TFOBS always do an excellent job of servicing our boiler (or repairing it, when necessary), despite it being a couple of decades old. They're easy to contact and correspond with too.

They regularly service our boiler and live up to their name. When we first moved in and were unaccustomed to oil boilers they came out and gave us guidance. We recently were flooded and came out promptly to check everything was working. I would highly recommend. Update boiler broke down they came that day and sorted no call out just reasonable charge for labour- they really are brilliant.

Annual service of domestic oil boiler

Have used TFOBS shortly after we moved here in 2021 when our boiler stopped working. We found their emergency response was excellent and have used them for our regular servicing ever since. No hesitation in recommending this friendly bunch.

Nick was brilliant when our heating stopped working, quickly rectifying the issue. When he retuned to service our boiler he noticed an issue with our oil tank and gave brilliant advice on what to do/who to contact for this issue we were completely unaware of. Simon and the guys at The Friendly Oil Boiler Service are amazing. They are friendly, which is a bonus, and more important, they are very professional and efficient. They do an excellent job at a very fair price and don’t try to add extras on. An example of that was some extra insulation which he said was cheaper from Amazon and gave me the spec to get it myself. I recommend them very highly.

Very quick to come out on any urgent calls. They know us so well they go straight to the outhouse to make a start so we often don't know they're there, to offer some refreshments. Very reasonable pricing, very friendly and completely trustworthy. I can confidently say as a woman that I know I'm not being overcharged or paying for unnecessary work. I'm so glad we've been on their books for so many years, as they know what regularly fails on our boiler and carry the parts. Multiple failures on our boiler this time, including new ones, all resolved within a couple of hours on a single visit. Let them take the stress out of your oil boiler servicing and repairs. P.S. We called on Good Friday with an urgent problem. Paul called back and arrived within a couple of hours. It was really difficult and involved a number of boiler control faults as well as fuel line blockages. He worked through everything meticulously and has given us complete confidence. I'm a retired engineering director so I know when I see a really competent person! We'll be using this outfit for everything in future.
