I wanted to replace my flat roof comprising a garage and adjoining rooms that are attached to my house with an insulation system and decided on a warm deck solution. Lee came out fairly quickly to quote me a price and his team were quick to do the installation. The work had to be connected to a neighbouring property which had two different heights. The solution is very successful as is the gully required to run water away from my house wall. The finish is to a high standard. All work was carried out in a very tidy manner.
This is the second time we have used The Flat Roofing Company - first time as a refurbishment to the main house and this time on a new extension. Sam, Lee and the team were on point again. The roof looks great and they managed to work around tight deadlines at Christmas to get us water tight which was really important for us. We will be using them again if we have another flat roof!

The Flat Roofing Company replaced our flat roof (of a 14-unit, 3-storey, block of flats in central Bournemouth) in July 2023. From the initial assessment of the job, in person, by Sam Bridgeway to the warranty handover on job completion, everything was done professionally. I must compliment Sam on his excellent customer relationship skills; he was very responsive to email communication, polite and kept us informed of progress and any delays all along the way. He chose excellent scaffolders (Ricketts) and his team of men were equally courteous and friendly. The work was carried out to a high standard, and we were impressed with the finished appearance. Of course, only time will tell if the job lives up to its 20-year warranty, but it is looking good at the moment! We would thoroughly recommend this company to any block of flats looking for a similar flat roof replacement/refurbishment. Five companies were invited to bid for this work, but it is only the Flat Roofing Company that gave us the confidence to proceed. They even identified aspects of the work that was not picked up by other estimators, thus providing a more thorough job.
Was very happy with the service I received when I had a flat roof on my extension replaced. Sam was very straightforward to deal with and the work was done on time to a good standard with minimal mess.
After a pleasing initial contact, Sam made an appointment to assess the need in order to provide a quote. He failed to keep the appointment and has not responded to emails or voicemails. Simply disappeared.

They did an excellent job replacing a large but old felt roof with a modern membrane which comes with a 20 year guarantee. The workmen were very efficient and courteous, and cleaned up well afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend this company who are good at explaining the process and keeping you informed as the job goes along.

Sam and his team have just completed installing a new flat roof for us. His team were lovely. All on time, polite and courteous. They spent 2 days completing work as promised and left everything clean and tidy. The were quiet whilst working, no loud radios or swearing! Perfect for us as we were working from home. We now have a wonderful and watertight new roof that looks very smart.
After the previous flat roof installation wasn't constructed to regulations, had a leaking skylight, and was sagging/pooling - the property was certainly in need of some expertise to sort the problems out! Sam and his team managed to re-design the 4x flat roof areas with the required insulation and slopes to prevent pooling. The new skylight also makes a massive impact! The job wasn't without its challenges - but the team worked flawlessly to resolve every hurdle thrown at them. Highly recommended!
