Very polite smart young man arrived (JCN Pascal?) and could not do enough to try and find a way to exterminate the wasps as they were in an unaccessible roof space. He was very respectful within the house, clean and tidy and fully adhered to his and our Health and Safety checking if we had and animals and making sure he was fully covered and protected before undertaking the operation. He did managed too discharge the insecticide in the entrance to the nest so hopefully a successful job, I would highly recommend SCPC as their service has been fantastic from a call on Friday to arriving at a prearranged time on Monday,a great local business

Rang yesterday late afternoon for a hornets nest removal in garden shed. Came out next day, destroyed nest and hornet. Checked shed for any signs further hornets, given all clear. Feeling much safer now going into the shed. The owner, very polite over the phone when I rang. His staff member was very polite and respectful when he visited to deal with said nest. He was respectful of the wildlife in our garden especially the little wren who was ‘telling us off’ as she needed to get into her nest in the hanging basket with food for her young - moving away to give her space she needed. Will definitely use them again with any pest problems in future. I highly recommend them.
I contacted SCPC as I had a rat entering my loft in the early hours on a daily basis. Ryan was very thorough, professional and friendly. The rat was quickly dealt with on the first treatment and Ryan checked the loft, drains and burrows in the garden on subsequent follow-up visits as part of the programme, which was very reassuring. We had a big problem with rats in the skirting and loft. After 4 visits to lay trays and bait Paul returned with his team to totally empty our loft (disposing of all unwanted items) hoovering out and fumigating. Careful preparation was also put in practise before commencing. It was a pleasure at every visit to have Paul and he and his team completed the task very professionally and efficiently. We would certainly recommend SCPC.

Called SCPC regarding a wasp nest that needed removing. The owner gave a fair price to destroy and remove it, sent an operative the next day who turned up on time and completed the job safely and swiftly. I would highly recommend this company I recently moved into a property and it became apparent very quickly that we had rats in the cavities and attic. Prior to Franks visiting we used 2 other companies, neither of whom rectified the situation. Frank was thorough and has completely addressed our issue in just four visits. Drain survey, rat flaps, traps and poison, and fingers crossed 🤞 no unwelcome visitors since. He was professional, friendly and extremely non judgemental, I would always use this company before any others going forward.

I was very pleased with the professional service that was given by Frank from SCPC. He visited my elderly mum’s house with a view of fitting a rat flap in the main drain, however, after initial investigations with the use of a camera, he concluded that firstly we would need some maintenance work to be carried out on the drain to enable the rat flap to be fitted. He recommended a reliable colleague who could carry out this work for us. Lastly, although we offered to pay for the visit Frank wouldn’t take any payment. Paul, was a fountain of knowledge and thorough. Explained everything. Put some of my biscuits in the loft to see if eaten. As no evidence found except small hole on outside wall. So will fill that in a minute to see if that was the cause. No bill at moment , and if filling the hole solves it there will not be a bill. Excellent service. Thanks 👌
With evidence of a rat getting into our loft space, I spoke with Frank who was able to visit and offer advice promptly. Although I'd already taken some steps, such as setting traps and looking to identify and block entry points where scratching had been heard, Frank described other possibilities I hadn't thought of and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Things to do next were clearly set out, as were the options and costs for further action if the issue persists. I would highly recommend contacting SCPC for advice.
Excellent fast response from Steve W who was able to reassure us that rodent droppings in loft were very old and we had no need to worry. Also carried out external check just to make sure there wasn't a problem. Very surprised to hear no charge for survey - that doesn't often happen these days!

I emailed SCPC regarding a rat problem and was very impressed with Frank’s prompt reply, an appointment was made for the next day. Frank arrived very punctually and spent some time inspecting the property and pointing out problematic areas requiring attention. He also discussed bait options. Nobody wants to have to use a pest control service but, if you do need to, I’d highly recommend SCPC

Paul helped us to get rid of rats that were coming in under floorboards in our house. He was very professional and gave us great advice. I haven’t had to have SCPC visit, but I would fully recommend them based on their honesty, helpfulness and understanding over the phone. Had problems with booklice in my flat which has sent me round the bend due to severe phobias. I spoke to a very kind friendly man on the phone who looked at my photos, reassured me that they would not be harmful to me, and explained clearly the best ways to treat any moisture/damp issues myself to eradicate them. I found this to be very honest as they could easily have told me I must pay to have the place treated professionally and I wouldn’t have known any different. I also got their number from my Mum as she had to call them out for suspected bedbugs last year, and again they were extremely honest and after a full inspection said no treatment was needed and therefore no charge. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them if needed in future as you don’t come across many people so honest and trustworthy in this day and age. Keep up the good work!

Fabulous service. Communication was excellent - listened to our problem, reassured us and arranged a free inspection to find out what was scratching around in Mums loft. We discovered we had mice in our kitchen. Paul was brilliant throughout the whole course of treatment, any time we called due to a snap trap being set off or empty bait stations he came out either that day or the following morning. Was very professional, easy to deal with, communication was great and updated us of any delays or changes in plans. Also used South Coast Pest Control for the proofing of the house. I have been very happy with the service I have received from Paul at SCPC. He has been very conscientious in how he carried out his job, offering advice & suggesting ways to eliminate the return of the infestation. Frank from South Coast Pest Control attended within 24hrs, checked for rat runs, evidence of rat droppings, scent of rat urine (none found - Phew!!). Calm and reassuring, double checked the out houses, ponds, inside the sheds and lots of nooks and crannies... The two rats seen by myself were just "travelling through" ... Feeling safe again in the garden. No treatment necessary... Honest and trustworthy.. no call out fee ... Would definitely recommend 😀

We've recently moved into our property and I discovered extensive rat droppings in the loft. I spoke to Frank who suggested I put a biscuit up there to see if the rats were still around. The biscuit remained intact so Frank came the following day to assess the situation and determine where they might have been getting in. He was here a good hour looking in the loft, checking the outside of the property, and even looking at plans we had for previous extensions that had been done. As it appears the droppings were pretty old and that we don't have a current infestation, we agreed for one of Frank's colleagues to come and remove the droppings and spray with antibacterial spray. Frank is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and was able to put our minds at rest re any current infestation. We'll definitely contact him again should we have any other pests that need dealing with. Thanks Frank :-)
These guys are great, my daughter could hear a crackling noise from the ceiling of her upstairs bedroom in our chalet bungalow, when i went outside i could see wasps coming and going between the tiles 3/4 of the way up the roof. far too risky for me to attempt to deal with, so i googled "pest control" and contacted this company, they showed up 2 days later exactly on time, the wasps were dealt with from ground level using a pole and injecting powder under the tiles, all done in 20 minutes, a few hours later the problem was resolved, even though they did say it could take 48 hours, would definitely recommend this company, Andy, Fontmell Magna

I found a wasps’ nest in the garage this morning, and the whole family was in distress. I made a phone call to South Coast Pest Control, and Phoebe was amazing. Came and sprayed my girlfriends house and since then the fleas have gained muscles, multiplies by 10 and have more ancestors then the whole on the uks history! I’m sure I seen one the other day with an 8 pack on his abs and it was the size of a Woodlouse! I don’t know if this spray have steroids in it or crack but they seem to love it and can’t get enough it as this is the third time he has been! Throw your protien shakes and invest in a flea spray and you’ll be as big and strong as the fleas in my girfriends house! Sent from iPhone

Couldn't have asked for a better service! Got a visit within 24h of contacting SCPC about mice in my flat, as I had caught two in traps. Frank walked around the building and pointed out all entry ways that needed fixing, as well as inside. He was fairly confident that treatment was not necessary, and therefore it would be best to not spend money unnecessarily on it for now. I felt very reassured and was very impressed with his integrity and professionalism. If the problem comes back, I will be sure to use SCPC again!

14th July 2023 - We noticed a Strong Smell from Bathroom & noises under the Bath - We called SCPC, and Steve Winner arrived at our house within the hour. He carried out a thorough inspection & clearly explained the cause was & how the problem could be resolved. He identified the cause as RAT INFESTATION under the bath & in the Loft. We accepted the quotation and he went to work immediately laying bait & traps under the bath & in the loft. 14th July Steve returned on to check the traps & identified the cause of the smell. 24th July 2023 - Frank Hayes carried out an internal inspection of all the drains to and from the property using a reeled probe with a camera and light which relayed images to a screen. I had a problem with rodents and was very upset. I contacted SCPC late on a Friday and was called back within 30 minutes and a visit and consultation arranged for the Monday. Frank arrived on time and was friendly and professional he made a very thorough investigation of my property both external and indoors. I had a smaller scale problem with rats mainly confined to loft area. He laid traps and bait, and so far has visited every week (3 visits so far) has been no activity since first baiting was done and he is due next week again. Hopefully if still no activity detected the problem has been resolved. I found the cost very fair and I totally recommend this business and would use again if a situation arose again. I can’t thank SCPC enough for their actions and also for calming my anxiety and explaining a lot of widely believed misconceptions of what causes rats to be in your home.

We had a problem with a pest in our loft. Called South Coast Pest Control, and they were here very promptly the next morning. Matt was excellent at checking out whole property for potential ways that pests could be getting into our loft, and completed a very good inspection of our loft. Didn’t find anything substantial, fortunately, but Matt was excellent at explaining what he was doing and the reasons we had thought there was an issue in our loft. First class service, and cannot recommend highly enough for anyone else needing pest control.
Had Ryan out as we had rats in the kitchen ,he visited,we didn’t feel we could live here whilst the place was in this state , and on second visit we were told that he worked for the landlord and they were his customer ,we have had rats actually in the kitchen and dining area where one was found to have died after eating the poison ,I enclose photos of how our kitchen is at present so you can make your own mind up but he has told our landlord and my partner who is about to undergo a period of chemotherapy that this kitchen is perfectly useable and although not ideal he’s gauging it on that he has seen worst ,not questioning his work but more his judgement

We received an excellent service from Frank at SCPC. He explained his strategy thoroughly, was clear about pricing and was very professional in everything that he did. He communicated well and was extremely conscientious about time-keeping. A rare tradesperson who goes "above and beyond". He even identified the early construction of a wasps' nest whilst checking the rodent traps and removed it. The service might seem a little expensive at first, but bearing in mind the number of visits, together with the drains survey, it was very good value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend him, or to use him again.

We had rats for some time and tried every solution we could find before admitting defeat and calling SCPC. Honestly wish I had done it straight away, as it probably would have saved us a fortune! We experienced rodents in our garage eating dog kibble. They were able to enter through the gap at the bottom of the door . Ryan has visited us on 4 occasions, laying and removing traps and disposing of rodents. We are very pleased with the service, very polite and friendly and explaining the procedure to us. I recently had a problem with rats in my home and contacted South Coast pest control after recommendation. I spoke to Frank on phone who was very helpful and arranged a visit from one of his team the next day. Ryan attended and I was immediately impressed by his knowledge, he is very friendly & put me at ease as I was very anxious about the situation. Particularly as just me & my daughter at home and we could see & hear them running round. He did a very thorough inspection and laid numerous dishes of poison capsules in strategic points & several traps. All the while being mindful of me & my daughters safety & that of our 2 kittens. The rats repeatedly took the poison so think it was a very large infestation. He visited every week to replace poison & further checks internally & externally, even next door. He gave me his mobile & I could call anytime if I had concerns between visits. He kept coming weekly for 6 weeks until we were sure that the problem had been eradicated. He was extremely competent & professional & really made an unpleasant experience so much easier & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him & South Coast pest control.

He undertook a visual inspection of the outside of the house to see if there was any wasp traffic and, after finding no evidence of a nest, inspected my loft space to double check that there was no nest. I contacted this company to book thier services for pest control expecting to spend a fair bit, but after speaking to Frank and agreeing to send photos of what I'd found, I had a call back explaining exactly what it was and that it wasn't nessesary to use thier services. I contacted South Coast Pest Control last week because of a high number of flies entering our house. They seemed to be coming from the loft as most flies were in on the top floor of the house. Frank replied to my phone call within about an hour and paid us a visit the next day. By, then, the volume of flies had dropped, having been really bad for a few days. Frank carried out an inspection inside the house and in the loft. He explained the probable cause and even got the particular fly identified. He was very professional and I would certainly call him again if needed.

We had a major issue with rats under our decking. It got to a point where they would come out during the day and used our garden for a bit of sun and downtime! And then they spread at a huge rate. SCPC were great guys that fixed the issue but had to come back many times. You just pay a one off fee until Roland and his family go to a place where they can truly relax for a long long time! Frank, solved our horendous Moth problem over the phone, I sent a picture of the Moth, he confirmed the type and that I could solve the problem without treatmet, his advise quickly solved the problem. I tried to pay for the advice, he wouldn't let me. Other companies wanted to spray the whole house twice for £450, without looking at the Moth!!!

Disturbed a Wasp nest early in the morning. First company to call back, within 10 minutes. Up-front about costs, arrived exactly on time and very thorough job clearing and spraying. Had people in the past just turn up, spray and leave but Matthew waited for a while and sprayed the returning wasps. Would highly recommend.
