After having issues with two other companies I approached Dorset Plumbing regarding an air conditioner. They were upfront and honest from the start and explained that due to the current heatwave demand was very high. I was happy with the quote and was told it would be about 4 weeks to installation which was acceptable given the high demand. This was where Dorset Plumbing showed they were a cut above the rest. I was uneasy, due to a bad experience with another aircon company of parting with a 50% deposit and waiting. Vince, one of the owners, resolved that concern by bringing my air conditioner unit himself and leaving it with me so I knew I had one. It was meeting Vince I saw that they treat everyone as an individual rather than a sale. Due to my personal circumstances Vince said he would see if he could do anything about bringing my installation date forward. Within 24hrs I was contacted and told they would do the installation within a couple of days. This was a massive gesture on their part given how busy they were. True to their word two fitters came and installed the air conditioning. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. It is very rare nowadays to come across a company who put customer care before a quick sale. It must of took some organising to do my installation so quickly. I never fill in reviews, but this is one I am more than happy to do. This company went well beyond what you would expect. Thank you to Vince and the team.

I am need of a plumber and have always used Dorset plumbing for any issues I have had and was happy with their service, always friendly and helpful. But, last year they fitted a new water pumps for me and after a few weeks I discovered it was leaking, they came out promptly and replaced the pump. There was significant damage to the flooring, which they said they would replace so they sent a flooring company around to give a quote, I also sent a couple of quotes, I then had to chase this up on numerouse occasions to try and find out what was going to happen. I have heard nothing since....so disappointed!!!
Phoned last week with a toilet flushing problem, booked me in for today. Ben was the engineer who came, explained the issue he had a look and discussed what needed doing ....went straight ahead and all sorted! Very very happy with the service thanks Ben and Team will defintly be coming to you guys in the future 😊
A couple of years ago we saw a Dorset Plumbing van around town and decided to book them for a boiler service which was overdue. We were so impressed with the ease of booking, the professionalism and cheerfulness of the engineer so we continued to use DP for further annual services. Just before Christmas 2025 we suddenly had intermittent hot water & heating due to having an old system. We called DP and they sent Chris; we cannot fault the swift service we received, even though we needed a part which took a couple of days to come Chris made sure he had done everything he could to help us in the interim. We are very satisfied with Dorset Plumbing, they have some really great guys on their team. Highly recommend.

I called yesterday morning as my boiler stopped working they managed to get one of their engineers out the same day he was polite and efficient I believe his name was Ben (hope that’s correct) Whilst they were here I noticed they do air conditioning so I got them to quote at the same time they turned out to be much cheaper than the quotes I have already received and I am now booked in! Thanks to max in the office for calling me back quickly and giving me such confidence I would not go the weekend without heating.
We have been customers of Dorset Plumbing for many years. They consistently provide a very professional, efficient and friendly service, with competitive pricing. Anything from a boiler replacement to annual servicing. They are also doing pipe adaptation for my son, who has changed a radiator. - So, no job too small. Jake has now done our Annual Boiler Service twice and is incredibly thorough. My adult children also use Dorset Plumbing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Having used this company about 5 years ago to install a new boiler in my own house which i have not had a single problem with in that time, i asked them to give my Mum a quote for work at her house in Weymouth. Dorset Plumbing Quoted a price £2500 cheaper than my Mum's previous quote, they started the job 2 weeks later to install a new boiler and 7 radiators. The engineer was fantastic, did an amazing job and my Mum was chuffed to bits with the end result. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.
I was recommended Dorset plumbing by my father who has used them on his own home as well as a rented property for years. He specifically recommended speaking to Max and I can see why. Max from the beginning was a total joy to speak to and helped me book in an urgent gas safety certificate. This has been requested by someone purchasing my property so was quite a stressful situation which Max and his team made me feel fully supported by. Chris who came to visit was incredibly professional and reassured me that everything looked as it should be. They also included a boiler service within their costs which isn't something provided by all suppliers. In my opinion going above and beyond and reducing more anxiety when this was separately requested by my purchaser today. Awfull company to deal with someone ansews back in a rude manner.They never sign their email so never know who your talking to in the team. I had a bath supported that had dropped. When supporting the bath and putting on new bath panel on they didnt check pipes where still connected. So a leaked happened through to my neighbour ceiling across my carpet and through my skirting. This is now going through an insurance claim. Dorset plumbing are trying to say that water damage was from an old leak.Bath never leaked till they worked on it. Really not worth the agro of having this company. Time to find a better plumber
We have had a beautiful new bathroom fitted, all expertly carried out by Craig. He is a professional to his finger tips, nothing phased him as he energetically went about the work. His attention to detail was five star, he kept us fully informed throughout, even making helpful suggestions to enhance the project. His singing won’t get him a spot on BGT but he kept us entertained. From Ben’s initial visit to measure up and provide a quote, everything went very smoothly and we’re very happy with the finished result. Recently had a new boiler installed in my flat. The work in itself wasn't as simple as first planned, however the Gas Engineer Scott took it upon himself to ensure I had hot water by the end of the first day. Needed my boiler servicing and after seeing them mentioned on social media I then googled and contacted them. Communication was great with a reminder text the next day followed by an update on the engineers arrival on the day. Prompt and pleasant. Later I was worried their was an issue with my boiler so I phoned them and received a message with a return appointment for the next day in which they assured me everything was fine !

Absolutely fantastic service. Definitely recommended. Our combi boiler broke down and required replacement a week before Xmas, BGas install time was 10 weeks. Dorset Plumbing did it the following week and half the price of BG. Start to finish nothing was a problem, new boiler, new flue, reworked the copper piping, Scott did a thoroughly professional job. After being let down by last plumber , I contacted the Dorset Plumbing and got instant response. An engineer came on time and carried the boiler service. Great communication and service, good price, very polite and tidy. 5 stars . Definitely recommend .
Carried out a repair & service; within less than 24 hours boiler stopped working. Came back out & said there was another fault wanted £220 to rectify. Manufacturers attended site were surprised as to why they hadn't identified initial issue & commented on things not done on service. In response to Dorset Plumbing reply; At no time did we say we'd already spent enough on the boiler as we had only recently taken ownership of the house & by association the heating system. Yes you returned without charging us; the original call out was because we had no hot water, the second call out was because we still didn't have any hot water & involving the manufacturer was because we still didn't have hot water. The manufacturers engineer purely answered questions as to why the boiler failed to supply hot water after it had been serviced & was in no way unprofessional. The system works perfectly now with unlimited hot water.

Provided a quote for plumbing works, booked it in only for the engineer to turn up and walk off site within 15 mins. You then receive a second quote later in the day for twice the price. They refused to break down how the labour cost increased 3 fold. They cant quote a job so avoid if you can.
Unfortunate experience with this company and would not advise people to use...there is a lot better available.. Shut off boiler after gas safety inspection without calling landlord to discuss repair. Finally sent a quote to replace the entire boiler for a flu issue which has been fixed in the past with an original part (flu clamp) as advised by a qualified boiler technician.(update: A valid and passed gas safety certificate was obtained after previous flu work).
They’ve serviced our boiler for a number of years and even provided me a last minute copy of the report to satisfy solicitors during a house sale. Can highly recommend!

Contacted Dorset Plumbing when our boiler broke down, Ben arrived with a couple of hours he found the fault, replaced the part and kept us informed throughout. Dorset plumbing where Asked to do a gas certificate for us. Told us they could get the part that was needed for the boiler to pass. Our poor tenant waited weeks without hot water , was then informed they could not get the part so would have to have a new boiler put in to which we agreed. Then that would be another two weeks time. Then said they couldn’t replace the boiler and to find another company. Total total waste of time and money with this company.
This is the third time we have had this company to do work for us that in itself tells you that we are please with them. Last year we had them do a boiler check and fit a new kitchen mixer tap. On Monday 3/2/20 just after they opened I rang them as our boiler had died the previous day, they managed to get us an appointment for the following afternoon, the engineer arrived after first ring to let us know he was on his way and within an hour our boiler was up and running. Can not fault them, cost for the first 2 jobs was what was quoted, the last job was including a new pcb and a couple of other parts including a hot water tank which I considered a very reasonable price. Very pleased with them, hence 5 stars.
One of my radiators wasn't heating and Dorset Plumbing quickly fixed the problem that was caused by a stuck thermostatic valve. The system is now running fine and I have saved the cost of an expensive Powerflush recommended by another company. Very pleased I went to Dorset Plumbing.

Awesome!!! I had a leak which turned out to be the water tank. Ben sealed the leak temporarily within a few hours of calling. They gave me 2 options, replace the tank in the loft or fit a pressurised cylinder tank which would also remove the noisy pressure pump I have. I choose the pressurised cylinder and wow Im so glad I did. They turned up bang on time and cleared away all mess leaving me to enjoy a silent and powerful shower. Will definitely recommend Vince and his team 👌
A plumber came out last Tuesday to check my gas. I am still waiting for my certificate to prove that it's all safe. My sister was told he would put it on an email for proof.l rang several times to ask for paper proof or even the email proof. I still haven't received anything not even a receipt for a cash payment.l have had gas certificates before they normally do it there on the day. Why is this company different ?.The receptionist said she would post it on Friday we are local ,so where is it ? I also told them I needed my proof quickly . I think for £47 .I should have my certificate.

Fantastic service, I had problem with my shower, an engineer came within days and explained what was wrong, went to get a new part, fitted it and was extremely pleasant, also good value for money, I thoroughly recommend this company
Really unprofessional people sitting at this company. The engineer did not turn up on that day. No information from the gentlemen who answered the phone. No sorry nothing. I said it was really unprofessional for them to not call to inform and reschedule. The gentlemen very rudely told me to find services somewhere else then. I would not even rate this 1 star. Zero star should be for this sort of company. Edit: Pathetic response to blame on the customer. I can understand how lame are the people working at your company calling yourself professionals. You did not turn up, next day i called and got response to find the services somewhere else. I guess your bookkeeping needs to be updated.
My boiler packed up and was told it needed replacing. Everyone else wanted far too much money and expected me to wait 2weeks to have it fitted. Called Dorset plumbing and they quoted me at a fraction of the price everyone else wanted not to mention they could fit it 2 days later. Engineer was extremely knowledgeable and extreamly neat and tidy, went the extra mile. Really happy with the service and would highly recommend. Thanks again
Highly recommend this company. They carried out some repairs to my boiler and they really did go above and beyond to get my boiler sorted, could not recommend enough.
Avoid this company..dont know how to talk to their customers. Absolutely no respect for customers highly unprofessional and rude. Will never do any business with them again. Also claim made below by owner is false..you don't even know what was the job..it was gas safety certificate check and not boiler service. £42 pound was quoted and not what you mentioned..get your facts right before you write. Tone of your reply confirm my claim..you don't know how to talk to the customer.

BEWARE!! When I phoned to enquire about a job due on that day the conversation was engineered by the owner of Dorset Plumbing so that he could work himself into an aggressive and verbally insulting rage. Basically an ordered part was the wrong one and I guess that the job wasn’t worth his time to fix as he refused to continue the job ( telling me that I was being abusive - I wasn’t!) and cutting me off. Looking at other reviews it seems that as long as there aren’t problems all is well ( I’ve had a boiler install and service with them with no issues) but If things go wrong, then pray you don’t get this abuse hurled at you.

Excellent service, Tom had to go the extra mile to get our boiler serviced due to the way it had been installed and he was happy to do so. Really good value for money. Will definitely use them again.
Very disappointed. I booked an appointment to have a quote on my bathroom, they said it would be 2 weeks on Friday 11th between 9-1.00pm. The day came and I waited in all morning but no one came, no call to explain. I called them and left a message asking someone to get back to me, no one called me back. I called again after the weekend and the lady said it had been booked in and she would find out why no came and call me back, guess what, no one called me back!. I called again today to be told the booking system had the appointment but they had a problem with this information getting to there team on the road. I asked for a new appointment, guess what 2 weeks!! If they knew they had a problem with there system why did they not make sure the person coming to me had the appointment booked? Hopeless. I am very upset and annoyed with Dorset plumbing especially as they could not even offer me an appointment this week considering they had let down. They were recommended to me but I can't say I'll be doing the same.
I thought £35 for a boiler service was to good to be true until they turned up and carried out the work and lucky for me they did as my last engineer had missed vital things

absolutely unbelievable. the plumber himself was extremely rude and made me feel very unconfutable, charged his phone non stop in my plugs and insisted on using my patio doors even though I clearly did not want him to do so that he did not disturb my new-born, just to save him a 30 second walk. he spend more time on the phone to his mates and popping out left right and centre than he did actually working.
My boiler packed up at 5am, sent Dorset Plumbing an email and they phoned me at 8am. A plumber came before 9am and did an emergency fix to get my Hot water upand running. They then came and fitted a new boiler at a really competitive price and real tidy. Highly recommend, great service and polite knowledgable staff.
