I don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed with Ian. I had to praise his workmanship.. I had problems with our front door lock and back patio door. He fixed both within the hour despite the patio door being more complicated he found a way round it and i cant believe how easily it locks now I would highly recommend him.Very knowledgeable and professional.

Fantastic friendly service. I called Ian because I needed my mother-in-law’s door repaired in Reading. Unfortunately, I live near Sheffield around 150 miles away. Ian explained our options and possible costs. He arrived at the property around 90 minutes later and repaired the door quickly with replacement parts very quickly. I’d recommend Link Locksmith Services without hesitation.

Key snapped in my lock at 8pm, arrived within 20 mins, got the door open and locks changed, extra new keys cut within next next 30 mins. Friendly and clearly an expert of his trade. Hope I don't need him again any time soon but would absolutely use again.

I contacted Link Locksmith Services with an enquiry about fitting a Key Safe. The quote for a good, solid piece of kit was acceptable and Ian turned up inside a couple of days to install it. Job done I then mentioned that a uPVC door was causing some grief and Ian offered to have a look. For a small additional fee he fixed both that problem and also sorted out another set of uPVC doors there and then. Have to say that I'm delighted with Ian's work. Thoroughly recommended.

Same day service and the issue was resolved exactly as he'd estimated, as a bonus he spotted an issue with my front door that he fixed too (no extra charge as it was well within the hour). I highly recommend this locksmith. We could not lock the front door, so I found Ian in the Tilehurst directory. After checking online and seeing the well deserved 5 star reviews, I had no hesitation in phoning him. Ian arrived in about 20 minutes. He is very professional, polite and friendly (with a Father Christmas beard). He took the trouble to take the lock apart and repair it. He could have just replaced the lock, which would have been easier for him, and would have cost me a lot more. I cannot praise him enough. Don't bother phoning anyone else if you have a lock problem.

Ian was friendly, helpful and fixed our front door at a very reasonable price. He was very adaptable so when he found an existing problem with the door he was able to fix it quickly. Great experience. Ian was very clear up front about rates as well as giving me potential costs to resolve my issue (which allowed me to make a "buy new or repair" decision there and then). He attended within the hour (as agreed) and as it turned out was able to make an even cheaper repair than expected!
