few weeks ago and I am extremely happy the quality of the installation and with its performance. The whole process was very smooth and all happened within the timescales promised. The quality of the workmanship was exemplary throughout, so I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We were looking to get rid of our gas boiler and move to using a hot air system. We also wanted to install a battery to complement our Solar Panels. We contacted four companies. One never returned our calls or emails. Another wanted to schedule a consultation meeting two months away. We spoke with the other two, and only Your Energy Your Way was interested to understand why we wish to change. In addition, they were the only company who asked us to fill-in a detailed questionnaire to understand what heating system we use today, information about our house and room sizes in prep for a face to face consultation. During the latter, they really ensured they understood our goals and were very transparent on potential pitfalls or misconceptions. We felt no pressure to buy during our pre-contract interaction. Once they fully understood our "why" and our "what," including full measurements and analysis of our household, they made their recommendations. Execution of the install was just as impressive: clean, professional workmanship. And even once the work was complete, they remained in touch and quickly answered any challenge we faced or question we had. We would highly recommend Your Energy, Your Way to anyone who is looking to switch from gas boilers to hot air systems or any other of the services they provide. As their name states, it's truly "Your Energy, Your Way."

Leah and the team quoted us and answered my endless questions in detail and professionally. Since then we've got our solar panels and battery and they're working very well now, after a delayed but quality installation process, full credit to the team there. Had a 10 panel solar PV system and battery storage system installed. Leah was excellent at explaining, communications were clear, Install work was neat and professional. Joe the electrician was great and consulted before any decisions. Very pleased with how it operates. Highly recommended.

The team at Your Energy Your Way updated the heating system and installed an Air Source Heat Pump at my home in September. The whole process from the home survey to the quote and the final install was performed extremely professionally. I was kept updated at every step of the process, and the team answered any questions that I had. The new system has been up and running successfully for 4 months now. We have a warm house with plenty of hot water always available.

We engaged Leah and YEYW to perform a domestic PV installation together with a battery. It was an extremely busy time for the industry but Leah kept us fully informed about realistic time estimates and kept to the dates which were agreed. She took a personal interest in all aspects of the install and spent a good deal of time going through a complex commissioning process with the electrical engineer Joe who is both a perfectionist and a very reliable and decent chap. There are apparently some cowboys within this industry - this lady and her team are thoroughly trustworthy, professional and a pleasure to deal with.
