LM roofing - Colchester, England

Fantastic service would highly recommend

Had a garage roof repaired and replaced by LM Roofing on the 27 May 2026 excellent workmanship and price highly recommended

Contacted Leigh after a slate tile came off our roof. Replied within a couple of minutes and came round to have a look in less than 30 minutes. Gave me a very reasonable price, returned the next morning in terrible weather to do the job. Great communication, very efficient, couldn't recommend him highly enough.

LM roofing have been excellent in repairing my leaking roof. They visited to quote and undertook the repair within a few days of me contacting them. Adam who undertook the repair was personable, professional and keen to ensure I understood what work he had undertaken. If you need repairs to your roof, I'd really recommend contacting LM roofing.

We’re absolutely delighted with the work Leigh and his team did on our slate roof. After discovering a new leak in our roof, we decided it was time to replace our slate roof and contacted Leigh. He came out promptly to assess the situation, provided a clear quote, and arranged the work as quickly as could reasonably be expected, especially given it was over the Christmas period. Within around a week, the scaffolding was in place and the work had begun. The job was completed efficiently and within a good timeframe, even with challenging weather conditions, including snow. The team worked consistently and professionally throughout. The standard of workmanship is very good, the roof looks great, and the site was kept tidy. Communication was clear throughout the process, which made everything run smoothly. Overall, we’re very pleased with the service provided and would recommend Leigh and his company to anyone looking for reliable roofing work carried out to a good standard.

Good service and prompt. They replaced 4 slipped slates and stopped a gutter leaking. I would recommend them.

Fantastic services cannot fault. Had a leak we noticed on the Sunday. Leigh came and diagnosed on the Wednesday (earliest day we could do) and his team fixed it on the Thursday. No hassle, very assuring excellent service

This is the second job Leigh has done for us. Removed plant from chimney and made good. Responsive and reasonably priced as before.

I had a problem with some missing tiles and mortar on the roof of my house that is being sold. This was found on the survey report. Leigh came out and fixed this within 24hrs! Super professional and very reasonable.

Leigh and his team did a great job. Fixed the damaged roof within 48 hours of giving me the appraisal. Great job. Thanks guys!

Leigh and his team were amazing this weekend in the strong wind and rain when we had a leak in our roof which came through into our bedroom. We had been recommended and used him before and were really pleased so didn’t hesitate to contact him in this emergency. Despite being on holiday in France, he arranged a member of his team to come out and do a temporary fix on the Sunday to stop the water coming through our loft and ceiling. Then with photos and messages gave us a quote and sent a very capable team on the Friday to do a full gully replacement including realigning tiles. The team were professional and we wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. Thanks guys-top job!

Avoid at all costs! Left my home soaking wet for 6 months! Water pouring into my extension and causing many issues! I have small children in the home as well! Tried to get it sorted by LM Roofing but was ignored eventually. Do not contact this company! Don't know how they sleep at night, leaving my house in such a mess! I have lost so much time and money...

Lee came and fixed my roof on my house and garage. I phoned him on the Thursday and it was completed on the Friday. A* would definitely use again

Highly recommend, quick communication and service. Price was also very reasonable and competitive. Would definitely use again

Super quick service ! Came round same day from enquiry to survey roof , gave estimate and all done within 7 days , over a weekend. Highly recommend.

Very efficient, very polite. Respectful. And reasonably priced. More than satisfied with the whole experience. Thank you, lads

Called Leigh for a small roof repair job. He was able to help. Fast friendly professional service. Would highly recommend carol. Colchester

I have had a very poor experience with LM Roofing. Leigh fitted plastic boards over the gable ends in November 24. Within a week one had blown off and broken into 4 pieces as no nails had been put into the mid section. After many messages and answered with "no problem" a roofer came to put the 4 broken pieces back in March!! I was told that I would have to buy a new piece. I got so fed up with the attitude that I replaced the board myself making sure that a professional job was carried out although at cost to myself it was worth it as the existing woodwork had seen over 3 months poor weather already. Very poor service.

Contacted Leigh for a small building project. Could not be happier with the construction, finish and price. Project turned out far better than I envisioned and the pace of work was impressive. Those who worked for him were courteous and efficient, tidied up after themselves each day and were professional tradesmen. Great job!

Leigh and his team replaced my garage flat roof at the weekend. After the initial call, Leigh came round quickly, gave his advice and provided a reasonable price. We arranged for the work to be completed at the weekend. Leigh and his team arrived promptly and immediately got to work. They all worked really hard and did a really good job. Would definitely recommend to others. Provide plenty of tea, one sugar!

Lee arrived on time, he explained what he was going to do, he did the installation, he explained to me what he had done, he got paid, all of us were happy. What more is there to say other than he was soaking wet and I wasn't. LM Roofing are on my 'great service provider' list.

Contacted LM Roofing about lead flashing that was leaking. They came out the following day to give a quote which was reasonable. The work was carried out the very next day. Excellent customer service. Clean and tidy.

We called this roofer in the morning for a quick job, and on his way to another site, he kindly stopped by and completed it without delay. Excellent customer service, efficient work, and very friendly! Highly recommend and now we are considering a new roof for next year.

Leigh was prompt, friendly and professional, taking photos to explain all the planned work. Once done, he went through new photos of all the completed work. Very happy.

I called LM Roofing after noticing a leak coming in behind my chimney stack. In the space of 48 hours the problem was inspected and rectified. Very reasonable fee too, would highly recommend.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Fantastic price and fantastic service. Keep up the good work.

Fabulous work and swift response. I had a severe roof leak on the extended bathroom during a storm. Lee visited the site on the same day I called him, explained the cause of the leak, and offered two repair plans to choose from. Lee helps me strip back addition refelt and batten fitted new bridges cemented chimney and made a valley for water to run away properly. Definitely will recommend LM Roofing to friends!

Very pleased with this firm; friendly and considerate, reliable and very professional. Had scaffolding erected on time a 2 roofs completely re-slated. Good value and highly recommended..

We had a couple of small bits of damage to our roof. Leigh came and quoted for us the same day we enquired, and the repair was carried out 2 days later. Impressed with how quick and easy LM Roofing were to deal with and with their professionalism. Would recommend.

Made a Web enquiry on a Monday, price agreed on the Tuesday and job done on the Thursday. Very helpful and very tidy.

Removed and capped chimney. Great work. Thanks

great job by leigh. sorting out a long standing issue with a bay window. quick, efficient and affordable. Laurence

Excellent service from Leigh at LM Roofing. Will use him again and would happily recommend to others, very responsive and quick.

Have had 3 lots of work completed by this company now. Excellent response time very cooperative and amenable. Work excellent. Would be first stop for any further work. Thank you to Leigh and team for all your help.

Used these guys about a week ago. I rang to get a quote having develloped a leak, they were very helpful. Did the survey and quote that afternoon and to my surprise said they could fit me in the following day. Great service, very good prices, can't fault them. Won't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Would highly recommend. Prompt reply to our request and the job was completed professionally and was good value for money.

I contacted LM because I had a small leak on the landing. Leigh came around and checked the roof we agreed to repair part of the ridge which was missing a lot mortar. Leigh was easy to talk to and patiently explained what he thought the problem was. One of his employee carried out the work on the ridge and apparently changed some roof tiles too. All went well. The leak seems resolved now. It was a bit expensive but I am satisfied with their work and the fact that they were polite and professional, they made the job stress free.

Came the day after the call to inspect, gave me a quote on the spot with photos of the roof to show me the issues. His team came the next day and did the work. Very prompt and professional.

Had lee & his team round to clear the moss from my roof, (live near a lot of trees). He explained they would be scraping off the moss not jet washing as this can damage your roof, when they were done, it was all cleared up & taken away, can’t recommend this company enough, highly professional, lovely guys, would only use these for any jobs I need doing

Lee came to replace the covering on our flat roof. Very easy to deal with and well priced.

Very quick response, polite and efficient. I had a minor repair made and roof spikes installed. I recommend this service.

Totally AVOID if you want a good job done. I had them round to fix a leaking roof which still leaked after they left. They didn't look inside the roof to see where the leak was coming from, just chose to work from the outside without any exploration. They left gaps between tiles and dry and crumbly cement mix which was falling out in places. After it rained it carried on leaking; they came back and replaced the work they did, but this time the leaks were worse and water ran down the inside walls. I got a different roofer who took twice as long for a little less money and took tiles right back and replaced underlay. And the reviews are mainly fake and bought. The reviewers typically give 5 star reviews across the country for the same type of roofing businesses.

Repaired the sagging roof on our porch. Really nice bunch of lads, super professional and did an amazing job repairing and replacing parts of it. 100% will use again should anything else ever need to be done. Many thanks again

Excellent response time. Competently performed. Would recommend.

Leigh and his team were polite, on time, and good value. Would use again

Lee and the team did an excellent job of fitting a velux window ahead of a loft conversion project. Lee was prompt in coming over to quote and kindly managed to arrange to fit in the job around the rest of the building work. Both him and his team were polite, friendly and tidy. I'd absolutely recommend Lee 👌

After a telephone call they visited the same day to evaluate the job then returned the next day to complete. Good service and price.

I really wanted to trust these people. But it seems it cannot be done. I did not have any leaks or anything but wanted to get flat felt replacement to avoid any real problems. Lee was there even earlier than what he said to give a quote - of course its all about money- They came, done the job in half a day ( was told it would take day and a half, which makes me wonder) But then I noticed that the gap he said should be have been closed between the gutter and roof is still open. He did say he was going to sort it out and he texted me it was sorted after they left. I cannot see sorting it would taking a long time either as it is trivial but he, himself said may cause issues further down the line I have been chasing him for over 2 months now, he keeps saying next week. I now know that they will do nothing about it, they will never show up as it does not involve money Which is unprofessional and slack I asked for a guarantee which I now know doesnt count for anything because they will never show up for anything ...and i amd NOT the only one who had this problem clearly I think I will go straight to trading standards and /or courts if I encounter further issues because they wont do nothing once they got your money. -----------------update----- no card found he said he would fix it before the job was given to them and who in their right mind shows up at peoples places completely unannouced...dont believe it

Excellent service. Leigh turned up when he said he would and did a light repair for us. We won't hesitate to use him for the thorough repair in the spring. Thank you

Lee came out as soon as he could and conducted an inspection and then a great repair of the the roof. He was extremely honest and reasonably priced. Many thanks and would highly recommend Lee.

Within hours of calling (on a Sunday), Leigh arrived to take a look at the damage. He was incredibly helpful and fixed the problem immediately. Would highly recommend!

Leigh and team visited this morning and replaced my flat roof. Very professional, took all rubbish away and easily dealt with a last minute change to the original plan. would highly recommend

Excellent service from LM Roofing - arrived on time and dealt with A guttering problem quickly and efficiently - would definitely use again - thanks

Really quick to respond to an enquiry online, and set a date and time. But didn't appear and even after quick message, just no response. Get that things can be forgotten but at least an acknowledgement would of been nice.

Very impressed with the quick and efficient service provided by LM Roofing. We had a leak around the chimney and the problem was quickly identified and fixed. I would definitely use LM Roofing again.

LM roofing have done multiple jobs for me including gutter repairs, roof repairs and chimney re-leading. Leigh provides excellent response times and service at competitive prices. I would recommend him highly.

Leigh was really responsive to messages visited within 48 hours of initial enquiry. Job done in under a week. Really please with the service! Leigh fitted vents and repaired a whole in the roof. Many thanks!

Had an emergency repair the day before and roof was still leaking. Made a call to Lee and he came down to look within 2 hours. Saw the problem and explained what the issue was, proposed a fix which I agreed with and charged a very reasonable price. Came down at 9.00 in the morning to fix. Superb service and highly recommended. If you need honest and reliable service try Lee first.

Roof repair required. Great communications before and after completing the work for me on the day promised. Would highly recommend.

Phoned LM Roofing to help out with what I thought was a slight leak from the roof of my rental property. He visited the house the very next morning and called me to advise that in fact there was no problem with the roof and was simply condensation. He even commented that the roof was in a good condition. When I asked him to invoice me for his time, he told me there was no charge. I'm very thankful to Leigh for helping me with this especially as I wasn't able to be there at the time. The tenant's said he was very professional. I've used other tradesmen recently and have been stung for large fees for doing the exact same. I would definitely recommend LM Roofing and will definitely be using them again should I need a roofer in the future. Thanks Leigh.

Noticed leak in our loft, prompt response ,immediate assessment, and quick repair arranged. Excellent service, very reasonably priced, will 100% use again. We were very impressed.

These guys are brilliant, really trustworthy, friendly and professional. Our flat roof had a leek, I had tried about 3 roofers before I came across Leigh, and none of them turned up to quote us! Leigh on the other hand was easy to contact and came round when agreed to give us a quote. He took pictures of the roof and explained what needed repairing and why. We then booked in to go ahead for repair and the date they said they would come they did which is great no mucking about with dates. Job was completed on time and as quoted :) I will be recommending Leigh to family and friends for future .

Highly recommend Lee with his professionalism and affordable price for repairing our roof. 100% genuine and we will definitely call him again for any future roof repairs😊

This was disastrous .We paid up for what we thought was a fixed roof. We asked Lee to come back and fix our leak which he didn’t. We were polite and asked for over 6 months….. We phoned, emailed . In the end we gave up and had to get someone else in. My advice is to check leaks still not occurring before you pay up. Better still don’t use this company.

Really helpful good price and easy to contact great job thanks

It was only a small job, but Lee responded to my enquiry almost immediately and fixed the problem the following day at a reasonable price. A very professional and efficient service, would definitely use again.

Amazing response only called him a couple of hours ago. He came out and repaired straight away. Very lovely man with professionalism. Highly recommend

Lost a roof slate in the recent gales. Was worried the job might be too small, but LM roofing came within 24 hours to fix it, which was on a Saturday. Excellent service.

prompt, very good and did what he said he would. Quick response, after storm. 2 days and all done. Highly recommend.

I phoned Lee on a Saturday morning, the day after a recent storm had damaged the roof of my house in Colchester. Despite being very busy, he repaired the roof on Sunday, at very reasonable cost. I don't think you could find a more helpful and efficient roofer anywhere.

I wont use anyone else now. The first job was sorting out a flat roof that had been leaking for a couple of years and the initial installer kept putting us off (the initial installer was NOT LM Roofing). I finally got Leigh round to do a new roof and it has not leaked at all since it was all done properly. Then after the very windy storm Eunice, Leigh came out straight away and sorted our problem tile on the other roof ..... I will not go elsewhere now....these are my "GO TO" company.

Eunice took some slates with her and LM responded really quickly, had a look during the storm and then came back this morning to repair. Very reasonable and excellent service!

After the terrible storm of Eunice who brought down my lead flashing and tiles from my roof, I found Leigh on Google search and gave him a call. He arrived within the hour to view the damage and arrived the following day to repair the damage. Great service would highly recommend.

Quick response to a leaking roof problem, found a temporary solution and, when the correct products were in stock, returned to replace broken tile and install two new vents Highly recommend and a nice chap too!

After contacting him about roof leakage very later evening, Leigh called me in the morning and turned up and got repairs done very quickly. Highly professional and reliable service.

We reached out needing help and had a call straight away and arrived the same day. Had a problem with a leak for months and LM Roofing sorted it within 10 minutes. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a reliable roofer that does a great job.

What a great service LM Roofing provide, they were very quick to respond to our problem and did a great job. I would throughly recommend them and they are now my go to guys for any roofing work

Called LM roofsto quote an undiagnosed leak. They popped round the next day, ladder up and had it fixed within 15 minutes. Blinding service, honest traders and I'll be calling them back in the future!

Absolutely brilliant. Had a leak coming in the ceiling last night, came out this morning and sorted it quickly. Really professional x

Very quick to respond to request to come and check loose roof tiles, sent a message late Friday night and was contacted 8am Saturday morning to arrange when was suitable to come and have a look. By lunchtime Saturday the roof was fully sorted so we were very happy with the service, communication and professionalism received. Would definitely recommend and will use again if we ever need any other roof work doing.

We noticed our chimney pot was leaning heavily to one side after a bout of heavy winds. It looked like it could potentially fall and cause a lot of damage. We contacted LM Roofing and they managed to come out same day and rectify the issue. Great service at a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend
