I have chosen W-Heat for 8+ years now and think they do a great job. The engineers are friendly and professional service. Shane was very good and serviced the boiler recently, as you can also pay for yearly maintenance cover too. Would recommend the company.

Just had a new boiler fitted with this expert company. Can't fault them. Respectful, knowledgeable and superb communication. The whole job was excellent from quote to installation, highly recommended.

I recommend this company. We had a large electrical job done by them and they were excellent. They listened to what we wanted, explained what would be involved and gave a clear detailed quote. Arran and Harrison did all the work and couldn’t have been better. They were a neat and tidy workers, always polite, great communicators and stayed until the job was done. They did a quality job for us and we will use them again. Update - we’ve since had further work, electrical, plumbing and heating work done by Wheat with the same excellent service and finished results. We had a problem with our bolier and after several recommendations we spoke to W-Heat. You hear lots of horror stories about trades people but there was not one issue. From the moment I made the enquiry I was met with a friendly and professional service. Speaking with Kate on the Thursday morning, we had an engineer (Shane, who was brilliant) that afternoon. Shane was able to quickly diagnose the issue and we were provided with a quote that evening.... Shane then came the next morning and fitted the parts and within 2 hours we were back up and running. Fabulous service from start to finish and service with a smile. Why would we go anywhere else... Thank you - Simon.

Efficient and respectful service.

Came round to fix a boiler issue, lad got it sorted but advised it needed some additional work. Got a quote but as the boiler is very old descided to not have it done. Call a few weeks later regarding a leaking radiator, lady on the phone mentioned the boiler work, I said I didn’t want it doing so she suggested both the boiler and radiator could be done at the same time, sounded good so agreed. Chap comes round, fixes the boiler but said radiator needed parts and draining so unable to do it as would take too long. This meant I needed to book and pay for an additional call out only for them to come the following week and spend 14 minutes soldering a cap on. Called the office to resolve as did not feel this was fair, didn’t want to know.

Tom Millard was the Service Engineer who came to service our boiler. Unlike every other engineer who’s done so over the last years he was Very familiar with the Worcester Boiler and was clearly experienced at doing so. Not only that he did far more during the service relating to other gas appliances ( Gas Hob and Gas Fire) I have every confidence in Tom and happily give 5 Gold Stars. He is an excellent advocate for his company.

Couldn’t recommend W-Heat highly enough. We recently moved to Cheshire and needed a heating and plumbing company that we could rely on and they have definitely given us that. A traditional family run business who care about their customers, and Shane who arrived today to service my boiler was extremely pleasant and very efficient. Would 100% recommend.😀

Another annual boiler service done by W-Heat, engineer Shane completed the service and provided advice for the boiler service next year. He arrived on time and left the boiler area in a clean and tidy state.

Very professional. The company text when a date is assigned to visit then if you dont need to change it they actually text on the day en route. I had Tom and Lance attend. Extremely professional,took shoes off at the door,polite and explained quickly what was wrong with my boiler. They came back within a few days to fit a new thermostat. Again very efficient tidy and professional. I would definitely recommend this company and these two members of staff are a credit to the company

Used this company via my Home Emergency Cover due to a leaking boiler. The service has been second to none and Shane was fantastic. Apart from making a repair look so easy, he explained everything, even things I didn’t ask to show his knowledge which I was very appreciative of. From the initial contact to the communication of who and when is coming, the service in my opinion was faultless and breath of fresh air. I could not recommend anyone highly enough. Thank you 👍

A bit pricey for a call out, but service was quick and the engineer sorted the issue. I think the communication could have been better, an email, phone call or text to say the engineer is on the way would have been good as I had a time slot of 3 hours and ended up calling the office to check the engineer was coming after sitting in a cold house for over 2.5 hours.

We have used W-Heat for a number of years now and have always had excellent service. We have just had Joe to sort out a leak from a tank in the loft. Super young man who quietly and efficiently did the job. He explained things so we could understand what was going on !! The call out service is quick and efficient and the Customer Service team (Kate etc ) are excellent too. I highly recommend this company.

Had some lights fitted and a new shower cable. Aaron done the job brilliantly. Very friendly lad and introduced me to options for plumbing and heating cover. Cleaned up and respected our household. Top service.

Great service from W Heat. Contacted them regarding a problem with our Megaflo cylinder. Got back to me within 24 hours and were able to source the part needed to fix but supplying a couple of photos. Engineer visited and completed the job within 30 minutes and far less cost than quoted by Megaflo. Highly recommend.

Very pleased that I chose W-Heat to install my new combi boiler. From initial contact, to installation was just 4 days due to a complete boiler failure in mid December; excellent service. A perfect installation! Existing 17 year old domestic gas boiler replaced by Worcester-Bosch system unit and associated hot water storage. The team arrived as planned, immediately overcame a few design challenges with some clever pipework and left the property in immaculate condition. A great job - would highly recommend them.

Had 4 new radiators fitted yesterday and was really impressed with the product and the guys who fitted them .. they were meticulous in their attention to detail.. all carpets were covered, and everywhere was cleaned up afterwards. We booked W-HEAT to remove an immersion heater and fit a smaller water heater for my parents. Tom and Joe were punctual, polite and worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. They didn't leave any mess, and were neat and tidy in their work. Everything was checked before they left and my parents are much happier with the replacement system. The price was fair too, so overall we are very happy with the service provided by W_HEAT and will look to use them for any future work we need doing. When we contacted W-HEAT LTD about problems with our boiler an engineer came out straight away and advised that we needed a replacement, one of the issues being it was over 15 years old. Within 3 working days a new boiler was fitted the two engineers, Tom and Jo who did the work were very polite, competent in their job, pleasant, explained everything they had done, they took all the rubbish away no mess left behind. 100% pleased with the work done and a lovely warm house. We recommend this company totally.

I had a radiator in the bathroom that has not been heating up for 2 years! Other heating engineers could not solve the problem as to what was wrong. Along came Tom & Joe from W - Heat and I now have a toasty Bathroom. They were determined to work out what the problem was and carpets and floorboards were put back with care. They were both very polite and knowledgeable.

Sunamp installation completed with no problems it was perfect. We have used W-Heat this week for some electric work and earlier this year we used them to plumb and re-wire our newly fitted kitchen. The team have produced the work to a very high standard resolving problems with plumbing and electric wiring they could not have anticipated due to them both being behind cabinets and walls. Their flexibility and know how was excellent. The failure of parts and fitments being delivered for scheduled appointments were all overcome. Their expertise is overcoming some issues with appliances and water pressure levels and support was outstanding. I cannot recommend the team highly enough. These fitted a boiler for my partners son and left him with no water to the washing machine he rang them and the company basically said its not there problem and no one would return. After a few days I went down to have a look at why it wasn't working and the plumber had turned an isolating valve off but not turned it back on, now we all make mistakes I fully understand that but not to send a plumber back is disgusting. He was going to take out a boiler care plan with them but don't think that will happen now due to the very poor customer service and have to say very condescending manager who didn't seem to be bothered at all

Boiler replaced. Got no running water in kitchen after. Contacted company. Reply was they are not responsible for that, told them I was washing my plates in the bath after food, having to get water from the bath room, 5 days later, still no water and explained what I was having to do, reply was ( laughing) down the phone by the women on reception. Finally got a plumber, discovered they had got a piece of lead they had cut blocked in the pipe going to the sink. Had no help from the regarding this issue. Never recommend. You can see from the reply the denial and lack of response to the behaviour. Pipe had some lime scale in as well. The point is you left me without water for 5 days, And your attitude was disgusting, are you going to deny that as well. If I want to leave a review, I can do in my own time, what’s wrong with 17th months later?

I can highly recommend W-Heat. Nick, their Engineer came out promptly to assess our central heating boiler. He immediately identified a fault and corrected this, having got a spare part in his vehicle. He also made recommendations on the next process, due to our boiler being very old and the potential safety issues associated. W-Heat office staff were also very efficient and helpful. I’ve been offered a 3 month boiler cover so peace of mind until I can arrange a new boiler. Exceptional customer service.

W-heat came out to us on Tuesday, they assessed and confirmed our problem as we had had no hot water for three days. They ordered the part and came back and fitted it on Thursday. Really good service and very pleasant professional engineers to deal with .

This is the second time I have used W-Heat. They are the best at what they do in my opinion. After fitting my oil boiler they found an electrical issue in my kitchen that was dangerous. They came back and sorted the electrical issue. They are thorough, their prices are resonable and the quality of work is excellent. Absolutely delighted I chose W-HEAT for my gas certificate. Kate was extremely friendly & professional & there wasn’t anything that was too much trouble for her . Jamie who did the testing was polite, courteous & efficient. The certificate arrived within the hour! Very impressive! I would recommend without hesitation! Combi boiler fitted Sept 2023 after the men had done we went into the loft and discovered that most of the loft insulation had been ripped up and thrown about in piles but not one to make a fuss hubby relaid it all,then we had a severe frost and the outside drainage pipe that they fitted had frozen so no heating and no water ,we went round 3times and were told there was nothing they could do which with weather conditions we understood they were busy but when one did come out we were told callout was £90and all that was done was to put drainage pipe running into a bucket for next 5weeks they eventually said they would come and re-route pipe but it would cost £60so we havnt paid either because the job was never finished has promised it's all money with them and I have photos of it all on my phone

Myself and all my family use W-heat if we ever have a problem. Always a quick and successful service provided. Nick the main guy always goes out of his way with any problems to resolve as quickly as possible. Wouldn't use anyone else to be honest. 5 stars given from myself.

Serviced the boiler, fixed one fault. Caused another fault and tried to charge over £400 to repair. Stay away!!!!

Avoid. Botched a shower pump repair which has cost us £100s to resolve. Continually difficult and abrasive to deal with.

I paid £739 and my boiler still doesn't work! Make sure you read the other reviews before you book, because I didn't and it seriously cost me. In December my boiler started leaking. An engineer from W-Heat came to my house and said it needed a return manifold replacing. They quoted £739 which was a bit shocking but it's the dead of winter and I needed it sorting so I booked the repair. I stupidly paid on the same day I was invoiced, because just 3 days after the repair the boiler started leaking again. I called the office, naturally assuming they would make it right. The engineer came again and immediately saw the problem. He said a pipe was old and would need replacing. He went away to source the part. When I called the office a few days later to chase progress, I was told I would be charged about £150 (presumably plus VAT) for them to make it right! The engineer had told me the pipe was old, therefore the problem was clearly not something that occurred in the 3 days between his first repair and the leak starting again. It should have been identified at the first assessment and fixed along with the return manifold. I was willing the pay for the second part because, had the first assessment been done correctly, I would always have been charged for 2 parts. Fair enough. But it's ridiculously to ask me to pay for more labour when it was the labour that was the problem in the first place. W-Heat has my £739 and I still have a a broken boiler. Nightmare. I just wish I'd read the reviews on here before booking because a lot of them talk about unfinished jobs :-(

Well I was disappointed really they came they fixed it then I had a problem with it 20 minutes after they left.Then I had to get another plumber out to sort it for me at my expense . Very expensive company I don't recommend

All the staff I dealt with were amazing. The lady taking the calls was friendly and helpful. The guy who came to carry out the work was knowledgable and chatty. The response time was fast and the cost of the work was very reasonable. What a great company. I would recommend to everyone.

Excellent service and really pleased with W-Heat. Our combi boiler stopped working the week before Christmas. Nick was with us in no time and whilst we feared a new boiler was required, he was able to diagnose the fault and it was repaired by another excellent member of staff a couple of days later. Also important to us was the fantastic support and updates from Kate. Highly recommended, will use again and they will be our go-to when the boiler does eventually give up!

We have just moved into a 17th century cottage and used W-Heat to replace our old oil boiler with a modern LPG version. As you can imagine, things weren’t straightforward, but our engineer Terry and his young apprentice Joe, stuck to the task. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will need some additional radiators once other works have been completed. We will be going straight back to W-Heat - they were excellent.

Really, really happy. Initially, I contacted them for the installation of new boiler after let down by other plumbers. Now subscribe to their monthly servicing plan and they come regularly to service it. I have also used them for the installation of a new fusebox and removal of outside toilet (my house is very old!!!) and they were very reasonably priced jobs, always arrived on time and no problems whatsoever. I've found both the engineers and office staff to be friendly, approachable and hard working. I just wish they did roofs, gardens and the other many problems my home always seems to have...

Nick and the team were great. Came when they said they would (which sounds like a pre-requisit but seems to be a miracle at the moment). Everything was quoted and itemised upfront so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Highly recommend.

We have used W-heat now for a few jobs and they have always done a really good job. The latest was changing a gravity fed system to a combi boiler. Terry was very professional, and tidy throughout he was also very considerate to the fact I was working from home. The job was completed to a high standard and the process was explained throughout.

We have used this company twice. The first time was to repair our ageing boiler. The repair included replacement of ignition parts. The boiler failed again within a month and we had repeated issues which the company put down to the boiler's age. We brought them back to replace the boiler in March 2021 as it had failed completely and they were the only engineers who could fit a replacement promptly. They recommended replacing our hot water tank and installing Hive multilane thermostatic controllers. They made several verbal assurances and their quote was, in hindsight rather vague. They did the work promptly and the engineers were friendly, helpful and tidy. When finished, we noticed that the water filter was making a noise and they advised us to bleed it ourselves. Then the second Hive controller appears not to be working and when an engineer returned it transpired that they had fitted it to our existing underfloor heating which we had not requested. We had understood that it would control our upstairs central heating. When we raised this with them, their owner Nick Wheat became very defensive and unfriendly blaming us for a lack of understanding of how domestic plumbing works. We're left with an incorrectly installed Hive system, a two-zone system that is completely redundant, errors on our underfloor heating and no means of controlling our upstairs heating as we expected. Mr Wheat blames us for our alleged misunderstanding and refuses to rectify the situation. We have suggested a compromise that would cost him £200 (the entire job cost us £4000) but he refuses to help us. Overall, our experience has not been positive and we have been left with a very bad taste in our mouths due to Mr Wheat's attitude and unwillingness to help a customer. We will not use them again and would not recommend them to others. A great shame that Mr Wheat does not understand the value of customer endorsement and reputation management in the internet age. Update: In response to the business owners reply, the engineer only advised us that we could not have independently controlled heating upstairs AFTER we complained that it did not appear to be setup correctly. You DID NOT explain this to us in the quoting process or in your visit to our home pre-quote. As I have explained to you previously, the thermostat for our underfloor heating displays errors and it is not always switched on. You introduced that fault, not us. And yet you have not offered to come and fix it - instead you've focussed on avoiding resolving the other issue. Is it unreasonable to expect you to fix something that you have broken and rendered useless? We have not held anyone to "ransom" as you suggest. We have merely suggested a compromise solution that gets us up and running as we expected and we offered to either pay for the thermostats and have you install or vice versa. In practice this would in the former case have cost you one hour of labour but you did not feel it was worth even that to leave a satisfied customer. If you must respond here, then please do so honestly. We always support local businesses when those businesses treat us fairly and not combatively.

This is the 3rd time we have used W-Heat Ltd. James did a great job on our electrics yesterday. He was polite and efficient. He arrived on time and did an excellent tidy job. Would highly recommend.

We would not hesitate to recommend W-Heat, they are very polite, friendly and professional. They installed a new boiler and additional radiator in 2018 and have conducted the annual safety checks since. Given all the current issues with Covid-19 we were pleased that our safety check has just gone ahead. The check was carried out with care and consideration of the current crisis and in their usual friendly and efficient manner.

Just had the lads sorting a bathroom extraction fan. They did a good job and kept me informed of any issues. The fan now works fine. Always recommend these people, very polite and trustworthy. I have read the 3 poor reviews on this page from local people and can assure people this is not the workmanship standard I know. They will definitely be top of my list if something needs doing in future. A job well done. I do know Nick but always speak without prejudice.

They came and fitted an electric shower excellent service from start to finish turned up when said they would and on time clean and tidy. Overall just lovely people would highly recommend.

Recently had a Worcester boiler installed by Terry from W-heat. Very fast call out response and an unbeatable quote. Turned up clean and tidy and a very quick turn around on fitting the new boiler. Even disposed of our old one for us. Thank you W-heat for keeping us warm this winter.

Absolutely fantastic service. The lady I spoke to on phone was very nice , easy to book in and great price too. They have fitted a new circuit board and 20 new plug sockets. Arrived did the work , cleaned up . The man who was sent was very polite and respectful. I will definitely recommend. Also I will definitely be having w-heat back end of summer to fit my new boiler.

They fitted a new boiler and in the process removed the water tank from the loft. When I discovered that there was a hole in the wall where the overflow had been I rang them to explain, they asked for photos, which I supplied, and said they would get back to me. When I rang them 6 weeks later because they hadn't been in contact, they said that they aren't builders and the hole wasn't there problem. If you use this company just be aware that you may be left with some repair work yourself.

New boiler all installed - great service!

Used this company to service a boiler. They came and rushed the job, leaving the tank to fill up on it’s own. The tank was left to fill over night and we had a flood which has left us with a mess to clean. The water got into my kitchen cupboards and has resulted in the wood swelling, water stained ceiling, water in the walls and more. When they came out to access the damage they admitted liability. Days went by and they came out to amend their fault. After realizing the units are no longer available to purchase, they decided the toaster was to blame for the wood swelling (Never heard so much rubbish in my life). We went through the insurance to try and resolve this, but they didn’t want to pay and after previously admitting fault, started to deny they were at fault. This has resulted in weeks of back and forth emails and phone calls to get the issue resolved. Final the insurance got fed up with them and told us to accept their very poor offer, after not being able to reason with this company. Good luck if you decide to use them.

What a great company, I have had a new boiler and filter and pump and in January I will be having new pipes and radiation
