Great service as ever from Russell, neatly fitting a new Megaflo cylinder with everything up and running and tidy by the end of the day.

Very prompt and methodical, and, more importantly, he got our boiler functioning again in the cold weather.

They say that you are lucky to still be talking to your contractor at the end of a job. Well I was laughing and joking with Russell and shaking his hand at the end with gratitude and thanks. I had a complicated ASHP installation, converting from gas, which involved the replacement of every radiator in the house. Russell had a lot of metaphorical spanners thrown at him during the installation, including supply chain issues with the hot water tank, and a malfunctioning controller from Mitsubishi. He spent a lot of time on the phone to the support line to get things working. He is dogged and determined, and that's what you need from a heating engineer. This company is courteous and friendly and I highly recommend them.

Russell is brilliant. Honest, reasonably priced, reliable and always able to help in an emergency. He looks after my tenanted flat and always reminds me when my gas safety certificate is due for renewal.

There were several queries regarding the parts for the job and Russell was very patient dealing with all my queries. He fit the job in quickly and completed it with no mess. He wore a mask to protect my parents and answered queries on other potential plumbing jobs. Excellent in all respects.

He certainly knew what he was doing and far more important was a truly honest man as in a panic to get the problem sorted I accidentally paid him twice and immediately he contacted me and paid the money back into my account. Russell quoted for the replacement of safety-critical control valves on a Megaflo sealed storage tank (part of our central heating installation). He identified the problem from photographs provided by us, sourced the replacement components and finished the job within the time quoted. He worked quickly and cleanly, with a clear explanation of what he was doing. He'd have got five stars if he had been on time but to be fair he was delayed by a previous job over-running. I'd specially praise his professionalism. We shall be using him again when need arises.

Russell fitted a new Vaillant boiler to my house, excellent service, reasonable price, great guy.

Never ever use this company, he is very very unreliable and unprofessional. He charged me a lot of money for something really basic, he did not do the job correctly, when I called him to report this he said I should use a plumber. This guy is a joke.

Megaflow boiler service and sink repair Russell arrived earlier than the arranged time which was not a problem at all. He quickly fixed the leaking sink and then completed the service in a timely manner where he discovered an issue with the boiler. He clearly explained all the options in terms of replacement boilers. The old boiler is still hanging on and providing hot/warm water, so an urgent repair is not needed. However, I wish he had earlier availability to do the job. (currently around a 3-4 week wait) I would happily recommend him to others!

We are very happy with the service: Russell arrived on the appointed day and carried out the work with courtesy and due attention to social distancing. He installed a new tap which works extremely well and he had the foresight to notice which direction hot and cold had been on the old tap, and maintain the same handing with the new one.

I have been a customer of Russell Haskins Heating an Plumbing for approximately 3 years and have always found their service, professionalism and reliability to be outstanding. They have done small jobs (e.g. fixed taps) and very large jobs (e..g replaced boiler, fitted pressure flow system, replaced water pipes to property) for us - and no big was too big or too small. I have called Russell out of hours on a couple of occasions with an emergency, and he has always been incredibly helpful. Russell runs a tightly controlled operation, with close oversight and accountability for all he employs. The prices are competitive and reasonable for the amount of work and attention to detail. The other great thing about this company is that they always leave the home clean and tidy on leaving. Of all the plumbers I have ever used, Russell Haskins are the best and the company I trust the most. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing or heating job.

Its sad we need to give them a 1 star in order to review! These guys are rubbish. They even forgot about the appointment at the beginning!. I tried to review on Trustpilot which is a good site. Heavens knows how this company got 9.8 out of 10 on Checkatrade. Firstly the man stated we had a leak and tried to frighten us by asking us what would we do if we had another leak and it does matter if we are not worried about our water bills! Later on when my husband came back from shopping - he pointed out the so called leak was dry but the man confirmed the leak would probably come back! Secondly he left after 30 mins. We were told a service takes approx 1 hour. As soon as he left we checked and found a previously dry joint was badly leaking. He came back more or less straight away. He claimed he stated he had tighten this joint before he left and checked it was ok. Obviously it was not! Thirdly he didnt write anything down, he did ask me to sign on a little ipad - There was nothing else on this little ipad. These guys shouldnt be playing at servicing. Afterwards we searched Megaflow servicing and found they failed to do the service. They have sent a bill for nearly €80. They wasted our whole afternoon - we had no water and the inconvenience. We should be sending them a bill. They did not carry out a correct service - only created problems. Do not use them.
