In August 2024, I had a roof leak in my bedroom, contacted C&S (Shane) for the same, subsequently he checked the leak and gave me a quote with a 10 year warranty, the job was completed as scheduled, to my surprise it started to leak in 10 days (first rain) but this time in the bedroom and in the hall, he promised to fix the leak, but doesn’t turn up, it’s now July 2025 (10 months) I’ve been ringing him since then but he never answers the phone, so now from one leak in the bedroom I have an additional leak in the hall, he kept the scaffolding up for two months and then disappeared never more to lift my call, very unreliable nice guy but not trustworthy. I have been trying to contact him almost everyday, he read my text and gives empty promises.

Shane and his team have just completed a fantastic job on repairing our leaking roof. The roof is only 15 years old but was leaking due to poor construction and the cheap materials used by the original house builder. Scaffolding was erected fast and with care and consideration for our neighbours. We were kept informed throughout the whole process. I had been trying for over a year to tackle a problem with damp on a chimney breast in my bedroom. The house is Edwardian with a sloping state roof. The company I had been using had made several attempts to deal with it and after each visit the problem had been made worse. I contacted C&S Roofing Services to try and get help correcting the mess that had been made of the roof area around the chimney and the chimney lead work and I am extremely pleased with the results. Despite the fact that they very busy Shane made time to come and see the problem and subsequently prepared a detailed written quote for replacing the lead work and rescuing/replacing the slates. Shane clearly and honestly explained to me the details of the work needed and also the reasons why. The work was prompt scheduled in and carried out on the agreed date. All work was done to a very high standard and the costs were very reasonable. C&S Roofing Services certainly know their way a slate roof and have all the skills necessary. They are also pleasant to have around while they are working. All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with them and made a refreshing contrast to my previous experiences with local roofers. I have no hesitation in recommending C&S for any work on slate roofs and I will certainly use them again for any future work that may be needed.

I can’t give enough praise to the professionalism of Nick and Rob shown whilst applying the roof to my 6/4meter garden room. The standard of work was above and beyond my expectations. The grantees that Shane promised us that should anything go wrong has put both my Wife and I at ease. Since having the work completed we have had 2 long continuous days of heavy rain and not a drop has entered the room. If I could give more than the 5 stars, I would gave Shane and his colleagues the most I could give. I have received an extremely poor customer service. Do use this company 1- They do not answer the phone and if and when they answer the phone there is lot of background noise of children and others. 2- Book appointment three weeks in advance. They failed to attend. 3 Called the number someone answered and cut me off after 10 seconds and text me , call call you later. 4- This company has waisted my precious time. They are not reliable. CS Roofing Services -subcontractors of LET for placing solar panels . I requested roof assessment prior to solar panels. Somebody was sent with no competence in assessing the roof ( scaffolder) , a charge was applied for roof assessment but no roof assessment .The answer : it was a check of the area for scaffolding.LET cancelled the job , I asked to be refunded the money paid as it was not me who cancelled the job they sent the client from one to the other one , refusing to return the money paid for roof assessment . Very careful in dealing with these companies.

After weeks of calling different companies and getting completely unreasonable quotes...we saw a C&S company van at our local shop one evening and knocked on the window to try our luck at finding someone to help us with our Aspestos roof that was leaking water and damaging all our belongings. We met Shane who couldn't have been anymore willing to help. He came to have a look the following day. Understanding our financial situation he worked with us to make it as affordable as he could. His staff came and worked in the pouring rain all day, removing our old roof and framing for the new one. They were really lovely, and went above and beyond. What a brilliant business to deal with. Shane, the business owner, went out of his way to patch up our leaking gutter which had obviously been leaking for years, having just moved into a new home in Wareham. Whilst the work to replace our roof felt and tiles took longer than originally planned (in part due to unforeseen staffing issues), Shane and his team we're always friendly, polite, hard working and tidy. I suffered roof damage after a bad storm at Christmas, Shane was one of the first companies I contacted, he called me within an hour of leaving a message, and attended my address that afternoon to survey the damage and work that needed to be completed.He is a very personable and professional person with a good working knowledge of his profession. Called Shane from C&S to come out and look at our chimney cowl as it appeared to be missing something. He said he would be out within the next few days.
