Mark replaced the ancient, leaking 44-year-old boiler in my new home with a clean, efficient combi unit, transforming the rusted, algae-ridden mess into a modern setup. Despite the messy setup, the work was tidy, fast, and exactly what the house and me needed. Photos from the old setup and the state of the tank to the new setup.

He came out the same day and was transparent about the costs from the off and was fair with his pricing. He rescheduled other appointments so he could come back 2 days later to replace our boiler so we could get the heating and hot water back on and did a great job with a follow up to check all was okay. Good communication with Mark, which was important because I'm an overseas landlord. Prompt, efficient, provided the extra information I needed for my boiler replacement, and a good value quote too.

Mark recently fitted a new combi boiler for our new house. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was incredibly professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The installation itself was seamless and efficient. He took great care to ensure everything was set up correctly and even went above and beyond to explain how to use the new system. The new boiler is working perfectly, and I've already noticed a significant improvement in our home's hot water which is an absolute godsend. Mark was always on time. All the issues that arose during the job (none of Mark's making, I should add) were rapidly solved without impacting the schedule and I was kept informed throughout. Mark cleared up to a high standard every day and has taken everything away, leaving no trace of the job except the new kit! I can easily recommend Safe Gas.

Highly recommend, good communication and very prompt service

New Boiler and replacement radiators. Mark offered a professional & friendly service from start to finish. Competitive quotation, turned up on time and the quality of workmanship was faultless. I would definitely recommend Mark to any family member or friend looking for a professional quality service.

NEW GAS BOILER INSTALLATION, 10 JULY 2023 Replacement included also new pump plus replacement of 52 year old hot water cylinder & immersion heater. New water & gas pipes had to be laid to new boiler location and to new pump now in the airing cupboard. Bedroom floorboards were lifted & replaced very carefully. The job took five days, but owner, Mr. Gay, on his own worked systematically, but unhurredly throughout. The removal of a kitchen wall cabinet, to make space for the new boiler, was an extra, which was agreed. I've used it only on HW or CH boost for 30 mins only, when needed. Early days, but working well, thus far. Winter will provide the proper test. I am happy to use Mr. Gay again for the annual maintenance.

Mark was prompt and helped me out after being let down. He fitted the gas hob with ease and was quick tidy and polite. I would recommend him to anyone.

Had a new boiler installed by Mark was very impressed, great job at a great price, would highly recommend, now having new radiators installed

He was professional and courteous at all times. The job was completed on time and on budget. I am very happy with my new boiler and would recommend this company.

Mark installed a new kitchen tap and I'm very impressed with the result! My partner booked the job and let him in to carry out the work, all while I was still asleep and completely undisturbed. The pipework under the sink remains tidy and compact, and I'm grateful he managed to install the pull-out spray tap we wanted despite the original pipe layout. I'd definitely recommend such a knowledgeable, considerate professional.

I'm pleased with the service I've received - quick & easy to book, competitively priced, and a business I will 100% use again. Showed up on time and was very friendly and professional throughout.

We found Mark extremely professional, friendly, punctual and incredibly tidy. He installed a new combi boiler and radiators, removing the old tanks and carrying out all associated work involved. We received a very competitive quote, everything came in on budget and ahead of time and found we felt very comfortable and confident with Mark. We could not fault the workmanship and have already booked additional work with him. Excellent service from start to finish, thoroughly recommend him.

Disruption to the running of the house was kept to a minimum. Workspace was left clean after each day. Work was made good to a great standard at the end. Job went to time estimates. Great communication from Mark which I find isn’t always the case within the industry. Would definitely recommend and would use again for further jobs and services.

Our 40-year old boiler finally gave up the ghost and needed replacing. Mark was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. His quote was prompt, clear and competitive. Our central heating system is very old so the job threw up a few challenges, but Mark worked extremely hard to ensure the work was completed properly and on time. The final bill was exactly as quoted and the various guarantees and compliance certificates arrived within a few days. I would certainly recommend Mark to friends.

Boiler Service - Excellent service from Mark as always. Arranged convenient time to come and carried out job perfectly. Highly recommend Mark.

We found Mark Gay's business (Safe Gas Heating & Plumbing Ltd) via Worcester Bosch's website as an approved boiler installer. His services has been first class from day 1. He replied to messages promptly, usually on the same day. He certainly has a lot of experience, knowledge & skills & gave very frank & honest advice, which proved he could be trusted. On the day of installation, he arrived on time & set about getting the work done. We replaced our 16 year old Baxi/Potterton (15KW) boiler with new Worcester Bosch Greenstar Ri 24KW boiler. This came with a 10 year Guarantee as we opted to have a Worcester Bosch Magnetic Filter also installed. At first, Mark thought he would struggle to place it due to the limited amount of space available, but in the end, he was able to get this done. Once the water was turned back on, unfortunately, there was a water leak under the floor boards, which Mark was quickly able to find the root cause of & fix (which cost extra, as it was not obviously accounted for in the original quote). However, Mark still managed to get all of the work completed on time. All of the follow up paperwork (invoice, receipt & guarantee) was sent in a timely manner via email. We also subsequently asked him to fix another minor leak in a bathroom & would happily recommend Mark & his company for any Gas, Heating or Plumbing work. However, be prepared to wait a couple of weeks before it can get scheduled, as his diary gets fully booked very quickly-which is understandable.

Mark carried out my annual boiler service to his usual high standard and provide a comprehensive report . I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a highly knowledgeable and professional plumber . A personable man who I will continue to use.
