Have used Manchester and Ashton Roofing on two occasions. Both times they have been quick to respond to my initial enquiry and to provide a quote. The work was done within a few days with photographs showing the completed works so I’ve been really happy with their service each time. Very happy to provide a strong recommendation and I will definitely use them again. 👏🏻

Tony runs a great company. He is very responsive and friendly and gets the work done quickly and on time. He's sorted out emergency problems with the roof as well as longer-term issues, and we've been delighted with both. Very trustworthy and reliable with decent prices - he comes highly recommended.

My rental property had issues with the gutter overflowing and causing damp. They responded to my email quickly and attended the property to fix. Would recommend and will use again.

I am a landlord and as a returning customer, I am happy about their service, they are honest, reliable and charge a fair price. Their quote always has pictures attached which means they have physically gone up to the roof and show you the problems, they always turn up once appointment is booked. The only bit point is sometimes you need to wait for a bit as they are very busy.

Had my flat roof replaced by this company. It’s now been 7 years and my roof is under 10 year warranty. I’ve called them out twice now as the roof is leaking but they are refusing to repair blaming it on a gutter. One of the guys who came out asked ‘what do you want us to do about it’. The other guys said ‘it’s been 7 years’. I found them rude and have been told my three other roof company’s that the roof hasn’t been properly laid to begin with hence the several leaks I’ve had over the years. If you cover your work with a 10 year guarantee, honour it. Won’t be using this company again. Comments after reply! I have had the gutter fixed and roof still leaking! To clarify, the 3 roofers came to see a different area of flat roof not the garage flat roof done by this company, so not sure how that makes anything null and void!

Arrived to quote unblock gutter and fix a leaking connection.price was agreed and paid in full .flashband was glue to the joint which looks ugly and it didn't hold the 1st time in it rained. Txt them and phoned them never got back to me. Good point he did track a loose slate back

had some work done at the beginning of the year for a leaking chimney, was capped and pointed to great standard with pictures at the start and the end. had a issue later with the chimney that they came out very quick and advised that everything was fine and it just needs a vent on the inside. top professional would fully recommend.

Look no further for a roofing company. These people are honest, reliable, friendly and efficient. Prices are very fair, they send your bill through the post so you can check work properly and if its to your satisfaction. Will definitely use them again for any other roof work. Had a full reroof Nov 2020. Very professional service, excellent communication and happy to explain things I didn't understand. Highly recommended. To my surprise, the site was left cleaner than when the job started.

Contacted the firm regarding a roof leak under the terms of their extensive guarantee. They could not have been more helpful or proactive. Within 24 hrs of notification the small problematic area had been repaired and leak sorted by friendly, helpful, professional staff. Now that’s 5 star service from a 5 star family owned and run firm. Can’t praise and thank them enough.

Had jobs done in the past , and we were very happy with the results . Did`nt have to wait long for the repair , and excellent service . And this applied again recently , and did not wait long for the work to be done , even in the bad weather we have had recently . Highly recommend , they`ve always gone that extra mile .

Recently used this company to get some work done on my Scout Hut roof. Visited and quoted quickly, really reasonable price, sent me before and after pictures and even called me to tell me that he couldn’t do what he’d originally planned so had to do it a different way instead - not that I’d have even been able to tell anyway, but I thought it was very good of him to explain it to me.

After contacting Manchester & Ashton Roofing to quote for a repair at the rear of my house they responded very quickly, also providing photos of the damage. As the quote was a reasonable one I gave them the go-ahead for the repair. This was done within a couple of working days, and the back garden/yard was left so clean and tidy I wasn't even aware that they had been. An invoice followed by email, again with photos so that I could see for myself that all work quoted for had been carried out to my satisfaction. Call this company first if roof work needs to be done, you won't be disappointed, they are quick and efficient, clean courteous and tidy, and charge a reasonable rate for a job well done. I am a very happy customer.

Very pleased with this firm's work. Called when they said they would, gave an honest and expert assessment and quoted a fair price. Weather held things up a bit but they kept me posted at all times. Chris and Joseph did the work quickly and efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. And I was sent photos of the work at all stages, from start to finish. I couldn't be more impressed and delighted. Very competitive quote received for soffits & fascias with new guttering etc. Work completed quickly and to a high standard. The site was left clean & tidy. Tony and his team were excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Had new gutters and work done to roof. Arrived on time, did a great job and left the work area clean and tidy. No hidden extras and before and after photos for record purposes. Attention to detail exceeded expectations even down to the use of coloured black mortar to point the ridge tiles and match with slate roof. Would definitely use again.

We had a leak in our kitchen, so I looked on Checkatrade and found Manchester and Ashton Roofing. I sent them an email requesting a quote and heard back from them within minutes. Anthony showed up the next morning for appraising the work and gave me a good price. He came back again a couple of days later and made the repairs. The work was quick and he was very clean. Best of all, no more kitchen leak! I will definitely use them for any roofing need I have in the future. Thanks guys!

I have had several occasions over the last year to have roof repairs and all have been done very quickly and at an extremely reasonable cost. My latest repair was done in ten minutes and they did not charge me at all! Cannot recommend highly enough!

I called to ask about getting chimney work done, fixing a possible leak on the roof and maybe installing a wood burner. I understand when tradesmen don't do the work we are looking for but the man who answered the phone was extremely rude. When I said that someone told us that we'd need a roofer to do the chimney work he snapped at me: 'who told you that'. Then 'why then didn't you have him do it'. Then 'we don't do that kind of work'. And basically hung up on me. Their website does say they do chimney repairs and give advice. Sometimes it's not clear who to call for certain jobs and he could've explained nicely! Very inappropriate and unprofessional. I would not trust him with any work or my money. There are nicer tradesmen out there.

Did an absolute wonderful job at a very reasonable price. Nice tradesman who took the trouble to show me the slates he'd taken off and explain what he'd done. Definitely would use them again

Woeful comprehension, ignores emails, functional but cosmetically extremely poor work, provided inaccurate work listing in estimate (or rather, didn't do what the estimate clearly stated), took a month of nagging every two days to ask for the itemised invoice I asked for before they started work only to be told finally that they don't do itemised invoices. Emails went unanswered, stated 30 days payment terms but after I hadn't paid in two weeks because I was still waiting for a proper invoice and a response on the cosmetic issues they threatened to trespass and remove the roofing materials. The list of faults is endless. I would never, ever, use these people again.
