I have worked with many painters over the years but none match the quality and care Mike applies to his work. He is incredibly knowledgeable about how to ensure the walls are properly prepared before applying the right paint. He advised us on how to prevent several issues we had faced with water stains and cracks, and worked tirelessly to complete the work in the time he had given us. Most importantly- the work is spotless. The floors, furniture, artwork were carefully protected and he left the place spotless every day. Moreover he is incredibly polite and engaged easily with the whole- I will hire him again in the future. I have seldom been impressed by good workmanship and he stands out in his profession.

Mike redecorated our staircases into the first floor and loft, as well as walls and ceilings. He also painted our front door including frames. He worked in our home while we were away and sent us weekly reports. Cracks in the plaster were meticulously repaired and the surfaces were sanded and prepared before painting. We specifically asked if he could make sure the treads were safe underfoot so we won’t need to fit a carpet runner and the final result is just perfect! As a second job in our home, Mike painted the cabin in our garden and refurbished our wooden side gate. He researched the best products to offer wood protection and best finish and then mixed the paints in our chosen RAL colours. The finished work is excellent and we are confident it will last for years.

Unrivalled Professional There really are no words to describe Mi Decor work & professionalism. What a find! Water damage redecorating work This is the third time that we have used Mike to decorate in our flat, after water damage to paintwork. Every time he has been extremely professional, replies quickly, and arrives on time. The work is always high quality, neat, and he tidies up afterwards. After meeting Mi Decor on one of my projects and seeing how they work, i recommended him to one of my clients. Mike fully restored a huge walk in wardrobe for my clients using a high tech spraying system and pioneering air filtering system. Mike fully protected and masked the area and spent a long time sanding the area with his dustless sanding set up which not only kept dust from affecting our work but also our health The finish end result is a very high standard which is not easy to achieve (there are 'good' finishes and there are top pro finishes) and my clients are over the moon I can highly recommend Mi Decor!
A couple of years ago, Mike painted the exterior of our house and I wrote glowing reviews, including him being the best craftsman, of any trade, that we have ever employed. Now, he has just completed 4 rooms of interior decoration for us, and our regard for Mike has not changed, if anything is even higher. The fact that we allowed the long-ago booked interior decorating to go ahead, given these COVID times, is testament to our trust in Mike. He is meticulous in all things, including protecting our health and safety. Mike did hall, toilet, dinning and sitting rooms, all surfaces and built-in cupboards, including some significant wall repair and replastering. He ensured that dust and dirt was kept to a minimum, using some sophisticated air filtration equipment and careful protection of furniture and shelving units (meaning that large numbers of books, vinyl records, CD, etc did not need to me moved). His preparation work is very thorough (I lost track of how many coats of sealer, primer, undercoat, etc were applied), and his top-coat applications are highly skilled. The materials Mike uses are knowledgably and carefully selected, and of the highest quality. The end results are excellent, in all respects. I wholeheartedly recommend his services.
Reading other reviews here and on Checkatrade gave me confidence to contact Mike requesting a quote to paint the exterior of our building which was in a poor state. From the moment I met him I knew I had found an absolute gem. I had never felt so confident of a worker before. Friendly, bright, professional, knows his stuff and totally passionate to do the best job possible. He uses best materials and equipment for the job. Arriving punctually every morning he worked without so much as a break across the whole day, never wilted or paused in spite of working outside against a bright white wall in scorching 32 degrees sunshine for hours on end. In the morning he'd summarise what he'd do that day, and at the end of the day he talked & walked me through what he'd done...At the end of the week he provided photographs of the works' progression. He's been absolutely BRILLIANT, a joy to have around with his honest cheerful personality, and works like a Trojan producing amazing results. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He's outstanding.

Mike has again more than proven his stellar reputation in completing the agreed work scope to the highest possible standards. Its not just his fabulous work ethic and attitude but also a function of his extensive expertise in a wide variety of materials / processes and his perfectionism in applying the latest techniques and materials and his top of the range investment in equipment for wood refurbishment/replacement and painting / redecoration that produces a product that cant be matched ! Mike has just completed the final part of my house renovation As always his work is first class - no short cuts, everything done beautifully. He has transformed the staircase, hall, landing and porch and painted and sanded the living area floor. Mike plans everything carefully in advance with no last-minute changes, and as usual he has been super-punctual despite traffic and weather problems.
