Having changed my WiFi , I then set about changing everything but came to a halt with my give energy system. The first phone call was to Alan it was nearing the end of the working week but he did try to help me and to send photos of the offending units this was then taken up by Alicia who passed on all the information to help me to get back on line but unfortunately I have 2 internal dongles so rang Alicia again and she contacted an engineer who went online and said it’s a bit involved so we made an appointment and the entered Gareth who arrived on time and he obviously knows his stuff as 10 minutes later both dongles are up and running, my app is working as it should. Gareth & the team worked efficiently and tidily, completing the job in a day and a half. Nothing was too much trouble for Gareth and he was very patient when explaining the technology and helping with online registration etc. Thanks to all the team on site and in the office.

Just had an EV charge point fitted, couldn't be happier, very professional from start to finish, and the lads who turned up, were extremely helpful, Luke one was called couldn't have done enough, helped me set up the App and went though everything with me. JM Renewables have just completed the installation of solar panels, battery storage, air source heat pump and ev charger at our home. Workmanship was excellent. The team that installed the equipment were very polite, professional and always ensured the areas left clean and tidy. Even when they had an issue with the heat pump, they kept me informed as to the action being taken with the manufacturer and arranged a replacement to be fitted. Overall cost was competitive against other local companies. Highly recommended.

I’m delighted to have chosen JM Renewable Solutions for the installation of my solar panels and battery. The whole team acted in a caring, professional manner, from the office staff who dealt with my enquiries to Dan who advised me throughout the whole project. Ewan and his colleagues who fitted the panels were helpful and efficient, cheerfully coping with the challenges of a granite wall. Greg the electrician, who spent the greatest length of time on site, was exceptionally pleasant, helpful and considerate. Amazing company. I obtained 3 quotes and they came out the cheapest by far! Communication from start to finish was great. Installers were polite and tidy. Total instalation was completed in just 2 days and haven't paid a penny in electric since they have been fitted. Highly recommend them and plan to use them again for EV charger next year.

I contacted JM Renewables about a faulty inverter with our install from 2017, I couldn't believe how quick they were to come out and sort the issue after such a long time since they first installed the system , JMRs after care is absolutely superb, it really shows how much they look after customers even after 8 years, a special thanks to Ben who dealt with this , I highly recommend this company in North Wales they are by far the industry leaders

The whole process from quote to final instalation was quick and efficient. The whole team were professional & knowledgeable and helped us decide on the right system for us. The electrician Gareth was great and took time to show us the app and to check in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly.

I made an enquiry about transferring two solar panels onto my garage roof as at 80 years of age, I don't feel confident about doing it myself. Daniel Miller replied almost by return and offered to send a colleague to do the job for me PRO BONO ( without cost ). I readily accepted the offer as to come accross a company with such a caring ethos nowadays is rare and I commend them to anyone seeking this companies business.

Luke and Mat turned up today to fit my EV charger who carried out an excellent job they kept us updated during the duration of the works throughout the day (Great communication) explained exactly how the EV charger works and the run the energy suppliers charges etc. Even carried out a thorough clean up job when finished. Great installation by JM Renewables. The team were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The work was quick, efficient and clean. All the contractors were considerate and left no mess. And now we have fantastic hot water and heating which doesn't cost the earth! The office team also excellent on quoting and advising on grants.

The team from JMRenewables were good from the start working through ideas and installed the system promptly on the days scheduled. I enquired about having an air source heat pump instaled on my property spoke to Sam over the phones he was very helpful and explained that I was eligibl for the boiler upgrade scheme so that was a plus. And once I had it installed the fitters were great and friendly. All I can say is thank you!

Contact J M Renewables with issue of Solis App not working after a new Moden was installed. I spent hours the day before going through all the information online to get the App up and running again without success. I contacted JM Renewables and had a full step by step guide sent by Alicia Oakley. Within 20 minutes we were able to access the Solis Solar App once more. They installed solar panels as requested (I did not want battery storage). They were very flexible on installation date and did the installation on the agreed date. The job was very neat and the panels are now generating as expected. I warmly recommend JM Renewables.

JM did a Givenergy install on our house recently. Both Dion and Gareth were very knowledgeable and answered all of my queries. It’s been a few weeks now and everything is working as it should. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

From start to finish the job was easy and explained in full. We had a new roof and solar panels with battery at the same time all done through JM Renewable solutions. The service from start to finish and coordinated by Daniel who kept us updated from start to finish. We had the inset solars and this was explained of the difference between the both. You would not notice that we had solars panels and people have passed comment on how well they look. Great to deal with a local company and would recommend these to anyone.

Just had a new installation of an air source heat pump at our house. From the first visit from Martin to survey and all the engineers that attended “rod,kirie,Ewan and Steve”, all the work has been carried out to a high standard. Very happy with all the pipe work and new radiators done by rod and kirie, and the electrical work that was done by Ewan and Steve. All the staff I have been dealing with over the phone have been very helpful as well with quick quotes and reasonable pricing. Will definitely be recommending JM renewables to others and I will be considering for using again in the future for solar.

I had 20 solar panels, a 10kwt battery and inverter plus air source heating installed by J M Renewable Solutions recently. I have to compliment the level of workmanship and professionalism delivered by the team. From the solar panel fitters to the plumbers to the electricians they all demonstrated high levels of expertise as well as being really nice individuals. I genuinely felt they cared about me the client and the service they provided. Administration has been flawless and I feel fortunate to have contracted this company. I recommend them highly.

Martin and his team came out last week to fix a problem we had with our heat pump. They worked over and beyond expectations and after a challenging few hours found the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend JM Renewable Solutions. Their work was excellent. Sheila the office manager was very professional on the phone and kept us updated of any questions we had. We have just had Gregg installing a Eddie water diverter for us since the one we had 10 years ago from JM had packed in. His work was meticulous and nothing was too much for him. And he and Matt just got on with it in a corteous manner until we were fully informed and job complete. Both were ver knowledgable and credit to your company.

What a fantastic experience and outcome! We approached JM Renewables back in March 2025 to quote for ASHP, PV and battery storage. Dan the project manager assigned worked with us to get just the system we were looking for. Quotes were comprehensive, detailed and even provided data sheets for the kit being installed. As part of the installation we needed our local transformer upgraded by the DNO. Again Dan handled requesting this. Unfortunately the DNO advised the upgrade would take 3 to 6 months to complete (totally out of JMs control). Fast forward to August 2025, DNO had advised when the upgraded would take place, so the work at our home was scheduled to begin! ASHP then PV post the transformer upgrade. Laura and Adam made the schedulling very very easy. The scheduled Monday arrived and Elliott and Alex were on site to start the ASHP. They both worked tirelessly and to a very high standard, all during what was the few very hot days we had this summer. Elliott faced 45 degrees C in the loft but worked on without complaint. The second week they were joined by Jack who also worked to a very high standard. After 2 weeks we had a new heating system! October came and Matt and Mark arrived to start the work on the roof and PV panels. The weather was appalling, it pretty much rained every day, and to make things worse for them we specified an in roof installation so a lot more work for them. Again they worked tirelessly and completed the work to a very high standard. Then it was Lukes turn to finish off the install of the inverter, gateway and batteries. All nicely installed, tidy and accurately. The whole team was fantastic, they got our humour, we're always polite, tidy, and courteous. I would not hesitate to use or recommend JM Renewables in the future. Thanks to you all.

Fantastic job completed by JM Renewables for Solar and Battery at my property. I'm glad I chose JM, can always get hold of someone on the phone and the aftercare has been second to none. Daniel in the office has been excellent and responsive around quoting and all the Green Homes Wales paperwork and getting everything sorted and booked in. Installers were excellent too, both Glyn and Rowan were ace, just cracked on with what needed to be done and were super friendly in the process, answered all of my (many!) questions. Luke the electrician was excellent, really knowledgeable about the system being installed. He also made sure any energy switch offs were around my meetings working from home and has been super responsive to any aftercare queries. We're so pleased we chose JM Renewables for this piece of work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring Solar and Battery installations.

I had a problem with my solar panels, contacted JM Renewable Solutions Ltd. Communications with this company was first class. Within 2 days I had a visit from their engineers who were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The problem was corrected within an hour and they fully explained what had been done. JM Renewable did a large PV installation with battery storage on my detached garage and it was linked to my house. They did an excellent job but I must give praise for the way they went above and beyond expectations in helping me sort out a problem with mains electricity supplier. In short the voltage from mains electricity distribution from the national grid was far too high and was causing problems with my PV installation which resulted in my system going into fault mode and not working properly. The electricity company were not interested in sorting out the issue, (apparently this is a national problem of an inadequate distribution network), and it was only with the assistance of JW Renewables that I managed to get Scottish Power to rectify the problem. Many thanks to JM Renewables.👍

After looking around for Solar panel installers and with very little knowledge of the market we found JM Renewables. We met with several other companies. Have to say from first meeting Dan to discuss our needs to the installation so far this company is excellent. This is only day 3 and the panels are working wonderfully so will update my review several months down the line. Special mention has to go to Simon who kept us informed during the install and Gareth the electrician worked with us to find the best location for the battery to look good on the house. Lots of people helped sorry to miss people out but all were fab, Ewan, Steve and probably more came. The place was left spotless even after the first day and honestly we are so happy. Every query in the early days was answered by Dan promptly and the site visit was re-assuring, absolutely no pressure selling. Have to end with a special mention to the scaffolding company sorry not sure of the name, thankfully they didn’t leave us with ugly scaffolding longer than absolutely necessary band for that we thank them.

Very disappointed with the whole set up from start to finish. I wish I had not bothered! I won an eco grant due to me having a chronic long term illness, I am also on a low income and losing my winter fuel allowance this year. I was so excited to get this but wish that I had never bothered. I might be a senior and unwell but I am not stupid just very exhausted stressed and disappointed. They are trying to improve and a couple of staff have been pleasant but the bigger picture is people like me are losing out on these and there are very rich people are gaining them from them. Watch this space......

The installation ran very smoothly, and everyone working on the installation did a professional job. Up and running after a week, and all pipe runs and cables are tidy and unobtrusive as are the pump and cylinder locations. Well done team JM Renewables! Well done team!

I recently contacted JM Renewables to assist with a failed air source heat pump unit. I can't thank the engineers and electrician enough...they were very thorough, knowledgeable and were able to clearly describe issues with our system and resolve them. The electrician fitted kit that had been redundant for nearly three years! Excellent company I would highly recommend.

We’ve had our Mitsubishi ecodan 14kw air source heat pump supplied, fitted and maintained by JM for the past 5 years. We had our first problem today with the underfloor heating losing pressure and loads of air bubbles. General error fault on the system. We rung them on the Thursday afternoon and Jeff came out on the Friday and sorted the problem. (The issue wasn’t actually anything to do with their installation either). Just generally a really good company to deal with. Sonia and Martin in the office arranged everything pronto and Jeff, the world’s nicest man, came out and worked his magic. Can’t recommend them enough.

Edit: Since the review below was published, JM have now visited and resolved all the issues and were very apologetic. These were all really very minor snagging issues in the end (the legionella cycle issue was only caused by a blown fuse of the wrong amperage) which just needed a couple of hours of engineer time to resolve and make a happy customer. It is a real shame that it took me to post a negative review to get a reaction, but hopefully a lesson has been learned. In general the system is a really good system, and works well, and the engineers are all good people and know their stuff. Just the processes for customer support obviously needed some improvement. Had a Mitsubishi air source system installed in March 2023. Various simple but still important teething issues reported including a non working Legionella cycle which is a health and safety issue and newly installed pipework not properly attached to the wall. JM Renewables seems to have no interest in responding or dealing with the issues despite several emails and phone calls over several months. Fortunately I have come up with work arounds to some of these myself. On the plus side the battery system they installed at the same time works well and they were the cheapest of 3 quotes for air source and battery. Come on guys, you can do better....don't just take the money and run.

I had a large domestic solar array with battery storage and EV charging port installed by JM Renewables. They were excellent from start to finish. All the jobs were done in a professional and courteous manner and on time. I wish to thank all the members of the team who worked on the project and a special mention to Daniel Miller(Senior Project estimator) who was prompt with email replies and clarified all my questions and doubts. I am very happy with the work done and have no hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly.

A good company to deal with. We had issues with our property that left us unable to have our panels fitted for over 12 months, our advisor Daniel from J.M. renewables was great and understood our issues and worked with us until the installation was complete. all 3 trades (scaffolders, fitters, electrician) were clean and efficient. we had an issue with the app so Daniel came to us and helped resolve the problem. All in all, a professional experience.

Overall excellent experience with this company for solar and battery storage at a reasonable price. The communication from Daniel was excellent throughout, the workmanship was completed to a high standard by a team who worked really hard and were very approachable. All of the documentation was completed in good time and allowed me to set up export within a week of install. I had an issue with the battery one evening shortly after install (not their fault) and they sent an engineer out by early afternoon the next day and got it working. So far I am delighted with the system overall.

Had a great guy come out to install our solar batteries he had an awkward job of it but he was very polite and professional did a really tidy job and never made me as a woman alone with a man I didn't know feel uncomfortable at all, was good with my kids and dog, I didn't get his name but he was great, a great asset to the company! he worked in Canol y dre Ruthin on the 8th &9th june 2023, would deffo reccomend!

Fabulous company. We had a crisis with our air source heat pump that's in our house in the middle of Eyri National Park and very few local people are able to deal with it as it's a specialist piece of kit. JM just stepped in and had an engineer there for us in super quick time and got the system back up and running. So grateful that they were happy to help. We were brushed off by so many other companies, I spent the whole morning on the phone, who just didn't want to travel to help us. These guys were amazing and went above and beyond to help us. They now have a new customer for yearly servicing and when we may need a new system in the future as well. Thank you

We are looking to make some upgrades to our existing PV system. We emailed the company and had a reply from Daniel, asking for photos. We sent them but heard nothing. A few days later we rang up to chase the enquiry; the receptionist said that Daniel was "just about to go out but would call us when he came back in", but he didn't. We emailed once more to ask if the company wanted our business or not - we received no reply, which says it all really. Very disappointing. EDIT: In response to the above review, the company did reply to us as can be seen. We did speak to them and they were very apologetic and would have then progressed with our request but by then we had accepted a quote from another company.

JM Renewables recently fitted solar panels and a battery to our property. Good communications throughout, with a great fitting crew. I would highly recommend them. The work was completed in 2 days. Our roof access wasn’t ideal. Having the job done in mid winter means we don’t know how well it’s working as yet, but we look forward to to seeing good returns from early spring when the sun gets a bit higher.

Despite the fact they seem to have done a good install they let themselves down in oh so many ways! I was to have a solar PV and battery system fitted but the battery ended up on back order. I decided to have the solar fitted first and the battery once it had been delivered. System fitted but only after a number of push backs on the fitment date all of which I had to ask if they were still coming as I’d heard nothing and fitment dates were getting close! Finally I got a firm fitment date and they arrived (hooray!) however they brought the wrong EV charger so we had to arrange another date for that!!! Workmanship seemed good but I had a hundred questions to ask as I’ve never had experience of solar panels in the past. The guys seemed either unable or unwilling to answer my first few questions even suggesting I read the instructions (there were none for the system just the internet hub box!), so I gave up asking any more questions, once installed I was basically left to my own devices to get on with it, was I asking too much for help and support? Setting up my feed in tariff was a nightmare (again I would have expected some basic info on how to do this!!) not helped by the fact I had to ask for paperwork I should have already been given! Right! the battery, remember it was on back order, this kept getting pushed back again and again and again (I understand there is a supply chain problem but again I had to contact them to find out what was going on?). Then eventually some time mid summer I received an e mail saying that battery isn’t available any more and that I could have a smaller one in the next few weeks or the latest (larger) replacement that wouldn’t be with the supplier until 22nd of august at the earliest and it would cost more. I went for the bigger battery option I’d waited this long so another couple of months wouldn’t make any difference!! I waited patiently not wanting to mither any more than I already had done! Then on the 28th of august I got an e mail saying they could fit the new battery on the 9th of September, I replied saying go ahead and keep me informed (expecting more push backs). I heard nothing, so today (the 9th) I got up early after getting to bed way after 0200 from work, cleared the garage and waited and waited, no sign! I rang JM Renewables to ask what time they would be arriving (with some trepidation) surprise surprise they weren’t coming because they are now awaiting a cable that’s on back order and not expected until the end of the month! I’ve given them two stars because the job they have done seems good (otherwise it would have been one!) However the ev charger they installed didn’t seem to be working correctly and when I contacted the manufacturer help line they were able to pinpoint a CT clamp had been fitted upside down! I have been asked by some friends and colleagues who fitted my system and I have been fair with my appraisal saying they did a good job (on the whole) but I wouldn’t recommend them because of all their other short comings!

If I could give 6 stars I would. These guys were brilliant at all points of contact: Initially, I had a series of swift replies to my enquiry and ensuing daft questions — others in the area literally ghost you from day one! The installation was then super swift too - for me the turn around was less than about 6 weeks, which is ace (Can't say what yours might be, they might be even busier!). Again, clear quotes, reasonable quotes too based on what (little) I saw from some others in the area, and in turn the workmanship and can-do attitude of their workforce has been encouraging and compels me to recommend JMRS to anyone. I've already referred a few folks, and wouldn't suggest messing about with others. For me the scaffolding went up in less than a few hours, the installation was essentially 1 working day (14 panels) and the quality of installation internally was top notch too. Can't thank these guys enough for helping me get one step closer to being off grid. Next up will be heat pumps or some such... I'm certain that JM will be able to help out with that when the time comes! Thanks to Dan, Steve, Alan, the scaffold lads (Sorry names escape me) and of course the SUN for providing the energy for years to come ;-P Cheers guys!

We found all staff to be well informed, friendly and helpful. All of our many questions were answered in a timely manner which enabled us to make informed decisions. Then look elsewhere... ## TLDNR Do your research - it's easy to find bad companies but sometimes bad companies don't come to the surface until you ask them for help and it's only then do you realise the mistake you made. Our mistake was choosing JM Renewables... ## Introduction This is our personal experience of paying JM Renewables to design, install and attempt to support a Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) at our new build. ### Initial contact 5/5 Contact was friendly, polite and eager to obtain our business. ### Design 4/5 The design process was quick and went through several iterations due to changing circumstances. ### Installation & Commissioning 2/5 1. Despite designing the system themselves with a clear architectural plan of the property in front of them, they still managed to bore two 2" holes through the wrong wall. These holes had to be filled in at a later date and the exterior wall re-rendered but the damage can still be seen. 2. Both the ASHP and the boiler had drain pipes fitted leading to an outside drain. However, the copper pipe from the boiler runs upwards, not downwards, so water will collect and freeze during the winter months leading to failure. 3. This is a two zone system, downstairs and upstairs, yet they only fitted one thermostat, which was fitted directly above a radiator!!! 4. Waste material left on site. ### Support 1/5 This is the main area of concern as their response time is glacial, bordering on non-existent and when they do reply it is far from satisfactory. 1. Reported a fault with the main panel rendering the system inoperable - many emails and phone calls later, simply to get their attention, they finally turned up to address the problem FIVE WEEKS LATER!!! 2. Reported issue where only one floor was being heated - the director of plumbing attended and suggested that an upstairs thermostat should be fitted and would get it arranged - why wasn't it fitted in the first place? He gave me his mobile number and said to call him anytime. After leaving many voice messages, sending countless text messages and even emailing JM Renewables, I have never heard back from him. 3. Considering that one of the main requirements of the system was that it could be controlled remotely, they eventually turned up one day to fit a non-compatible thermostat for the upstairs. It took the incompetent engineer a long time to install and did not inspire us with much confidence. The following day I contacted them with a detailed list of fault finding steps to help explain to them when the system works and when it does not....... 12 WEEKS LATER and the conclusion was "it was working when I left it" and "we're waiting for some new thermostats to be in stock" - we're still waiting. # Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) We were eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) where we would receive payments over a period of 7 years. JM Renewables applied on our behalf, which they're not supposed to do, and did so with incorrect information - this nullified our application and thus we have lost approximately £7k. ## Conclusion JM Renewables are more than happy to take your money; install an incomplete system causing property damage in the process; treat post-installation customer support queries as an annoyance and, for all intents and purposes, simply ignore. While waiting for their long overdue reply, we signed up directly with Mitsubishi for their "3 Diamond Maintenance Cover" plan. The following day, Mitsubishi serviced the system; diagnosed why the Mickey Mouse thermostat that JM Renewables fitted did not work (wasn't installed correctly); replaced the thermostat with the real thing. It was as simple as pick-up-the-phone, join the plan then open the door to them the following day - job done. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and in JM Renewables case, all we saw was tumbleweed and would highly recommend that you look elsewhere.

The company has been exemplary in the planning, costing and installation of the panels, battery and car charger. In the initial stages, Edward, my consultant, was endlessly patient in answering queries and anxieties from someone who, at that stage, hardly knew how solar power worked.Dan and the office staff were helpful in the same way and the installer was polite and efficient. I can recommend them highly.

Just had a 5kW solar panel system fitted. All sorted and fitted within a week. Very fast, efficient service. Daniel was the co-ordinator who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was always ready to answer a question and answered my emails promptly. The guys who fitted the panels were polite and efficient. No mess and a very neat job. They arrived at 9.15 and the job finished by 2pm! Got all paperwork through (certificates) within a few days. An excellent service that I would recommend.

JM Renewables installed solar panels at the beginning of February 2022. The scaffolding was put up very quickly a few days before. The installation of 12 panels only took a few hours to complete. The staff were polite, and kept things as clean and tidy as they could. All questions answered. As for the solar panels, they created about 150 kWh during the whole of February, which was more than I expected. So, I am very happy. Half-way through March, and they have already produced 150 kWh. I highly recommend this company for your solar installation.

JM Renewable Solutions Ltd are fabulous! Great communication from start to finish from Dan in the office and splendid over the phone and on site consultation with Ben and his 'can do' attitude. The electrician Joe and engineer Luke really knew what they were doing and were incredibly accomodating and professional. The team of guys doing the work on the roof were all absolutely lovely, so professional, friendly and courteous. Not only that, they were so hardworking, they really put a shift in and worked incredibly hard to get the job done in difficult weather conditions at times. Would highly recommend this company!

We are thrilled with our new system and the engineers went above and beyond to meet our needs . Nothing was too much trouble and the crew were friendly, respectful and very tidy .

From the initial meeting to them being fitted, the company was extremely professional, tidy and are excellent at what they do. I could not be happier with the workmanship. Thank you! Awful company and while we make allowances for the current UK wide situation, it is not good enough. We contacted them some time ago, well before any chance of bad weather, and looked to fit an air source heating system in our premises. It took three calls and hopes of an appointment to get a visit and hope of a quote, but eventually we did and a very pleasant young man turned up and took measurements and promised to produce a quote telling us it would take a few days to fit the system. Great, we thought, and I made it plain and simple that the money was there and waiting and we were ready to go ahead with the system as the year was marching on and we wanted it fitted and in before any chance of bad weather. Another couple of phone calls and promises of 'engineers' sorting out the quote, then.....nothing, nada, zip.....I don't mind waiting if there are issues, but a simple call or...something would be useful. We are now in the grip of frosts most mornings and plumetting temperatures, and still nothing, not a word, not an email, nothing, and now we need to be looking at fuel inefficient, wasteful and expensive heating sources. Don't they need the business? Are we too small a business to bother with? No idea, but I'd tell people NOT to use this bunch or as a last resort and don't take any notice of the glowing website. JM Renewables installed an Air Source Heat Pump & Solar panels at my house in Denbighshire, the installation team was incredible, the level of workmanship was to an extremely high standard. The PV Installation & Air source heat pump installation was all completed within a week, the engineers made no mess what so ever. The install has been in now for a year and my bills have come down by over 50%. The office staff were superb, the aftersales is also excellent, we had one issue 6 months later, an engineer from JM Renewables attended within 24 hours
