RDS PAINTING & DECORATING

Richard was recommended to us by one of our neighbours and he did an excellent job of re painting the exterior of our Edwardian house. He also made the arrangements for the scaffolding (Crestel also would recommend) From start to finish he was polite, tidy and professional,. We would definitely use Tichard again for any decorating requirements.

Painted our house.. reliable, communicated in a timely manner, trustworthy and did a great job

Excellent quality decorating. Reliable, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.

Great communication and great service, very happy with the work completed by Richard.

Great work and really friendly and professional. 100% use again for any jobs in the future!

I have used Richard’s painting and decorating services for both internal and external works. The finish is brilliant and Richard himself is extremely professional, turns up when he says he will and gets the job done. I would recommend RDS Painting & Decorating without hesitation!

Turned up when he said he would. Finished the job with to a high standard. Clean, considerate and friendly. Would definitely use again.

Richard came and did a large job for me; living room, hallway and bathroom, which included all the walls, ceilings and woodwork. I couldn't be happier with his work, it looks incredible, and has transformed my home. So much so, I'm having him back to do a bedroom soon. Richard is polite, reliable and professional and I highly recommended him. Thank you for your hard work!

Richard and his colleague did a great job at short notice in painting interior walls and ceilings of our new house. Highly recommended.

Richard has decorated the whole of my house to a very high standard, always punctual and very tidy including dust free sanding. I would highly recommend his services.

Richard was always on time, very easy and professional to speak with, and did a great job painting the entire interior of my flat - including ceilings, all doors and woodwork, and all prep work. Clean and great result, thanks Richard!

Richard and his team did a great job painting our external woodwork and we are really happy with the results. They were clean and tidy and polite throughout the work, and the resulting job is very nicely and neatly done. From quote through to the date of completion Richard's communication was prompt and clear. He was entirely reliable and did what he said what he would do, when he said he would. We would definitely use this business again.

They are extremely friendly, hard working and do exactly what is says on the tin. Could not be more pleased. Neighbours must be impressed because they have asked for quotes.

Brilliant professional firm!! Have used Richard a few times now and the work is always top notch!

Richard transformed our kitchen into a bright contemporary space. The units had been hand made and installed in 1993. Over the years the look had become tired and dated, however, we could not bear to see these lovely wooden units pulled out and be replaced by modern chipboard. Specialist contractors installed lovely new worktops, some trim on the cabinet doors was removed to give a more modern appearance and then Richard was tasked with applying the modern paint colour. We are delighted with the finish and ‘cottage’ feel has been retained… all at a very reasonable cost.

Brilliant, professional decorator. Takes his time and great attention to detail. Will do and have recommended to people who need a decorator

Excellent work carried out on my lounge. It was clear to see that a very professional job was done and I would certainly use him again.

Richard decorated the lounge in our house. Excellent, thorough work. Used quality paints and dealt properly with cracked plaster, watermarks/damp marks with the correct products. Hard working and made sure it was done right. Recommended.

Mr Scott is excellent. The work, our exterior walls, is of very high quality. He came when he said he would and didn't when he said he couldn't, e.g torrential rain... Always friendly, tidy, and polite. We'll have no hesitation in asking him to do some internal paintwork in due course.

We’ve used Richard on a number of occasions as he always does a quality job, is competitively priced and is quick to respond. He’s done a great job again for us and we will be using him again!

Used Richard to decorate pretty much the whole inside of our house including all woodwork. Professional and speedy without compromising quality. Was accommodating and friendly with our dog too! Would recommend to anyone.

This is the second time we have employed Richard’s services to decorate the interior of our house (hall, stairs and landing/ two bedrooms and en-suite) and we are highly delighted with the results. Richard is friendly and professional and his work is meticulous and of a very high standard. We will be using Richard to finish off the rest of the inside of our house later in the year and have no hesitation in recommending him.

How could you NOT give this company your pride and joy to decorate. They are professional, punctual, and above all, lovely people

Great company to deal with. Reliable and professional, would definitely recommend them.

Richard made an excellent job of repainting the exterior walls of our pebble dashed cottage. His work was very professional and thorough, completed on time and budget and with no mess. I have no reservations in recommending him.

External paint/decoration of house including render, woodwork and doors. Very pleased with the finished product. Courteous and professional kept me informed throughout. Came back and checked over walls once scaffold removed and made good any marks. Would highly recommend.

Have used Richard's services before, which says a lot in itself. He continues to efficiently do a very good job, at a reasonable price, is fastidious, and is a pleasant guy as he goes about his work. Because he does a good job there's a downside for him - we won't need to employ him for a while!

The second time we've used RDS, and Richard Scott. This time for interior decoration of hall, staircase, lounge, master bedroom and downstairs loo. Excellent job. Richard was helped by cheery Raf, and so the job took five days Monday through Friday, beginning promptly at 0800 daily. Two coats emulsion on walls. Rub down, fill undercoat, and gloss on skirting, staircase rail and bannisters. Radiators too. Hassle free week with a great looking result. I wholeheartedly recommend RDS and Richard Scott for any business or home decoration, whatever the scale. Work completed in February 2017.

Richard and his colleagues did a superb job of painting two of our exterior walls and four of our rooms. Richard was very professional and was clear about what could (and couldn't) be done and the quote was competitive. Of the three quotes that we got we chose Richard as he was the most personable of the three providers and we haven't regretted the decision to go with him. We have no reservation in recommending him to others.

Richard was fantastic, very neat and great attention to detail. Stayed until the job was done - no sense that he was rushing or trying to juggle too many jobs. Lovely chap too, very trustworthy. Highly recommended.
