Poor communication and work not carried out properly. “Fixed” my leaking chimney. Went through summer no problem due to no/minimal rain. Comes to autumn and noticed my chimney is leaking . Darren told me he’d come out, numerous messages , calls and voicemail and completely ghosted. Still showed as online on what’s app though. Had to get another company out to finish what they didn’t.

Darren and his team(especially Joe and Sam) showed all the qualities and conduct regarded as essential for the job they completed for me. Their knowledge, skills and capability of working well together was extremely satisfying. They organised everything including Skip and Scaffolding so I didn't have to do anything. We also had the Chimney Stacks removed front and back and the way they repaired next doors roof. You would never know the stacks had been there. I have NO hesitation in recommending them highly. Brilliant service from Darren and his team. Great communication via text to arrange and confirm the appointment, turned up on time (on a Sunday), did the job under difficult conditions - windy!, and at an excellent price. So pleased we recommended him to our neighbour and he fixed their chimney problem there and then! Thanks lads!

We had a problem with a leak, called Darren that showed up the day after with 4 more people and told us where the problem was. He also told us he would get in touch at the beginning of the week and let us know when he would be able to come. We waited for the weekend, then tried to get in touch with me but he didn't replied back to the my messages, nor answered the calls. So, my wife called him with her number, five minutes after I had called him, and he picked up, sounding a bit surprised. He told me he woul let me know, but of course ghosted me again. I understand they may be busy, but I would have appreciated being simply told "Sorry, mate, I cannot do it right now".

Really helpful phone advice

I rarely write reviews but Darren deserves one. Overall, I am very fussy about who works on my house - I would highly recommend Darren to anyone and will do to all the people on my street. Friendly, open, honest, hard working. Explained what needed doing and sorted it very easily. You want a great roofer you can trust - use these guys.

we had a full reroof felt batons tiles the lot d&m delt with it professionally turned up on time every day worked through bad weather communicated well never asked for any money up front removed all the debris treated the property with respect and most of all done an excellent job we couldn't recomend them highly enough But on the flip side when I got a problem a few years down the line phoned him up he said he would come and sort it out he didn’t turn up couldn’t get hold of him not answering his phone feel cheated and really let down the problem has been solved turned out the job wasn’t done properly in the first place

Quick response. Attended same evening to a last minute request and even went out of the way to clear the neighbour's gutter. Very friendly & good quality.

Darren and his team came out and helped us on an emergency call at the crack of dawn and were with us within the hour when we really needed the help. They got on to our roof despite the heavy rain and fixed the issue without any hesitation and at a very reasonable price. Struggling to understand some of the good reviews, especially related to professional curtesy. Contacted company regarding roof repair needed and tried to book provisional appointment. Man asked me to text details and availability which I did. Following this it was an endless chasing for the next 3 weeks, being told that he would come on a certain date but that I should confirm with him the night before. When I tried, it was either, ‘let’s reschedule cause the day after is better for me’ or complete silence and not turning up as promised. Complete waste of time and unprofessional I am afraid, unless they think it is going to be a big job that they fancy?

They did roofing work to fix leak but still leaking try contact them again they told me they are bankrupt not recommended

Got in touch with Darren after being let down by another firm. Darren is very knowledgeable and sorted everything without a problem at a reasonable price. Couldn’t recommend his services enough.

Darren was very responsive when I called to arrange the work. He organised for Tom to repair the gutter, who turned up on time and sorted the problem. It was difficult access to the roof over a conservatory but he found a way to complete the works. Much appreciated and highly recommended on price and customer service.

I use DM roofing for 2nd time and would have say that they did a good job and 100% u can trust on their work, although depending on their busy work schedule and the day of the work, if u have small job, then I would suggest you to wait to get reply from DM roofing. I wrote 1st time when they repair back in July (job Excellent work, and reasonable price, had roof leakage and realized when heavy downpour rain that day as most of us do, even Darren was bit busy that day, went to late evening for inspection and notify the problems sorted out, definitely recommend him to others, thank you so much for your good work).

Very quick response to come 5 mins and charge us to put bad silicone in the gutter and not checking whether it worked or not. After leaking the next day, we tried 4 times to contact then to come and fix what they were meant to fix in the first place. Update: It does not let me reply to your response. You did the job in my house but under my boyfriend's name.

We had 3 different roofers quote us on our leaking roof, DM roofers seemed the most knowledgeable and if I'm honest the Gent was extremely polite which convinced me to accept his quote over the other 2. I was told that they had a back log of work for 3 weeks, we said this was ok and booked in the date. One week before I messaged DM roofers and for the first time didn't recieve a reply. 4 phone calls and 3 text messages later still no reply. So now I'm back to the drawing board, very disappointed and for obvious reasons I wouldn't reccommend. (I would like to add that I'm the first to add positive reviews but this has slowed down my house renovations and it's extremely unprofessional)

Darren was very patient and responsive and quickly identified the source of our leak. He took clear videos whilst he was on the roof and clearly explained the issues with our brickwork and the best next steps for rectifying them. Definitely recommended and will use again.

Top quality roofer. Came out during lockdown to fix two leaking chimneys. Arranged scaffolding for me. (other roofers wanted me to organise) He was about 300 cheaper than other quotes I recieved. Turned up on time. Was impressed by his work so called him out to fix another leak around a window. Because my house was so tall I had to again get scaffolding put up. It was a small job that needed doing (sealing around top floor window) but would turn expensive only because of need to put scaffolding to reach it. He felt bad and gave a discount on his work. Top quality roofer, professional and arrives on time. Can't fault him. I'm 100% going to be using him in future when I get my whole roof replaced.

Contacted DM Roofing after a major leak through our bay roof. They were onsite quickly and surveyed the entire roof taking photos and video. We had the full bay roof redone using GRP, and the front elevation re-slated. New membrane and battens. The quality of the work is superb. Old school tradesmen who do not cut corners. Photos were taken at the end of each day to detail progress. Clean and tidy, incredibly thorough, very high attention to detail and above all else genuinely nice guys. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Overall could not be happier with how the job went.

We had a leak which we thought was coming from a good window.Darren was the only person who came to have a look and actually went up a ladder to look at the problem.He discovered a couple of cracks in the lead valley and thought that was most likely cause. We booked a time for him to come back and do the job.He was an excellent communicator and came exactly as planned. He not only fixed the problem but he also replaced two slates on the opposite elevation. I can highly recommend Darren and his team and will certainly be using him again if we have any roofing problems.

Darren did a great job on a complete new roof a couple of years ago and a recent repair (following an aerial falling off the chimney and damaging some tiles). Always cheerful, helpful and reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any roof related jobs!

Darren came to replace the felt, battons and damaged slates on my roof recently. From the first conversation Darren was honest about the work that needed doing and clearly explained what would be involved. He even took the time to video the roof, which no other rroofer had thought to do. The quote was competitve and i was reassured by the previous reviews of his work. He worked hard to get the scaffolding up at convenient times for me and was very accomodating to when I would be available. Im very happy with the work itself, and found Darren to be polite, professional and on more than one occasion go out of his way to help me as well as mother who happened to be visiting - way above what I was expecting and really impressed. Cant recommend him highly enough - well deserved the 5 stars!

Darren was able to come round same day to inspect an issue with a leak from the roof. He quickly identified the problem and was able to carry out the necessary repairs the next day. I then used him for another job to clear out and repair a blocked down pipe. Great service.

Had a full reroof and GRP garage roof undertaken by D M Roofing. Very poor customer service. Darren has put the phone down on me when I asked why he hasn't rung to say when he is coming. Seems to think it is odd for the client to want to be at home when he does the work. Seems very good when giving a quote, but hasn't turned up to do the work. I accept that work is weather dependent, but letting people know when you are coming is not.

First class job at a very competitive price. We'd had 2 previous roofers look at it and "fix" it but they didn't find the actual problem, so it continued to leak. Darren of DMRoofing spotted it straight away, explained what the issue was and sorted it quickly. A big thank you for an excellent job done properly and professionally.
