After calling Urban Pest Control Ltd, Matt arrived in 30 mins to check out our wasp issue. He saw that it wasn’t a nest and gave excellent advice on how to manage the problem (wasps attracted to sap on tree) which was much appreciated. I called up in regards to a bird problem, I was told i’d be ‘better off calling a roofer’ I’m sorry but I’ve used pest control companies before for bird issues and I’ve never been told that before. A pest control company that doesn’t deal with birds? This may be a surprise, but birds do fly up to high spaces!

After noticing a few rats in my garden, I decided it was time to call pest control. The website was professional and friendly, so I called and booked an appointment. Josh from Urban Pest Control came out the same day and was very knowledgeable/professional and calming to the situation! Whilst here he also treated my neighbours garden who had been seeing the rats as well! Josh came back at an agreed time a week later to review the situation and to our delight with only one treatment, it appears we have dealt with the issue. I would highly recommend Urban Pest Control and will be using them again if ever required.

Today I used Urban Pest Control to remove a wasp nest that was located in my loft. Ollie arrived within 24hrs of my initial enquiry. He was super polite, respectful of my carpets (wearing shoe covers) very tidy, leaving no mess in the loft and extremely professional. Ollie was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions, explaining how the nests were built and then checked out the rest of the loft to make sure there were no further nests within the loft space. I had a problem with something digging up my lawn. I contacted Urban Pest Control and Andrew came along. He thought it was a mole, set traps, then returned about a week later. In the meantime the lawn was not being disturbed. On his return we found one of the traps had been dug up and had disappeared. The assumption was a fox had found something in it and gone off with it. Urban Pest Control and Andrew in particular who has a friendly professional approach did a great job in getting rid of my problem. Highly recommend, pity about the trap

We were clearing garden waste and was moving a hippo bag and that is when a swam of wasps attacked my friend. I looked on google and phoned this company first and John came round a few hours later. I have a phobia of them and was by this time still a little bit panicky and once i spoke to John, i started to feel ok. I got to watch the who thing through my porch window, he really dug into the bag of branches to find the nest and then sprayed them, it was all over in a matter of mins, was i thought reasonably priced. We phoned early afternoon and Andrew arrived within a couple of hours. He acted professionally and very efficient. This was 2 inspection visits for suspected Bee infestation in loft conversion roof space, since there was a lot of bee activity in one location externally on the roof and bee noise seemed very clear inside the house. As it happened, once they used a telescopic camera, turns out there was no sign of a hive or bees in the roof space. Felt I’d wasted their time but the two guys who came couldn’t have been nicer. I’m keeping an eye on my roof and chimney stack for any future bee activity and will definitely use them again if needed.

Urban pest control provided excellent service in dealing with a rodent infestation at our property. Very professional, discreet, always arriving on time and providing excellent advice. Coming out early (pre 7am) and weekends to ensure the rodents were dispatched quickly and as humanely as possible. I highly recommend this company.

Josh came out to my rental property after reporting a Rat issue. very prompt very knowledgeable and good guidance given poison has been laid, call back next week. He also examined adjoining properties for signs of entry where he found my neighbour had a large cavity where there were signs of rodent entry into the building.recommendations are being sent to the Estate office. Hopefully this will deter further rodent visits!

Wasps nest in the roof cavity broke through the plaster and into the bedroom. Ryan arrived within a couple of hours, very friendly and knowledgeable. he very quickly and efficiently cleared the nest and gave good advice on the behaviour of wasps. would highly recommend this company for pest control.
We had a huge wasp nest in the loft, with the wasps accessing it at the top of a valley between two roof areas - hard to reach without specialist kit. The wasps were in the loft and getting through to the bedrooms. Wayne from Urban had the necessary equipment to give two doses of powder, and within a few days of treatment the loft was clear and all activity ceased. A totally professional job at a very reasonable price.
Came out within 3 hours of our call which we appreciated very much as we were about to go on holiday when we heard scratching above us! I contacted Urban Pest Control as having had a rat in my loft over the winter I needed the very old and pretty grim insulation removed from the loft floor. I wasn't sure if this was the sort of thing they did but they were brilliant. From the initial survey and advice by Andrew and the clearance, cleaning and disinfecting of the area by Josh and Wayne everything was done in a really professional and thorough way. They couldn't have been more helpful including advice on further things that can be done should the problem recur. They are really nice people and I would absolutely recommend Urban Pest Control for any pest problem.
We called upon the services of this company as we were being plagued with mole hills. They responded really quickly, laid the traps and returned within 48 hours to retrieve dead mole . Would not hesitate to recommend these guys.

Fantastic service from Ray who came, diagnosed and sorted our problem, putting our minds at ease. We had thought we had a carpenter ant infestation but turned out just to be damp and other issues we knew about already, mixed with a colony of 'normal' ants. I called Urban Pest Control because I had squirrels in the eaves of my property. They came within a couple of days if my call. Josh dealt with the problem and they were eradicated after 4 visits. He is now dealing with another pest issue he encountered during his visits and which at the moment is ongoing. Josh is a very pleasant young man, very reliable, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. Urban Pest Control inspected around the house, found several ants nests, sprayed around the house and provided gel pots to place in areas that cannot be sprayed (our strawberry plants and in house hot spots). Have used Urban pest control a few times now and are very friendly and if they can help they will.
We've used Urban Pest Control a few times over the years for ants and a rat. They were great, came to have a look at the issue explained what they were going to do, and what to look out for/do from our part. Very professional and friendly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone needing their services.
Got the team in to remove a very well hidden seagull's nest on the roof before they attempt to nest again for the season and to install deterrents/spikes. Initial contact and survey was very quick so once agreed everything it all worked like clockwork from my perspective. The job was definitely trickier than anticipated but it was very clear they are a conscientious team - passionate and caring - so got their heads around how best to approach it. Kelly, Matt and the team are lovely to deal with - friendly and courteous. Would not hesitate to use them again - or in this case recommend to the neighbours once the seagulls return to the village and have to find someone else's roof to nest in!!

Would recommend for business and domestic pest control. The team does the pest control for the company I work for, and are doing it better than our previous contractor, with a quick efficient service. When we had a problem at home with a wasps nest I rang them and asked if they did house calls. They did and again it was a quick and reliable service, plus the price was £50 cheaper than some other quotes we got.

Pretty shocked. Called out Urban Pest Control to my friend's house in Ringwood yesterday, for a clear wasp problem (the wasps were filling an upstairs bedroom only). The guy who attended proceeded to kill a colony of "naturally foraging honey bees" high up in the chimney stack (some 25 feet away) at one end of the building before realising and before bothering to go and look for the wasp nest he was called out for (through the attic door in the problem room). As we had suspected there was an enormous wasp nest in the roof above the problem room. I truly would have thought that any pest control company worth its salt would have inspected and determined the species (the bees were visible from the ground) instead of just whipping out the insecticide and exterminating them. I'm furious... as is the home owner... And we want to know what insecticide was used on the bees! There are not enough bees in the world as it is without pest control companies spraying anything that moves without doing due diligence first.
