Easy, well organized and good value. No sloppy tradespeople. Can't comment on longevity of system just yet but design and implementation stage all good.

Did work on my roof through a grant and did a terrible job that led to roof leaking, and have left the roof in my sons room in a mess, was told it would be sorted and that they would change some tiles on the roof as a good will gesture and once I agreed and took down my previous review no one has contacted me since

We had our flat roof on our dormers insulated by GGI over a year ago. Whilst it’s been great to receive the funding for this at the same time the work was initially carried out I became a first time mum. Ever since, I’ve had the wonderful experience of having to chase GGI for numerous of reasons to get the job finished/waste removed/scaffolding removed. The respect of the people who carried out the initial work was really shoddy and left my garden with rubbish everywhere including of which was nails which easily could have punctured a tyre or hurt someone. My waste bin was used to climb on my rear flat roof extension which made the lid buckle. They wanted to leave their tools in our property overnight as they didn’t have a van just a car but when I advised when they wanted to return it’d be an issue due to newborn they chose not too. I requested them to start the work later in the morning which they said they would as they were working on other properties, yet they ignored this. At one point they were even drinking cans of beer whilst supposedly working. We had to chase to get the scaffolding removed after job was completed. At the time we had heat waves in the UK and I couldn’t open my windows of my property due to the scaffolding with a new born. Which still didn’t get done for weeks with chasing. Rubbish left for a few weeks again being chased and told yes be collected and then wasn’t. We were supposed to have extractors installed with the insulation and have only just managed to get our kitchen one running. Granted we chose to have ours wired when we had our kitchen refitted but once completed we needed the hole from the old extractor to the smaller size new extractor fitted and this needed chasing several times. Once our electrician connected the extractor, the extractor then didn’t work meaning another visit required. Our bathroom one still hasn’t been fitted and after a week since the electrician came to fit the bathroom one and report back to GGI that what has been installed is not the extractor, I still haven’t heard from GGI or had anyone to install so we will need to chase again. My daughter is 15 months this week. We had guttering that with strong wind blew of and snapped, again needing chasing numerous times. Thankfully no one was hurt and nothing was damaged. Our neighbours have also had to chase numerous issues on their side too. I would say they probably use their workmen on contracts and it seems they need to use more reputable tradesmen and more thorough with who they work with. They need to improve their aftercare as well as the amount of chasing I have had to do is just unacceptable with many false promises and passed from pillar to post.

Appalling. They have caused damage to my property through bodged roof work. I’ve been waiting a year to get this resolved and it still has not been done. There should be an option for zero stars. The level of incompetence is absolutely staggering. Avoid.

For great work above & beyond for thier understanding that this is my home ,was respected& tidiness was second to none ! Well done Ben & Kieran !!!!

Thankyou very much to GGI for the dormer roof work insulation and fascia works on my grandads property a couple weeks ago The work was completed by Pete W and Mike H they did a lovely job for us and the next door neighbour all work completed on both property’s in one day was very impressive ! Also done a great job on our family freind jennys property over the road . All very pleased with GGI worth a mention nothing to do with the work but the lads was great with my grandad who is part blind once he heard there accent he started his old tales of his time working in Salford and Manchester and the lads really went out there way for him even fixed his gate for us we didn’t realise till after they left but it didn’t go un noticed great bunch of lads and a credit to the company. We certainly will be keeping our ears open for any future opportunities from GGI and government grants hopefully we get to see them again in the future for more improvements . Would strongly recommend GGI to anyone Thanks again

A couple of weeks ago I Had my flat roof dormer insulated and new rubber top put on all new fascia’s and gutters for free by GGI (absolute no brainer) I’ve left it a couple of weeks to see how the roof performs and get some professional opinions It is absolutely perfect. Had the pleasure of Mike and Petes team carrying the work out for us they was really professional they had the work completed all in one day and the scaffold and waste removed all within 2 days after I couldn’t thank them enough they explained all the stages and gave me pictures throughout the job I was so impressed that I have kept personal contact with Mike and Pete for future roof jobs. I had previously contacted other roofers for quotations for this work before I got to know about GGI from a Freind and the costs was averaging around £3500 /£4500 of a couple different roofing companys for the exact same work that has been completed for free by GGI When i let the other roofers know I no longer wanted to go ahead due to discovering GGI they advised i make sure the materials was good enough and that “ im just getting a bodge job” I googled all the materials that was being used once they arrived in my garden and all of the materials they use are the highest possible quality The work completed was to the highest possible quality . The communication and Time scale between start and finish was the highest quality . And the price of the work was beyond the highest quality Absolutely nothing . £0 spent thousands saved and no penny spared in terms of quality . If your a potential Customer reading this review don’t over think what GGI are offering you there’s no hidden costs or fees the work they complete is second to none just let these lads do there jobs . GGI has been excellent in carrying out various job in my home with excellent staffs telling you ahead and taking time and patient to explain what to expect, process of the job and how long the job will take. Julie and Paul carried most people through the process hanging around to make sure the job is done to people's satisfaction, and at the end of each job asking if you are happy or still needs anything doing. Credit to Julie for great organisation 👍

USELESS! Had our assessment for cavity wall and loft insulation first week of November. Advised it would take 1-2 weeks to get back to us but almost 4 months later we have heard nothing. No emails replied to, no calls returned, completely left in the dark since before Christmas. Complete waste of time!

Great company great service from start to finish still in shock that I got my loft turned into a fully functioning room aswell as my bills being lower all for free

Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. PLEASE AVOID!!!! We used them in 2021 for the grants to get our roof insulated when they got the government grant confirmed it all changed. They got £5k for government and I'm certain quote was overinflated to get the maximum after checking later on when it came out, this scheme was taken advantage of by businesses.They hired an external contractor which was against the criteria including aggressive face to face contact from guy in Green Grant installs who ran the business. When around 4 insulation sheet left on the job by contractor and spare we were told. We passed to neighbour, days laters Green Grant installs demanded them back to knock on and get them off our neighbour as they were his. These sheets costs around £30 each. An independent Asian guy came some month later (I think), he made Green Grant installs wait outside. He told us some of it wasn't fitted correctly in places, he told this directly to Green Grant installs and he promised to put face with assessor there to sort it. I called many times to be ignored, I was even asking who was this assessor guy and given no contact details, including emails, I even independently contacted government grants scheme in 2022 but it was closed for any business and wound down this particular scheme FAST FORWARD 2025 Green Grant installs get in touch because they want new business and to check out government schemes. I have emails and proof I have been ignored!!

Steven and his team have just finished work on our dormer roof insulation. The work is of an excellent standard and we were kept informed of every step of the job. The team were really friendly, courteous and professional. Steven sent photos of each step when job finished. Thank you for a good job done.

I had an awful experience with this company. Damaged my property and refuse to fix or repair it. Then they told the company that hired them a pack of lies

So pleased with the work we have had done, Solar Panels, loft installation, windows and doors, extractor fan waiting to be done. Everything from start to finish, we were informed of each step, all the workmen worked non stop, they were all very we’ll manors, cleaned up after they had finished a job, credit to the team, I would most definitely recommend GGI and thank you to all involved

Updated review: UPDATED REVIEW – 3★ I am unable to leave a higher rating as the work completed is still not 100%. However, I would like to thank Pete for all his help and for trying to resolve matters. Pete has been brilliant. He has had regular contact with me and tried to help resolve issues as they arise and responded to any concerns raised. Previous Review: If I could leave a review of negative a million stars I would! From start to well I can’t even say finish because it is not by any means finished!! The service and work has been diabolical the level of incompetence and lack of respect for my property is diabolical! I am not one to leave bad reviews but this needed to be done! Work was started on my flat roof dormas for insulation to improve the energy efficiency of my home. This has not been completed correctly not once but 3 times now and still remains in the state of the following pictures! I have sent photos and videos and been left with empty promises of this being rectified. My facia’s and soffits should be together without any gaps yet I’ve been left with a huge gaping gap which completely defeats the object of having my home insulated! Roof tiles have been broken and not replaced. Rubbish has been left at my property! My drain pipe hasn’t been attached correctly! The list goes on! It is not only my self who is unhappy! On my close alone, never mind the wider estate 3 of my neighbours have also had a negative experience and again things remain incomplete and completely shoddy work!!!!

The company did my house installation such as solar panel, insulation, roof ing , loft , electric, window , doors and plumbing . I am so pleased and happy . They let me know step by step what is going on. They make sure everything cleaned up . Very professional work . A big thank you to everyone

Did a delivery here only yesterday. Lovely girl I spoke to guided me to the right place and the lads were really helpful getting the delivery off the wagon with me. Had a couple of fans through the window also haha 😁

12/08/25 - 3.54pm Was driving in Manchester and a GGI van cut in front us nearly causing a collision. The driver of the van was verbally abusive, crude hand gestures, extremely rude and confrontational - Mr Angry! Complete over reaction, and not sensible when driving a sign written van. Certainly not something you would want to promote for your company, would not offer them any jobs or work on the basis of this encounter!

Please feel reassured that you will get a professional job done, I feel very lucky that they contacted me, I got both flat roofs replaced, under the grant scheme and therefore didn’t cost me anything, the lads were all really polite, worked fast and cleaned up after themselves too! Thank you to everyone, I’m very happy with the whole service.

All The work they did from Loft to Electrics was top notch, Every worker explained what they was doing and what we needed to do even had laugh and joke while they worked . I would Recommend ggi to anyone Friends and Family 10/10 rating .

We are exceptionally pleased with the work that has been carried out by Callum's team! Professional team with a true work ethic - they worked tirelessly to get the works completed in a swift amount of time and to a high standard. They also showed great respect to my elderly mother and that didn't go unnoticed. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to a reduction in energy bills too!

We went with green home grant installs what a load of cowboys. Not one of them know now to do a job my mums windows are still faulty sound of wind , holds appearing when the frame and one small window was put in upside down. They are rude and horrible to deal with. I’m just having to have Expert window people to sort there mess out and I will be putting in a claim for compensation through the government and asking them why this firm has been government approved when they can’t do a proper job and when they sent so call workmen out the do know what they are doing. They should be ashamed of them selfs. Every one off my mums window rooms have been damaged the frame plaster on the wall leading to drafts and having to re decorate. Horrible firm I would keep well clear if I was you :(((((((((

Awful company with nothing but empty promises, we had this work done through our landlord MSV and from start to finish it was a nightmare. The plasterers were decent but it quickly went downhill from there, the decorator ruined my whole house by not cutting in and wrong colour matches splashed paint all over my flooring. The front door was ordered as a template only with no letterbox or privacy glass and the management didn't care how things were left. I chased them for months before anything was even sorted and when it was this was half hearted. Be very careful if you agree to any work on your property because this company is a nightmare to deal with.

UPDATED REVIEW – 4★ After my initial review, I was contacted by a lovely gentleman named Ian who went out of his way to ensure the outstanding issues were resolved quickly and to a high standard. While the delays and lack of communication earlier on were frustrating — particularly around getting the correct ventilation fans installed and chasing remedial works — once they got involved, things moved swiftly. The insulation work (both loft and cavity wall) has been completed to a high standard and has made a noticeable difference to the warmth and comfort of my home. I appreciate that GGI eventually took responsibility and saw the work through properly. It’s just a shame it took persistence on my part to get there. That said, I’m now satisfied with the result and happy to update my review accordingly. Previous Review Very disappointing experience. GGI carried out insulation work at my property under the GBIS and another grant. While the insulation was completed, they caused damage to my ceiling and fencing in the process. Despite over three months of follow-ups and 10+ phone calls, they’ve failed to carry out the promised repairs. I even have written confirmation that they accepted responsibility — yet nothing has been done. Poor communication, no accountability. Would not recommend.

My Mum Helen had work done by Callum and his team. They were absolutely faultless, very hardworking and did not stop! They also left things exactly how they found them, which can’t be said for all! Would 100% have them back for any further work.

I live at the bottom of a small cul de sac where these guys have been working on all the houses around me . It could have been a nightmare but to be honest they were really informative and very respectful . It could have been a massive problem for me to get in and out of my house but it wasn’t .they were tidy and always asking if they could do anything to make it better for me . The work that they have carried out is a high standard .kinda jealous now . If I needed work doing on mine I’d deffo ask them

I could not be any happier with the work to my house, the staff was lovely, so polite, so helpful they could not do enough for you, they have gone above and beyond special thanks to Kieran who’s only 21 such a lovely, polite young man, everyday he asks is everything ok ? Do you need anything? And Michelle and Jordane so so lovely always making sure everything is good a pay rise is needed ☺️ will miss them when it’s all done.

Disgusting firm, Disgusting customer service, will report to trading standards

Arranged date for installation, I then got a call asking to see if could attend two days before , I accepted and changed my working week , on arrival was told couldn’t complete as hose wasn’t long enough and would have to attend on original date at 09:00 , original date arrived and no one showed up , I make contact and excuse was they went to wrong address and couldn’t find my house . This after attending on the previous day wher could not complete due to wrong hose , Constant lies after lies . Two days off work , self employed so nothing back , avoid this shambles of a company , worst customer care I have ever experienced.

These guy have working in my house the past few days. The work is not compet yet, but I just had to right a review. Chris and his team, the plumber, electrician, and plaster's all have been amazing. All work done has been spot on. They cleaned every bit of mess up after they had finished. I would 100% highly recommend these guys. Thank you so much.

They completed some work at my house, including fixing two doors and adding insulation, collaborating with Mosscare. However, my experience with them over the past two months has been far from pleasant. The workers have shown a lack of professionalism. I've had to repeatedly follow up with them to address their incomplete tasks. They make grand promises and send whoever they choose, but in the end, they’ve damaged my burglar alarm, and it’s been over two months of trying to get them to repair it. I would strongly advise against hiring them. While they may represent a large company, their service has been incredibly unprofessional and frustrating with their false promises. Half of their worker doesn’t even know what to do and keep blaming each other . I don’t know why May be because of their low budget they keep choosing very low quality worker so they don’t really give Damn who is satisfied or not as long as big companies are paying them. In the meantime, tenant like us get affected I wouldn’t , recommend them at all, shake on mosscare for choosing this type of quality of service

Jordan and Ash and company have just completed a Stirling job at my mother's property. Full insulation and plastering completed to an excellent level. A friendly professional bunch of lads, no messing, no fuss and could not have been more courteous and worked very hard. My mother was very impressed and she dosent impress easily lol. Great wok guys 👍

I would highly recommend this company if I could rate them 10 stars I would but only shows 5 , the work they have done in my home and outside mine is brilliant they was straight onto the jobs , the wall insulation they put in i noticed the difference straight away and same with the solar panels ,very pleasant company and the workers and bosses are great always there if you needed to speak to them always cleaned after themselves and showed me the work to see if I am pleased with it . I would suggest if anyone needs any work doing these are the people to go , great job guys keep up the good work 👏 👍

Don't recommend at all. They caused so much damage. Broke kitchen and bathroom tiles, damaged bath, windowsills and tap. Damaged kitchen wall.They have been saying for over a month they will come fix it all then never show up every week

Absolute shoddy work,never taped anything up so when extraction was being done it all blew into my living room and damaged my tv, reported it got told someone will come round still waiting!!!!

A Absolutely shocking company. Been stringed along by this company regarding vouches for Green Homes Grant Scheme on the second to last day of my expire date they informed me they can't carry out the work required. They asked me to go along with forging the paper work required to get the vouches before they expire. Complete cowboys I've now lost my much needed government funding to make my home energy efficient
