Newman Roofing Services

Liaised with John who came over the next day to have a look and give me a quote. He was extremely helpful and followed up with a quote shortly after. Definitely seem reliable!

Excellent work. They worked very hard and did not stop. Would recommend.

I used Newman to fix a small issue with my gutter. The process was quick easy and hassle-free and I would not hesitate to use again for other roofing jobs. Thanks all!

After having a couple of no shows from other roofers, pleased to have found Newman Roofing Services. John came round to view a few days after first contact and arranged for some relatively small but necessary work ( chimney flaunching, missing render/pointing and removal of weeds that we’re starting to take hold). Clear quotes and straightforward payment made for an easy experience.

Very responsive and flexible to come out to inspect our flat roof.

John and his team have completed the works professionally with no mess within short duration of time. Impressed by the quality of the work carried out by both pairs of staff who carried out the work and also the care taken to minimise any damage to house surrounds.
They were also well mannered and kept us informed on the progress of the work. I am very pleased with the tiling for our dormer loft conversion.

The team replaced the roof over the kitchen for a great price. The works were excellent, completed on time, the guys were professional and cleaned up afterwards Couldn’t ask for more!! Would definitely recommend them - thank you again!!!

John and his team completed replacing our flat room. They were very tidy with the work they done. very thorough and friendly. Now our ceiling is no longer leaking. Thank you.

Had my entire roof done by Newmans Roofing Services and they did a fantastic job. The quality of work was excellent and the team were professional, friendly, and easy to deal with. Really happy with the results – highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable and skilled roofers.

Needed a full roof replacement and chose John and his team based on a a friends recommendation. So glad we did! They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. John explained everything clearly, the quote was fair, and there were no hidden surprises. The team arrived on time every day, worked incredibly efficiently, and were really professional and courteous. They took care to protect our property and left the site spotless afterwards. The quality of the work is top-notch, our new roof looks amazing, and more importantly it now does not have a single leak in it. Can't recommend John and his fantastic team highly enough!

This company tries to do the work as cheaply as possible. I signed a contract with John Newman stating that all the rafters and battens would be replaced with new ones, then found that most of the wooden structure was left as it was, only a few were changed. The excuse was that they were in a good state. Then he had the gull to ask for the full amount, which of course he did'nt get. Untrustworthy company, beware of false promises.

Newman Roofing did a good job fixing ends maintaining our roofing needs. Like communicated with us effectively answering any questions we had regarding the work they were carrying out and advising us on appropriate measures to take when decisions needed to be made. They completed the work in a timely and efficient manner while making sure they cleaned up after themselves.

John was very prompt in visiting to assess the job and offered a competitive quote. The roofers were reliable, professional and worked around the constant wet weather. I can happily recommend - consider yourself lucky if John Newman is available to fix your roof.

John and his apprentice did a great job with unblocking and fixing our gutter/drain pipe. Worked quickly and efficiently, with great communication. Will definitely use them again.

John and his team did a great job on our roof. And he was also quick to respond to any queries I had.

John was very communicative during the quotation stage, so much more than other roofers! Although I didn't go with his services I had a great experience with him.

We'd had some major leaks in our office building. John attended site promptly and got a quote to us quickly. The cost was very competitive and John was able to schedule in a start date in a timely manner. He was very friendly, communicative and polite and easy to speak to. When my Manager raised some H&S concerns as soon as I explained the situation John made arrangements to get things rectified straight away so the works weren't delayed unnecessarily. Our roof is now repaired and even though we've had some torrential rain recently we're still watertight so a job well done!

Cannot recommend this company enough. Super professional, polite, friendly and honest roofers - what a change! They explained all the work they were doing, the process, the timeline and sent lots of pictures. Left the place very tidy and very conscious of us (and our small baby) as they conducted the work. They were the fourth company we’d contracted to fix a leak in our roof and the only one who actually fixed it. Also just very pleasant people. Thanks a lot.

Met with John from Newman roofing and they provided a competitive quote for the work and they carried it out to a very good standard. I was well pleased with the job and would recommend them without a shadow of a doubt.

John did a good job refelting a section of my roof. Work was done quickly and at a reasonable cost, John explained in detail what he did and recommended further work over time to ensure potential problems were avoided. Any concerns I had, he dealt with quickly. I would recommend him in the future.

Really great service, honest and plain speaking. Will definitely use again in the future!

Professional, reliable and always ready to accommodate jobs at short notice. John and his team fixed the issues in the garage roof and guttering around the main house.

I was very happy with John and his team's work. They came extremely quickly to assess the job and then returned the following week to squirrel proof the eaves of my house after an invasion of them. They also spotted broken ridge tiles and loose and missing cement on the roof and showed me photos of what needed repairing. They were polite and efficient and John was great at communication - I would highly recommend them.

John was really helpful and happy to explain the work required and answer any questions. As it was not possible to see the damage from the ground, he shared photos from before and after which was great. He was also really good at communicating and letting me know when the work would be carried out. I think he takes a lot of pride in the work he does. I would recommend using John and his team.

Good service. Took a little while for the booking to be fulfilled but very pleased with the results.

Highly recommend John and his team. They repaired two leaks originating from an old damaged flat roof and a crack in the wall. They completed the work in one day. John’s great at keeping clients up to date with progress, transparent about costs and reassuring about the state of our roof. He’s also very friendly and respectful of client’s space and requirements. Will definitely use them again for future roofing needs.

Newman Roofing Service did a great job repairing our felt holes under tiles and fixing cracks with new membrane to our flat roof, top job right from first call and quote through to completing the work. John was honest, clear and explained the problems on our first call. They turned up on time and kept us up to date throughout the job confirming a few items and explaining plenty as went along. John and his colleague were good guys who delivered a superb job would recommend.

Amazing work done by these guys!!! Ver professional, friendly and very responsive!!!

John was friendly, and done exactly what he said he would. Work appears to be very good quality. Will use again!

I was very impressed by the work done by John from Newman Roofing Services. This is the second time I have used him and his work was upto my expectations. The pricing was reasonable. After finishing the work he left the place spotless. So all in all very happy with the work carried out by John. I will use him again If I need to. He is a very pleasant person which made it easy for me.

Great service, would recommend.

John was very good in keeping in touch & advising what work was required for my mum's roof. My mum is 89 & John was vey considerate & respectful of her. Very pleased overall with the service received.

Needed a lead detail repairing - John was on-time and provided a quality repair at a good price. Would use again.

John did a great job of repointing the chimney and replacing a broken ridge tile. Very pleased.

That were very helpful and polite and the only reason they didn’t get the job was due to pricing

John and team are meticulous workers, giving due time and attention to fault finding, root cause analysis and prep work. They communicate well with the client and have a very nice manner as they do their work, looking always for feedback to improve their service offering. It's a pleasure to find a team of young roofers bringing these skills and professional values and attitudes into their business.

John came out to review our roof very quickly. He was very thorough, friendly, helped explain all the issues and presented us with a few options. His price was very fair and we would have happily proceeded with Newman Roofing however we went elsewhere because they were available slightly quicker (because we were going on holiday, so wanted it done asap).

Very pleasant people, came instantly, did a good job for the quote supplied and cleaned up afterwards

Great service. Job was delivered on time and at the agreed price and all my questions were answered. Would recommend!

Lovely and personable people that came and finally fixed a long standing roof leak. (after many cowboy builders!!) Thank you John!

Newman Roofing fixed my leak, would highly recommend!

John from Newman Roofing was excellent, friendly and very professional and kept me informed throughout the entire process. And I will use again and have no reservation recommending their services to anyone. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing service and can't fault them at all. Explained the issue, was clear with the pricing and was more than happy to help, despite it being a relatively small job.

I wanted an assessment of a very old roof and running repairs as part of the house sale process. I was really pleased to get such fair advice. I was encouraged to focus the work on specific problem-solving and not do unnecessary things. The roof will last longer now and I feel confident about discussing its condition with buyers.

Newman Roofing Services carried out a survey of our roof and identified repairs, some urgent, to both roof and chimney. These included valley and tile replacement, roofing felt repairs and repointing the chimney. From quote to completion, the work has been carried out in an efficient and competent way. John was very polite and helpful and explained each repair, and on completion provided photographs. All areas were left clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to have John working on our property, and look forward to calling in Newman Roofing again when necessary.

Used Newman Roofing to deal with a fallen ridge tile following storm damage. They gave me a prompt quote which I accepted and they completed the job speedily and effectively. They sent me photos of the work completed. I have since used them for a second job which I thought was a reasonable price. I would use them again - their communication with me as the customer was very good and I felt well informed about the progress of the job and was pleased with the result. I would recommend them to others who want a roofing company.

Newman Roofing responded quickly to provide a roof repair due to damaged roof tiles. They were easy to deal with and always returned my calls. I would definitely use them again.

Friendly and professional, Newman Roofing came out to inspect our chimney stacks which we believed to be the source of a leak in the upper floor space. With no loft space they quickly decided course of action and initial repairs, giving us full and detailed explanations throughout. Highly skilled and qualified staff. We would now not use anyone else for any roofing repairs/damage should we need to. No nonsense, good value. Highly recommend.

Newman roofing have done a series of roof leak repairs; replaced some fascias and soffits plus guttering; replaced leading around the chimney and carried out some repair work on our dorma windows. They have also arranged for a new front door to be fitted and an area of our garden to be cleared and covered in pebbles. All the work by both them and the sub-contractors has been done well with the original quotes being the final price. The property was left clean and tidy after they'd finished each job. Will definitely use them again.

They were recommended to me, found them to be really polite and told me honestly what needed doing, and after quoting I felt very confident I'd made the right decision to go with them, they kept me informed throughout, did the work on the date agreed and I feel really happy with the level of service I received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, plus my dog absolutely adored them! Thank you john and Mr Newman 👍
