Very happy with our dealings with GES. From the outset Alan was always prompt with replies to our questions and after many quotes from both local and national companies , his proposal was the most appropriate. The whole team, both electrical and roofing were highly professional and a pleasure to deal with. The system ( 16 panels, FoxESS battery, inverter and EPS) has been in place and working for a month now, and has achieved 95% self sufficiency. I know that if we have any problems or questions in the future, Alan is only a phone call away and will be there for support. I'm not sure how easy that would be with a national company. I have no hesitation in recommending the whole team at GES to anyone looking for a similar installation.

We'd already had a couple of quotes for solar from some national providers and already had a good idea what we were asking for by the time we spoke with GE Solutions. Still, when Alan came over to complete the survey he did provide a couple of additional suggestions for us to consider, for example giving us the option to slightly oversize the inverter in case we want to add more panels to another roof at a later date. The quote was clearly laid out with potential savings over time and there was no pressure to sign straight away. We felt that the system cost was fair and are happy to be supporting a local company. On install day the team arrived on time and worked quickly to get the solar system installed. They installed neatly and cleaned up after themselves taking all the rubbish away. I asked, and there was also no issue with adding an extra cable from the inverter modbus connection, which they pulled in at the same time so that I could connect it to my home automation system. Thr paperwork to register the warranties, MCS certificate etc all came through a day or two later. Overall we're happy with the job and would happily recommend GE Solutions with Alan and the team for a solar install. Even on cloudy days, we're mostly self sufficient thanks to the panels and battery.

GE Solar did a fantastic job. From the start, they helped find a solution that worked best for solar production and aesthetics (2 strings with 2 inverters and trunking under a patio), unlike other providers who wanted to take a ‘one-size fits all’ approach. The team were great and managed to complete everything (scaffolding, install, testing) in one day, minimising disruption. Really pleased with the system, including the cabling which was really neat. Alan also took the time to run me through the system, app, etc following the install which was really helpful. Highly recommended!

Exceptional service from start to finish—highly recommend! I chose GE Solutions based on their excellent reviews, and they lived up to every single one. The entire process was seamless. Their online quoting system was fantastic—they didn't ask me to send pictures of the property, and they were honest enough not to place panels on the proposal where the sun wouldn’t reach. They provided a highly competitive and detailed proposal, and handled the DNO application immediately (which amazingly came back in just two days!). Alan and his team were fantastic from start to finish and we've got some rather gorgeous looking solar panels now powering our home. We were recommended GE Solutions by a neighbor after admiring their recent installation. Alan was extremely informative and helpful in our initial telecom and then spent a good amount of time giving us information and guidance when he popped around to do the initial consultation. We were booked in and within 2 weeks of initial contact now have 16 panels powering our home electricity supply. This included taking out and disposing of an original installation of hot water panels that were on our property, that were no longer serving our purposes. Alan has organised everything, from start to finish, and the service has been supported by efficient and effective administration. The whole team was lovely, polite, tidy and efficient. The quality of the work would definitely have passed even my dad's quality control - an excellent job all round, arrived at 8 am, everything finished by 6 pm on the same day! Significantly more cost effective and higher quality/standards than what we nearly went for through our electricity supplier - and we're supporting a local business in the process! After spending around 18 months speaking with solar companies across the West Midlands, I only wish I’d contacted GE Solutions sooner. Their pricing was just as competitive as anyone else I spoke to, but the service was genuinely outstanding. They sent a four-man team and completed the installation of 16 panels and a battery in a single day, with scaffolding all handled as well. Short version - amazing. Longer version - I'm very happy to recommend GE Solutions; they installed a 19 panel solar array split over 2 roofs with a fox inverter/battery for me in April 2026. We ended up choosing GE Solutions because their quote was competitively priced and tailored to our property. They also included the cost of scaffolding (so there were no extras). Once we'd decided to go ahead, we only had to wait just over a week for the installation (which felt fast!). On the installation day, everything was completed in time. I felt the quality of the workmanship was great - neat and tidy wiring, no mess left behind and they all gave me the impression of caring about the quality of their work and not just treating it like 'yet another job'. They're very much a family firm, and I liked that "Alan the sales guy in a suit" was also "Alan the electrician" who turned up with his team on the day to do the install. I'm glad I chose to use GE Solutions and didn't opt to go for a system from one of the nationwide brands; I feel we've had better service and will get better support.

Alan and his team fitted 18 solar panels, the Hinen A Hybrid All in One Series Stackable integrated system, and only in one day! Very knowledgeable and great customer service and support, keeping us updated with the initial steps and the aftercare/final paperwork that they have to undertake. It's very, very rare that I deal with any company and I'm not left feeling a little bit disappointed by certain aspects. GE electrical solutions are a rare breed ! I read the reviews before contacting them about my solar install. All were 5 star and now after having 28 panels on my roof, paired with a hybrid inverter and battery, including back up in the case of a Power cut, I can see why. Literally everything is thought of. There's no add-ons such as the back up or bird protection etc, as they are all included. Alan Graham the owner knows that for the system to run correctly then everything needed to make that happen, has to be included. My system was installed with 2 weeks of me replying to their quote, including the DNO application which Alan sorted for us. Btw, the quote was sent a month earlier and there were no annoying emails, sales calls during that period. They were the only company not to do so which we appreciated. The work completed was faultless. Everything was explained meticulously and all equipment insurances and building documents etc were completed by Alan. I've just had a teams meeting with Alan to go through the Fox ESS app. We now understand exactly how everything works. No stone is left unturned! The system installed is surpassing all expectations so far and I'm producing far more electric than I could ever use and it's the only March!

Really pleased with the help and advice from Alan and the team at GE Solutions, they were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and they have done a fantastic job on fitting everything. I’ve only had the system 10 days but I can already see the advantage of the solar panels and battery system. My electric bill has gone from around £50 a week to less than £15 and should be even less as the weather improves. If only every experience was a seamless, efficient, friendly and professional as my recent solar install with Graham Solar. The installation went far more smoothly than we expected and was completed professionally and with the minimum of inconvenience - the whole team worked exceptionally hard to complete the installation within 2 days. Alan not only explained in detail all the handover documentation (which included an app to monitor usage) but also completed all the paperwork from joining the grid through to completing the warranties. Can’t recommend Alan and his team from initial enquiry through to costing the site and finally the installation everything was superb, we did a lot of research and got many quotes from national and local and by far the best from price, specification and just that gut feeling you know your picking right and right we did, install was smooth, tidy and neat with regard cable runs and super quick after the install all the paperwork and reassurance you need for something I certainly knew very little about nothing was to much trouble. I’ve had fitted by Alan at GE solutions uk, solar panels, inverter & Batteries, from when I spoke with Alan and his team, then meet him, all my questions were answered there on the spot, no pressure on me to make my mind up, but after 3 or 4 quotes from other companies we chose GS Solutions uk, fitted two weeks after order confirmation, the fitting team 100%, perfect, I was told where all the kit was going to be installed , all fitted in a day, up and running, all paperwork you need all done perfect, if your thinking of solar panels and batteries, from my experience GS Solutions Uk would be hard to beat, nice people. Its been 9 months fitted now and the system is brilliant I’ve only paid £62 since the solar panels and battery system were fitted, my only regret is not having it installed sooner, so if your thinking of solar panels and battery’s give Alan a call and you won’t be disappointed, he knows what he’s talking about, just had another battery installed onto the same battery pack for my plugin hybrid vehicle.

We found GE Solutions UK Bromsgrove from looking at their CheckaTrade reviews which were very positive. We obtained quotes from several companies, and although GE Solutions wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive they were fantastic from the start. GE Solutions is a small business that clearly cares about their customers. We both worked full time and they were flexible, responding to us at times which best suited us. We had quotes come through quickly, and from promptly assessing our roof they told us that they were not prepared to install solar panels because our roof was on its way out. GE Solutions run by Alan, quickly gave us a quote to also replace our roof, and within the next two weeks we had both a new roof, new panels, battery and inverter and all had been very well explained to us. Between Alan and his contractors they were very well organised, we didn't have to wait for the stock and the approval from Natioal Grid was sorted in less than 5 days! The thing which we have been most impressed over is the support we have had even after everything is sorted; Alan and the team have always supported us with queries we've had since installation which we've found really helpful. After getting several quotes for solar and battery installations it became apparent that the other companies were simply trying to "match" the price quoted by GE solutions. Being a small local firm with full industry accreditations I felt they were more likely to give good service. From the first contact the company always gave a quick response to my questions and good support. There was no pressure selling, simply good advice and help. Once I gave the go ahead, the installation was done within days and the work completed in a day. The fitters arrived early on the arranged day and worked as a team to complete the work quickly, leaving the property as they had found it, clean and tidy. They worked amazingly and were finished by 4pm ! The installation is neat and tidy and has been faultless since fitment I have waited to comment to monitor performance which has been brilliant When the quote was done I suggested to Graham that the requested installation was not expected to make big short term gains as our monthly dd was only £70 and wanted to possibly extend to a battery at a later date . We spoke with a number of possible solar panel and battery installers before someone recommended GE Solutions. Alan was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful person we spoke to. He proposed a solution that met our requirements, and guided us through the approval process for selling back to the grid. The install was undertaken quickly, on the dates promised and the install team were professional and friendly. We now have an 18 panel 7.47Kw Solar Array & 20.16Kw Battery Solution, which allows us to generate solar power, sell back excess power and benefit from Economy 7 overnight pricing for any electricity purchased from the grid.

I am extremely happy with the installation of the Battery Storage system that was added onto the existing solar PV system. The installation was carried out in a very professional and timely manner. This past week has been nice and sunny, therefore the solar PV has powered my home and recharged the battery storage, and then the battery storage has powered my home through the night, therefore no power taken from the grid supply.

I will give GE Solutions 5 Stars because:- After I took the plunge in late 2020 I initially got my Battery back-up from an installer in Essex, However when I got no after sales service from them I turned to the Battery Maker UK Support who connected me up with GE Solutions UK. It turned out I needed a complete battery replacement because of firmware problems, GE Solutions stepped in and sent me (under warranty) replacements and sorted me out with all the support I needed. I went on to buy 3 more batteries from GE Solutions and my system at 13kWh performs perfectly. Without any bull Alan bent over backwards to help me even though I was not initially his customer. What motivates someone to go that extra mile other than plain honesty.

If you've made your mind up to buy an Energy Storage System (ESS) I have no hesitation in recommending Alan & his team for the Supply, Install & Service. Alan's communication was first rate, there was pride in how the installation was done (seeking advice on everything that was cosmetic), & time from order to install was fantastically quick (including receipt of all warranties & new circuit certifications). After having been let down by two other suppliers once deposits had been placed, Alan came to my rescue & I am over the moon with my purchase. I had an existing 2.5kW PV array on an 8yo FIT tariff & now have 10.8kWh of battery storage storing any excess solar & also charging overnight with cheaper off-peak electricity using the Octopus Go Tariff.
