I have been using WS Howe at my business and home for the last 18 years. They are a very professional company that have serviced and maintaned our boilers and heating equipment. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent job by the guys at W S Howe! They refitted our downstairs wetroom, and we couldnt be happier with the end product. When they took out the old one they discovered loads of problems from the previous DIY fit. The guys fixed all of these problems and installed a beautifully finished new wetroom. The results are excellen and we would 100% recommend W S Howe. Thanks guys

No longer the family business that it’s reputation was built on. My in-laws recommended this firm 20 years ago having used them regularly for some 20 years before that. My recent experience has been unsatisfactory and following a check on companies house, it seems the original family are no longer directors. I have given 2 stars as the engineers were polite enough and the company director did address my initial invoice query and offered a partial credit. However, there is a lack of understanding and training when it comes to smart home automation and the internal job sheet process requires a review as communication between the engineers and finance team is poor. No point me going into detail here but in summary, I’ve received 5 visits, I’m just shy of £600 down, the issue has not been resolved, and I’m awaiting a quote for what I understand to be an expensive solution. It’s been three weeks now and I’ve not heard back about the quote, perhaps because I settled the other invoices.

Called to fix boiler, ordered parts that were installed but still didn’t work and then told us couldn’t get any new parts and left it there. I ended up having to pay for parts that didn’t work and so were not really needed. They fixed nothing but still charged. Ended up having new boiler fitted by a different company. Would not recommend

I did not have a good experience with W S Howe. 3 visits to identify and solve for radiators not heating up. The issue was not solved, and the last engineer left me with a leaking pipe from the boiler and a large bill! In communicating to W S Howe about the leak, it took a week to get a response, as the owner saw the messages but was too busy to acknowledge and reply. As the heating issue occurred just before Christmas, and not resolved by W S Howe, I needed another to ask plumber, and they resolved the heating and leak issues in one visit.

A lovely job in our kitchen, moving all our pipe work ready for the new kitchen units and appliances. Thankyou.

Wonderful old fashioned service..not the cheapest quote it's true..but worth the extra..very happy to recommend..couldn't be more of a contrast with our previous British Gas homecare provider..Will be using their services again

Our First time using this firm after being let down by others and will certainly make it our go to one in the future the engineer was very thorough and helpful over a problem with one of the fires nothing to much trouble can highly recommend

Can highly recommend. We approached W S Howe for a quote for our bathroom refurbishment and they provided a very competitive quote and a convenient time for the works to start. The engineers employed by W S Howe were polite and efficient - particularly Dave who carried out the works as though it was in his own home. Very happy and we will definitely use again.

Unable to repair the electric water heater system they assured me on the phone they could do (3 years old), and never supplied the promised quote for a replacement. They did however charge a great deal for a small extra job they did whilst here. Maybe I was unlucky but I'll certainly not use them again.

Attended my sons house to check and reconnect a gas fire, which we were told was no safe to use and needed to be replace by another less reputably company, my son is disabled, and i would like to thank W S Howe for there professionalism and excellent & quality of workmanship.

I would recommend other people to use W S Howe & Co due to their reliability, good customer service as well ease to contact - they always answer the phone when I have rung exactly on their opening time.
