Followed one of their vans the other day and the driver flicked his fag out the window and it narrowly missed my helmet ad I was on my bike and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to smoke in a signed van and illegal to throw your fag's out the window so thanks for that idiot van driver

Tried to cancel our contract only to be offered a cheaper price than currently paying. Then being told the termination fee is more than staying put until the end of the contract! If I had gone with the cheaper price (which was still significantly more than offered by another company) I would be tied in to another 12 month. Very disappointed. On a different note the customer service team are excellent and as helpful as they can be

Very rude driver , cose danger on the road

The most horrific company you could ever have to deal with! If you like rubbish never being collected, having to call them constantly every month and being out of pocket then maybe this company is for you! I wouldn't even give them 1 star!!!!

These guys are useless. Your better of going directly to a waste company. Can't blame the staff. It's the management that's to blame!

I've been with 1stwaste for 4 years. Customer service is great. Over the years, I've dealt with different people and they have the same trait. They are good in following up. People needs to realise they have to deal with the depot. If the depot screws up, they get the blame which is sometimes unfair. Anyways, in the rare occasion of miscollect

Jonathan Adcock contacted us about our waste management and provided a very competitive quote,unfortunately we cannot move due to tie in with our existing supplier. However Jonathan was very professional and agreed to contact me again when we can move. The prices he offered were great and we will be moving - Jonathan is a credit to the company, not pushy and on the ball with regard to replying to phone calls / emails

Having recently discussed terms and provisionally agreeing for 1st Waste Management to undertake our waste and recycling requirements, I did consider the executive I spoke to, Jonathan Adcock as polite, reasonable and courteous. Jonathan did not appear too assertive and did seem to possess a patient demeanour whilst discussing business. He was professional and knowledgeable and was able to provide us with a great quote. All responses were received within the timescales he provided. Often miss our collections. Not happy about paying for waste collections and yet our waste not getting collected on the scheduled days.

Have used 1st waste now for nearly a year for our commercial waste. Could not rate enough, in particular Ellis - who has always been so helpful and always on call and prompt to sort out any adjustments to our account and resolved the one issue we have had in a year which was through no fault of ourselves or 1st waste instantly.

Website gives a dangerous rating with Norton. Does not inspire confidence.

Due to Covid-19 we were called to find out if we wanted to suspend collection which we did. Having spoken to Jess Bates yesterday requesting a collection, she got one organised which was completed before 7am today. Well done Jess and the team, excellent service!!

Service isn't too bad for the majority of the time, we have had issues with missed collections, and have to ring up to get them to come back out, sometimes this will take a few days. This is a bit of a frustration. Especially when we have forgotten to put bins out on the collection day, we get a call to say we will get charged extra for a missed collection? this doesn't make sense, as they have done less work, have less waste, and we get hit with extra charges. They don't refund us any money when they miss a collection! could be better, it is only due to being a central contract arranged via our head office, otherwise I would have found a new one by now.

Brilliant Service!

Missed collections, incorrect invoices and constant 'overweight' charges means you end up paying more than double for the same service from Dorset Council. Avoid this absolute bunch of cowboys.

Absolutely rubbish company I have to call up every single week for my bins to be taken even still they don't take it they reschedule it for another day I would not recommend this company to anyone at all everytime i call up the same answer is well call up the depo the comaony do not take any responsibility for thier problems if it is the depo why havnt they sorted it out already it seriously didn't take a year does it

As per my previous post and in response to the company - The rubbish is still outside my house here not collected. My first review (L.CLARKE) was this morning it's now the evening. Another no show.

As of today I have two almost three eeekw of rubbish at the front of my house. It is meant to be a weekly collection. Numerous excuses no communication without you calling them. Car broken dowdln, can't fit down road, it's just a missed collection. They are no good stay clear I am cancelling.
