Mercer Electrical Services

Dave installed 5 EV charge points (with 2 sockets each) at First Grade International Ltd (Bromsgrove) as part of the government's EV charge grant scheme. From start to finish Dave was brilliant, coming in multiple times to discuss options, plans of action and to check the building could accept the chargers. When we had a small issue configuring the chargers, Dave was back on site within the day and helped sort the whole thing. Throughly recommend Dave and Mercer Electrical Services!. Very friendly, experienced and total expert!

Excellent service and communication. I needed a replacement light switch and it was sorted the same day! A very friendly and helpful company.

Great service and honest feedback We are glad to have David to help us with the electrical issues we had

Highly recommend Dave! We had a specific need and a tight window of time to get the work done. Dave arranged everything and completed the job at a high level of quality. Super friendly, an expert, and will definitely be adding him to my list of go to electricians. Trustworthy and reliable!

Quick response, explained everything that needed doing and a fair price as well. Definitely recommend!!

Dave was brilliant throughout in what wasn’t a straightforward kitchen project! We have worked with multiple electricians in the past and Dave has been by far the best. Very knowledgeable and flexible and 100% would recommend!

Dave responded very quickly to enquiry for work to be completed. When Dave attended he carried out the work replacing interior and exterior lighting, replaced a broken socket and replaced a switch to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Dave for electrical work required. Bill Murray

Called with an issue with lights not working (due to trying to change a light fitting) and within 24 hours, he was round to assist. Really polite and professional and fixed the issue efficiently. Would not hesitate to contact Mercer again next time I have an electrical issue

Reliable, professional, trustworthy, very friendly and explains complex work in an easy to understand way. Done several jobs for us and always goes above and beyond. Would recommend.

Spoke to MULTIPLE electricians about hooking up my garage so it's ready for an EV charger with the potential for a battery and solar system. David showed up promptly to quote us and do the work and he had the work nearly completed before I'd even recieved the quote from others. He wasn't the cheapest, but the price was very fair and he returned to finish the remaining work quickly too. Work was completed to an excellent standard and we highly recommend. The photos don't show the tough work that went into putting the cables through the floorboards. We're very likely to use for future work too

Great service , price and quality workmanship from Dave . Initially asked for a car charger quote which was given very quickly and a good price . Install was high quality and prompt so we have since commissioned Dave for further work in the house tidying up previous installs from ‘diyers’ and spurious tradesmen . All of Dave’s work is excellent and nothing is too much trouble - we kept adding lots on while he was here ! I would highly recommend Dave for all electrical work .

I would highly recommend this company, Dave was very knowledgeable about our service we required, he advised on what we needed without being pushy, he was very punctual and a very clean worker. We asked for extra work which he accommodated within a week . I would not hesitate to have all future work carried out by this company.

Excellent professional customer service; kept me informed of work required and amended quotes to reflect the actual work carried out, which reduced the amount from the initial quote. Arrived on time and did a very thorough and tidy job. Only wish I found David sooner to repair my solar system.

Highly recommend this company. Professional, thorough, tidy, polite and excellent communications. Have completed a number of jobs for us and will have no hesitation in using Dave again.

I would highly recommend Dave, he was knowledgable, polite and delivered a high quality service. He installed an EV charger at ease due to his professional qualifications in this area and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a high quality electrician!

I reached out to Dave to help us after previous electrician who done full house rewire left it unsafe and with problems. Mercer services checked the house and spot all the problems and sorted it very quick and efficiently. Changed some sockets and switches, moved the light fittings, made sure all was working and correct and done other things I don't fully understand, but they seemed to know their stuff :D I will definitely go back to Dave and his team if I have any problems in the future. Dave and James have been very professional, but friendly and approachable. Everything they did was documented and communicated with me and explained if I had doubts. Left place clean and tidy and didn't mind my dogs getting in the way :) Both Dave and James have the attention to details that most of the tradesman I came across during house renovation was lacking. 100% recommend.

Have used Dave a few times. Reasonable pricing and good workmanship. Would recommend.

Have nothing but praise for this guy, friendly, polite, prompt, tidy worker, knows what he's doing, good price for the work involved, would have no hesitation in recommending Dave to anyone. Give him a call 📞

I am very happy to recommend Mercer Electrical Services. Dave is an absolute star and really nice guy as well as being professional and reliable. He was determined to identify and fix the fault on my elderly mother's heating and he did a great job.

Dave did an excellent job fitting our solar panel to our flat roof, some new external lights and cabling, and replacing an old consumer unit. He and his workmanship are professional, clean and tidy, approachable - a great guy to have on board.

Called Dave to help fix an Electric Shower, came out and diagnosed a faulty switch, replaced same day in next to no time, amazing service, his now our go to electrician!

After being left in the dark by a couple of tradespersons for a job that wasn’t a simple fix(electrical ventilation instillation in a residential flat) I found Dave. I’m pleased I did. Not only was he patient with my job request he quoted me quickly and the job was done swiftly. I can highly recommend and I’ll be using him again.

Had an issue where internal electrics kept tripping. Dave was available on the same day and arrived on time. Not an obvious problem to start and Dave spent many hours methodically testing our whole unit and sockets. Even had to come back the next day. Eventually found the problem and needed a replacement switch and adjustments to light fixtures. He explained everything, honest, hardworking and really nice guy to chat to. Very reasonable price considering how much of his time the job needed. Absolutely will use Dave again and would definitely recommend his services. Dave is new to the Bromsgrove area so please help Dave establish some business here, he's worth it! Thanks you for your time!

Dave is great, worked really hard to get the job completed and was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Thank you Dave for sorting out our electrical issues. Very tricky outside lights that had a worm nest in them which kept blowing the lights and the electrics in the house! Changing the pond pump and putting an outside light on to a different switch. And then he very kindly changed some bulbs I couldn't reach. A great morning's work and my fish are much happier. Highly recommend Dave at Mercer. No job too small or too big. Thank you!

Dave gave an excellent quote for a spur with isolator switch in the garage. Attended quickly and made safe electrics in the garage previously done incorrectly. Very neat and tidy and pleased with the job. Will definitely recommend to friends/family. Thanks Dave!

I always enjoy Daves workmanship, and hiswith his professional friendly approach. I had 2 new wall lights fitted with speed, efficiency and no mess, always a plus when having work done. It took no more than 20 minutes and the job was complete and tested. I would rate Mercer Electrical Services as one of the best in the business. I just need to decide if I paint my lounge or find a good decorator.

Mercer electrical installed the lights in my summer house, working in partnership with ideal garden rooms. Even sorted the garage light out for my husband. Professional with exceptional customer service. Thank you

We recently had Dave come and do some electrical work never had him before, would highly recommend him. Excellent work and at a fair price too. He was very knowledgeable, polite and cleaned up after himself. We will definitely be using him again.

Dave was the consummate professional. He added three additional sockets, changed them to brass and fitted a very large ceiling pendent. He arrived on time, extremely polite and left the room tidy when he had finished. We were really pleased with his work and would highly recommend.

Dave has been fantastic!! He came recommended to me from my parents who had a small job completed. I have had an electric car charger fitted. He recommended the best charger for my needs. He completed the installation (which took a day)- with new wiring in the house to accommodate the new charger. Very professional service and couldn’t recommend enough, thank you!!

Dave’s amazing. Hard working reliable and cleaned up after himself. Couldn’t be happier with the car charger install. Top man.

We had Dave carry out extensive electrical works to our house extension. The work involved new electrics in the new part of the house, a new fuse box, outdoor lighting, spotlights, wall lights, pendant lights and sorting our existing house electrics out. Dave delivered 1st class service - he was responsive in emails, queries, phone, always on time, polite, professional and nothing was a problem for Dave. He carried out work at short notice due to builders demands and even worked Sundays to make the timings. I would recommend Dave to anyone and would never use anyone else.

Mercer Electrical Services have done a number of jobs for me and I can’t recommend them enough. Always my go to, and always a professional and fairly priced job!

Had work done by Dave last year. Very professional, competitive pricing, reliable and great result. Would highly recommend.

Dave and his colleague arrived on the time that they had specified and also sent a text as reminder before hand. They were both courteous, professional and had a friendly manner. Both of them cleaned up after themselves and did a great job of changing the transformer to be compatible with NEST doorbell and also changed living room light fitting. Would definitely recommend and use Dave Mercer electrical services going forwards Thanks Dave, Mona

Highly reccommend this company for any electrical services. The service was prompt, good value and carried out in a professional manner. My wife is soon to start working from home and we needed a hard wired ethernet connection in another room, quite a distance from the router/phone socket but her work stipulated her connection needed to be hard wired at all times into the work phone and laptop due the calls needed to be 100% reliable in her customer services role. All complete and ready to go. Thanks for the great service. Dave & Bex

Mercer Electrical Services did a grand job when we booked them in for our garage and house electrics. The work was first rate, completed on time and at a reasonable price. David the electrician is friendly and gives good advice on what we needed to complete the work. We have used their services on several occasions without complaint and will have them back again.

I have used these services on several occasions now for various jobs and all work has been carried out to a high standard and Dave was professional at all times. He has re-wired our entire kitchen and upgraded our electrical box to ensure everything was safe and up to code. I would highly recommend him for further work.

We have used Dave's services for work at both our Crewe and Nantwich clinics. He has always been on time and has worked quickly and effectively taking care to not disrupt our business working days. We have never had an issue with any of his work and all is top quality. He is highly recommended for business work and is great value for money too. We will continue to use his services in the future.

I have had used this company on several occasions, to install a dimmer switch with new housing, an outdoor security light, installation of additional sockets, HDMI sockets, and an outdoor CCTV system. All work was carried out as requested and I trust the advice I was given when choosing suitable lighting/security appliances. They have also assisted with two bathroom remodels and erecting a wall divide. Excellent service. Professional. Highly reccomended

David was very professional when we called up to inquire about some works and repairs that were needed. He got us booked in very quickly and completed the work to a very high standard would 100% use him again.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Dave is really professional. He has done several jobs at our home from installing new plug socket, electrical connection in summer house and installation of bathroom fixtures. Every time he had done superb job which is not only functional but looks amazing too and left the place very clean afterwards.
