I assisted Eddie from EA Locksmiths Portsmouth last week on a 2 man locksmith job. Hes a great locksmith, stop scrolling and give him a bell!
Eddie came to my rescue yesterday,as I had left the key in the inside part of the door , so unable to gain access. He was prompt in arriving, just over half an hour. Fixed the problem. We also got him to change the type of locks on front and back doors. He also cut some sets of keys in his van. Only charged £5 per set of 3. I highly recommend Eddie as a professional and skilled person. ,

My Jaguar’ battery completely died so I couldn’t open the doors. A roadside mechanic then snapped the emergency key off in the lock. Helen from EA Locksmiths attended within an hour, not only extracted the broken key but got access to the car. A friendly and very, very efficient service. I can’t praise their service enough.

Had a great experience with Eddie and co. I had an issue that originally looked like it was going to require a whole new locking mechanism but Eddie came out and managed repaired the old one and saved us the cost of a new one. In half hour the door was back working like new all for a single call out fee. He also adjusted all the trims ands rollers to get rid of some drafts we'd had for years. Would use again.

Super! The locksmith arrived at our house within an hour. He successfully opened our front door, which had a tough titanium lock, without causing any damage to our door/property. He accepted payment by card and emailed me a PDF invoice. Additionally, he was very cooperative in processing a refund for costs passed on to a third party. I seriously can not recommend Eddie enough, after stupidly locking myself out of the house with a baby and an autistic teenager he came and literally saved us within 20mins. I cant thank him enough, I was trying to stay calm so as not to distress my son bit I was silently panicking that we would have to wait 5 hours for the landlord to bring a spare key. Our supurrrr hero! I own a cat sitting company in Portsmouth and unfortunately for the first time in over 5 busy years one my sitters misplaced a customers door key. A series of unfortunate events meant there were no spare keys available, the customer had just had a brand new super duper door installed and they were thousands of miles away on holiday. I called a couple of locksmiths who werent very helpful but Eddie was amazing. He sprung into action and evaluated the lock and the situation straight away. He gave me all the options available to us and over the 24 hours helped gain temp access to the property (and the cat) and changed the locks. He even dropped my sitter to and from the key cut shop to pick up keys. I honestly have no idea what we would have done without him. His fast action and communication meant we were able to continue to provide our top class customer service to our customer despite the circumstances. Thank you Eddie!

Eddie is a legend !! My son was on a long cycling tour and managed to break the bicycle lock which stopped it unlocking. Called Eddie and he came out straight away to sort it and what’s more he didn’t even charge for his time ! It’s like the 4th emergency service ! My front door malfunctioned and got stuck in the locked position leaving my wife locked in with the kids an me left out in the cold. Took on a job that was out of the norm from his day to day, my 68plate car I placed a full cover steering lock on to be safe and I left the key at home (3 hours drive away) He managed to get the job done with no trace he had been there, came out on a Sunday and was with me within 15 minutes of my call. Flawless service - called out early Sunday morning on a bank holiday weekend, arrived in under 20 minutes, had the door open in under 5, and very reasonable callout charge. I wouldn't recommend locking yourself out, but I would recommend calling this chap if you do.

What a lifesaver!! Eddie managed to get to me in bang on 20 minutes. I’d left my keys locked away at the office and even though my front door was a fairly complicated lock, Eddie managed to pick it open in less than 5 minutes!! The time between realising I’d left my key behind whilst on the bus to sitting down on the sofa with a cup of tea was only about 40 mins. Couldn’t have been better 10/10

This man is nothing short of magical. After accidentally losing my keys I called numberous national companies and got quoted 2 hours waiting with a 299 bill (plus vat) This chap was round within 15 minutes, was into the house in a scary 60 seconds and cost only £80 (with a very well deserved tip) Highly recommended for service, speed, price and a bit of friendly banter. Had an absolute nightmare this morning and stupidly locked myself out of my flat. As I’m a bit thick and don’t have a spare stashed somewhere I obviously realized that I was in a bit of trouble. I considered kicking the door down but having the strength of a wet paper bag I knew this wouldn’t work so I decided to Google a Locksmith. Saw the review for EA Locksmiths and gave him a call. He was with me within 30 minutes and I was back in the flat in around 5 minutes. No damage to the lock and didn’t have to replace it either which would have been costly. Eddie came out less than an hour after I called him. Answered his mobile, which is a winner for me at the first attempt to contact him. He immediately was able to tell me what was wrong with my patio door lock and mended it efficiently with a new locking system he carried in his van. I knew the full cost before agreeing to have the work completed. In addition, he changed another lock very reasonably and mended our long overdue cloakroom door lock, where the latch had broken. At all times he was friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use him again. My friend had also used him for her rental property several months before and I had remembered she had told me how kind he had been when her house had damaged by previous tenants as well as quickly changing all the locks.
