Andy and his team did an excellent job on my new patio hard working and completed the job in a timely manner. Really pleased with the finished job.

We engaged Ground Force to replace a very old garden path, patio and steps which were in terrible condition. We also asked them to build a new patio in another corner of the garden. On top of that, we needed two fences replacing, one 6 foot close panel fence in the back garden and another 3 foot high fence in our front garden. Dealing with Andy was a dream – he was very open and full of suggestions and ideas for the work we needed when discussing the job, having a real can-do attitude. Once the job began, he was easy to communicate with and very responsive when we had questions. The team were also very flexible, as we had to ask them to pause the work for a week which was not a problem for them at all. Our job was a particular pain as access to our back garden is not good, and our garden is on two levels which made the job much more difficult and manual. The team of lads were fantastic, working fast and with great quality We are really happy with the results and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ground Force to anyone.

They recently completed a large landscaping job for me digging out and laying a new pathway, patio area complete with Acre drains, sleeper walls and also installed a new fence. Did a good job, laid a large patio of porcelain tiles and took up some artificial turf and replaced with real turf. Did a good job very pleased with the outcome. Very reasonably priced too compared to other quotes we received.

We recently had an outbuilding removed, a large patio removed and the patio replaced, some old fencing removed and replaced and a garden gate fitted.. From start to finish is was a pleasure to deal with Andy and his team, from the ease of receiving the initial quote to the completion of the work. The team worked very hard and were clearly experienced and professional in what they did, they were tidy and removed all the waste, and all the work was completed without any problems. Andy had previously been employed to dig up and lay herringbone paviers outside 9 houses. This was a difficult job which he handled extremely well. In view of this we asked him to quote for relaying our front path and creating a patio in our back garden. We told him the basic shape and he designed a fabulous patio. We are extremely pleased with his work and highly recommend him to you.

We needed some minor repair to pointing and a broken slab replaced. The quality of the work was very poor, the grey pointing they put on did not match the existing buff colour, and the repaired slab join was awful with lots of cement left on the edges of the slab. Despite an Email to the office, which was ignored, and 3 consecutive daily calls to get Andy to come back and fix the problem, this did not happen and 3 weeks later we are still left with a very botched job. We were charged what we were led to believe was a whole days work, which was actually completed in 2.5 hours. Cannot recommend and would not use again

I highly recommend Groundforce for driveway installation. Andy was great, from start to finish, I had regular phone calls throughout the project informing me re the next stage and how long it will take. During, I can imagine, very busy period my driveway was completed within 6 days (as agreed and expected). The finished job looks amazing, the ground was professionally levelled and compacted with heavy machinery, the tarmac was laid by several members of staff, I could see that were very experienced and professional. The price was very competitive comparing to other companies I got quotes from. Honestly, one of the best companies I have worked with for a while. We used Ground Force earlier this year to refresh our driveway. We had a lot of overgrown trees and thick cement that needed to be removed which Andy dealt with for us as part of the quote which saved us having to contact another contractor. The work completed by the team was great and Andy showed up each day to ensure we were happy with the progress which kept us informed through the process. Amazing value for what you get. Will be using again in the future.

Avoid this cowboy like the plague. Messed me around for weeks. Left me with an unfinished patio (hole in my garden) and wonky, unsecured fencing. Asked me for £700 extra for my choice of patio stones the day before the job was due to start (it had been booked in for months), also requested an advance cash payment after a week of on/off work with not much achieved. Ground Force is not a sizeable company (as it presents itself using a hired office to answer calls) but actually one man and an unskilled team of casual labourers, plus his sons hanging around doing nothing. A terrible experience from start to finish- never turned up when he said, was going to lay my patio without a hardcore underlayer (the man in the shop had advised me how it should be done and to double check he did it correctly - he didn't). Finally I had had enough and sent him off my property. I think this could have been a case of sexism as I am a single woman, therefore clearly not to be treated with professionalism or respect.

I hired Ground Force to pave two small patio gardens. One was mud and weeds and the other badly paved by a previous owner. Andy's team removed old paving, dug out excess soil then fitted geotextile, MOT type 1 and a good layer of concrete under slabs. Job included steps, drain covers etc and all was done professionally in my opinion. They came back and pointed slabs with cement. Site was left clean and tidy. All in all I'm very happy with the end result and particularly the speed in which it was done. I would certainly use them again.

We needed 5 trees to be removed as part of this project along with a lot of tarmac & soil broken up and removed - they did all this part in one day! Thameside residents contracted groundforce to lay block paving replacing an existing hard standing. They completed the work to time and on budget providing a high quality finish that is standing up well to the weather and constant use. We commend Andy, as the boss, for turning up every day and dealing with any issues professionally and thoroughly. His team were highly competent tradesmen who worked hard and showed great consideration to both residents and the public who might otherwise have been inconvenienced. Left me with a sinking path and sloping patio, first time my car went on the drive the paving gave way. Keeps promising to fix it, never comes back and never returns calls. Unreliable crooks. Save your money, go with a reputable firm recommended by your building merchant. They won’t be on the list for a reason.

Andy and his guys at Ground Force Paving Ltd did a fantastic job completely re-doing my driveway. Andy was extremely responsive throughout and quoted a fair price. The work was extremely precise and of the highest quality.

great. She didn't try to sell something I didn't need. Straightforward and honest, I would work with her again. It was very easy to get set the job set up, all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

We hired Ground Force Paving for our driveway work but Andrew subcontracted the work to another company. The team on the job wasn't skilled enough, they buried neighbours water meters under the driveway, couldn't install paving in a straight line let alone on a curved side, timekeeping wasn't a word in their dictionary. After a lot of patch fixes during the work our driveway work was finally completed and Andrew handed out the guarantee. Now the driveway is unravelling and has sunk in many places while still in guarantee. Andrew no longer responds to messages and his guarantee isn't worth the paper it's written on. Andrew promises a lot but falls short on quality of work and aftercare is non existent.

Andy was very thorough and professional at the way he prepared and complete my front and back garden. This was on time with good value and very trustworthy. His team did go the extra mile to adhere to our wishes. We would highly recommend him and his team for block paving and landscaping work.

We used GroundForce for our new block paved driveway, and I would definitely recommend them. GroundForce have done a lot of work in our area, so we were able to see their work and speak to other customers about their experience beforehand. Everyone we spoke to gave Andy & his team great reviews, and we second what they said. His team are very hard working and dedicated to leaving a very professional finish. Andy comes round every day, at least once, to check on the work to make sure its up to standard & everything is going to plan. They were also flexible & able to change plans at the 11th hour as my neighbour asked about getting his drive done at the same time & Andy was more than happy to do this. Worked with Andy and the team on a driveway at our house. Completely removed the old hedging, the whole base tarmac/gravel drive and built the new wall, block paved the whole area. Well priced, easy to work with, delighted by the result.

Andy and his team replaced our original block paved frontage, which had been laid in two parts and it showed, with a new one piece frontage in Trio blocks. They responded quickly to my requests for minor changes, in response to small problems as they arose. We now have a much better looking frontage. Very impressed with the speed and workmanship.

Very impressed with the Ground Force team. We had old paving removed and concrete drive broken up and all replaced with paving and flowerbeds. A patio at the back of the garden was repointed and another patio was taken up along with an adjacent concrete path and all replaced with Indian sandstone paving. The work was completed in a week and was supervised by Andy who appeared several times a day checking on progress, the men were very hard working. Andy and his team removed our concrete and shingle driveway as well as our old patio pathway and replaced it all with charcoal block paving. We had our drive done in the frist week of January. Old drive dug up and new tarmac drive put in. Despite the weather being awfull the team worked hard and did a great job.

Andy and his crew have made a wonderful job of replacing my raised decking with an Indian Sandstone patio, they have completed the work now and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Andy and his crew, he is one of the few tradesmen that I have come across that actually abides by his word. I have been that impressed by his work that I have commissioned him to reinstate my driveway as the previous contractor that did it 2 to 3 years ago made a such a bad job of it.
