Martin and his team have done several jobs at my rental property over the last few years, including a new bathroom, new kitchen and most recently a complete refurbishment and redecoration of the rest of the house after the tenants moved out. The new kitchen and bathroom jobs were done with the tenants in-situ and Martin was very accommodating to their lifestyle. Martin listened to my brief and did the work as asked. He suggested some changes and discussed unforeseen problems, but didn't push me to agree to anything I did not want. Martin made a real effort to ensure that I was happy with the work and went over and above what I would have expected to get everything done in the time available. I would recommend!

Martin recently did my bathroom, I found his services through a friend’s recommendation . He completely gutted and rebuilt the bathroom including re positioning the plumbing. The process was smooth from start to finish (for me I mean 👀, he probably has something to say about my choice of tiles), he listened to what I wanted, the design details, the layout, etc and made it happen in time and on budget and advised me accordingly when something was unnecessary or not possible. He always kept the work area as clean and tidy as a building site can be. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend his services to anyone. (Don’t mind the paint job, I haven’t settled on a colour yet)

Martin and the team at MK Building Contractors have just completed a full kitchen for us — a complete rip-out and refit including new units, worktops, appliances, plumbing, electrical and tiling. This is the second time we’ve used him, having had our bathroom done last year, and we didn’t hesitate to bring him back. The quality of the work is excellent, and Martin has a great eye for detail. He arrived early each morning and got the job done in a good timeframe. He’s good at keeping you up to date with progress and is always at the end of the phone if we had a question. We made a few changes during the work and every one was handled with complete transparency and fairness. Martin is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and consistently keen to go over and above what’s asked. We’re really pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him. Highly recommended.

Clearly a very experienced professional, Martin did an excellent job refurbishing our bathroom, with his attention to detail and commitment to a quality finish. Despite ours being a relatively small job he went the extra mile to achieve the best result, communicating clearly and making useful suggestions. He was flexible when having to work around another contractor and was always respectful of our requirements. We would certainly engage him again and can recommend him without reservation.
