We hired One Shot Utilities for a large side and rear extension project. The job required extensive excavation for footings, pouring and levelling of concrete, planning and installing underground drainage, moving two manholes, installing a soakaway and upgrading our water main. This was a massive undertaking, but Col and his team were completely up to the task and completed every objective to a high standard. The entire team was polite, professional, and left the site clean and tidy at the end of every single day. Col is extremely knowledgeable and always kept us fully updated on our progress. He clearly loves his job, and that passion shines through his team and the quality of their workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend his company.
One Shot Utilities undertook a Lead Water Supply Replacement for MDPE using Moling and also relocated the electricity meter. Colin (director) was at my property at very short notice, surveyed the area and provided a quote for both jobs. He even adjusted his other projects to fit me in and deliver the quoted works. From our initial conversation I was impressed with Colin's professionalism, knowledge and expertise on both jobs. The quote seemed very reasonable and now that I'm seeing the finished product, it was value for money. For both parts (electrics and water) Colin and his team showed great level of professionalism, delivered everything at the highest quality and worked really hard and fast. If I could give more than 5 stars in this review, I would. Highly recommended!

After countless knock backs or ignored attempts to get quotes from other companies we thankfully came across One Shot who were reasonably priced, prompt and efficient. To say that Colin is meticulous in his approach is something of an understatement. He routinely went out of his way to keep me updated and was mindful of our needs with a young son. They even managed to resolve a long standing issue with rising damp during the mains replacement and I never felt like they were rushing to finish the work like I have experienced with other trades. I cannot recommend highly enough, they are a rare find these days.

One Shot Utilities completely replaced the lead water supply pipe to my property with new MDPE pipe. The pipe ran from the property boundary near the public pavement all the way under the driveway to my kitchen to where the stopcock and drain valve are located. Colin (Director) initially did a survey and explained fully in detail what the work entailed and how he would carry it out. The work itself from start to finish was completed in a little over a day including re-tarmacing the holes dug to mole through the new pipe. At every stage Colin explained what he was doing and whether I was happy with the work, he answered any questions I had. He did an excellent job and kept everything clean and tidy. He is professional, friendly and courteous and a pleasure to chat with. I am very happy with the quality of the work and One Shot Utilities will be my first consideration when needing their services again. I can highly recommended them.

Lead Water Supply Replacement for MDPE using Moling: Colin (Owner) arrived and did a thorough inspection of my property and agreeing with me where the MDPE Pipe would enter my property and the location of the Stopcock and Drain valve. Colin is a man of many years in his profession and he established my trust as he talked me through what the work would entail. I received my quote pretty quickly and it was around the amount I had expected having done my research beforehand. I subsequently agreed a date and work commenced on time with arrival time on day communicated in advance. I was very impressed with the work. Site left safe at end of first day and despite a leak being discovered in lead pipe (several actually) a temporary solution was made to ensure I continued to have a water supply. The work was completed on Day 2 and the work was excellent. Lots of photos to show depth of pipe as per regulations and the ducting under the property. The reinstatement of the two holes dug to allow the pipe hole to be created was amazing, I watched the guys do a really careful job to ensure the slabs were level and blended into existing, even the mortar colour matched existing. They swept the driveway down and hosed it down prior to the mortaring of the Slabs. I cannot recommend this Company enough and Colin is a pleasure to deal with and an interesting guy to have a chat with. It is a shame other Companies do not have the same level of professionalism and care about the Customer and One Shot Utilities. I will definitely be using them again if the need ever arises.
One Shot Utilities sorted our rear garden service pipe leak very quickly after we made contact with Col who runs it. He kept us updated with date to fix it and turned up on time. Fully equipped to do job. It was sorted in short time. No problems with anything he had to do. It was within price I was quoted. Expertly carried out. Can't praise him and his company enough.
