Gardens Of Distinction

We are very happy with the garden that Damian and Nat created for us. They were very conscientious and paid attention to every detail. Nothing was too much trouble in getting everything just right which we really appreciated. When finished everywhere was left very clean and tidy. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Damian and his skilled team at Gardens of Distinction have just completed a fantastic garden project for us. Our garden has been completely transformed and wowed everyone who has seen it. Damian has that rare blend of being highly creative and yet pragmatic when it comes to executing a design. He is an excellent communicator who genuinely listened to what was important to us. He is also a highly skilled project manager, making sure that deadlines were met and work completed within budget to a very high standard. We are absolutely delighted with our new garden and are already talking to Damian about an exciting Phase 2!

After moving into a new build, I had no idea where to start with my garden. Damian gave great advice and my garden has been completely transformed. The team have a professional attitude, always polite and helpful taking pride in their work. Despite the freezing weather conditions on some days, the men worked hard all day and were meticulous in their standard of work. I have received quality service with excellent attention to detail. I would highly recommend Damian and his team.

We feel very blessed to have found Gardens of Distinction and Damien. From the outset he listened to what we wanted to create, he designed our garden and brought our vision to life. His work is truly first class and I can't recommend him enough. He is the very best in the business and his attention to detail is perfect!

We called Damian for advice on transforming a large bed in our front garden, to make it look lovely and to encourage pollinators. Though it was a relatively small job, he we responded very swiftly and advised us so knowledgeably on what planting would work well in our shady area. He obtained all the plants required, and he and his team cleared the bed, designed and planted it, going above and beyond to add a couple of large pots at the front of our house. It all looks lovely, and we can’t wait to see it grow and flourish. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Damian.

Excellent job on my complete small garden "re-vamp". Cannot recommend highly enough. Very happy with the result

Picking Damian and his skilled team to transform our garden was a great decision. What they delivered for us was better than our expectations and resolved all the issues the land presented; an infestation of bamboo, a cluttered spaced with uneven levels and unusable spaces. Damian knows how to make outside spaces work. We now have a beautiful and usable garden delivered to us ahead of time and on budget. Thank you!

We presented Damian and his team with a challenge - an overgrown and crowded garden which was impossible to relax in. The team have been hard at it, kept to all the deadlines set and risen to all challenges with a cheery attitude. I'm very much looking forward to sharing the results of this large project in due course and would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the team.

We first made contact with Gardens of Distinction after seeing them working locally and looking at their website. We liked what we saw and gave Damian a call. We just had a couple of asks for our garden re design but were happy to leave the main aspects of the design with Damian to see how he felt we could make the best of the space we had. We loved the design which incorporated our asks but then added much more including the use of corten steel planters to add in additional levels to the garden and also suggested using a metal pergola on the larger patio area. The whole design flowed matching in the colours of the corten steel with the bronze colouring strata in the slate monolith water feature. The grey of the slate then matched in with the pergola and fence colour. Really well thought through design. Damian, Nat, Phil and Wilf worked extremely hard on the garden landscaping over a the period of a few weeks. Their workmanship and attention to detail was incredible and every aspect of the job was done with skill and care. The suggested planting scheme is beautiful and we are absolutely delighted with the finished garden! I would also add that Damian is very transparent with all costs and you know exactly where your money is going - very refreshing to deal with someone so open and honest. A massive thank you to all of the team. We are so pleased and are looking forward to making much more use of our garden space in the future. Thank you!

Damien has been amazing with our garden. His ability to create impact and a stunning design has been incredible. Without him we wouldn't have the garden we have. He's so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Thank you Damian.

I cannot speak highly enough of Nat, Damian and Phillip. From design through to completion the attention to detail and pure high quality of work has been evident. Our garden has now become an additional "room" in the house and will be utilized in summer and winter months. From adding much required drainage and electrics to the oak pillars and carefully selected planting and shrubs, every detail was considered. We know feel like we have a garden to be proud of and one that nature is already enjoying..our birds and hedgehogs have already moved in. These guys are experts and a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful garden transformation designed, planned and built by hardworking, efficient and patient team. Looking forward to spring when the imaginative planting will be able to show its potential!!

I have been dealing with Damien, we haven’t started with the landscaping process , however his advice has been invaluable. With out him I would not have know I had issues on a new build garden that I needed to be rectified. He has lot of good knowledge and as a good landscaper gives really good advice and knows his stuff. I would definitely recommend him.

You get all that from Gardens of Distinction. Damian was responsive and helpful from the start to the end of the project. Overwhelmed by my blank canvas of a garden, I turned to Damian and his team who have put down the foundations of a lovely planting scheme and I cant wait to see it develop. Thank you!

Damien and his team have transformed our back garden from tired and shabby into a beautifully designed modern garden. Everything has been done with meticulous attention to detail, and we're delighted with the result.

Damien and Nathan did a great job of our garden. I could tell from the start Damien took his work seriously- he came over a few times to think through the plan. We got exactly what we were promised at exactly the price we were promised. At no point was there any messing around. This is not a cheap and cheerful company, but it the finished outcomes are high quality. The guys are obviously very hard working. I would certainly use Gardens of Distinction again.

Great end result! Took some time because of bad weather etc but the guys worked hard and definitely went the extra mile! Very pleased with the results! Better than expected. Good honest workers, who were a pleasure to have around.

Damion and his team did a great job of rejuvenating our tired old patio. From suggestions as to how it could be done through to execution, we were kept informed every step of the way. We would recommend this company without any hesitation.

Damian is a passionate, creative plantsman who has got amazing vision. His knowledge of plants is incredible and I always trusted his instinct - and he never disappointed. Working under really tight deadlines, Damian remained cheerful and positive and the results are absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended.

Damien and his team are knowledgeable and hard working. They provided a prompt solution that reflected an excellent understanding of the solution I required. I am very happy with the trees and shrubs they recommended for a clay soil garden and they have significantly enhanced the look of my garden. Thank you

Damian and his team provided exemplary service of the highest quality from the initial meeting. This extended beyond just a creative and efficient design, and first class execution by his team, but also fantastic support, providing explanations behind certain decisions, advice on further care and ideas for future work. I gave Damian a blank canvas for the design, giving him the creative freedom to produce something great, and I am very glad I did so. The level of planning into every micro decision was incredible, from the choice of plants, their positioning, how they would get sun, as well as ensuring the garden would look just as good from every angle, including from above. He made sure my input was still valued, when discussing things like stone choice, choices between plants he think would work well, etc. Huge thank you to Nat + Sam who did an amazing job in the execution, real friendly guys, and everyone else who had a part in this garden. I have no doubt I will be relying on them again in the future, and look forward to it. Thank you all for building me something special. (And the BBQ will be going on the gravel don't worry)

Damien was excellent. He completely redesigned our garden to make better use of the evening sun and turned it from a boring space to the best room in our house. As long as it’s not raining we are sitting in our garden now. Incredible imagination, great workmanship and a really fair price. We would recommend.

Damian and his team recently completed a full garden design and landscaping project for us. They did a superb job from start to finish and we are so happy with the results. The team are exceptionally hard working and reliable. Our garden is north facing and does not get a huge amount of sunshine. Damian created an amazing and unique design which makes the best possible use of the sunny areas and has a huge variety of gorgeous plants. It's an oasis of calm and relaxation for us and we are so grateful to the team for our beautiful garden which we can really enjoy.

My neighbours recently had their garden designed and all work completed by this company and I would like to commend them for the excellent workmanship. An attractive, landscaped garden with unusual features is the very attractive result.

Excellent service from start to finish. Provided advice on achieving best outcome but working within my set budget. All took pride in the standard of their workmanship. A very happy customer. Well done Damian, Nathan, Jordan.

We got in touch with Damien as we wanted to have an additional patio put into our garden to make the most of where the sun was. He came over and helped design a garden we were happy with, and that also suited our budget. Damien kept in constant contact, with dates for the work to be carried out. and when the materials would be delivered. And now within a short space of time, we have a beautiful new garden, that completely fulfils what we wanted. Damien is very professional, but also flexible and willing to help and offer ideas, and the lads worked very hard in making sure everything was how we wanted it. We are very pleased.

Damien has drawn up a design for our garden that is absolutely fantastic. We are just blown away with the ideas he has come up with to deal with the strange shape and levels that we have in our garden and his ideas for working to our budget. I enjoy looking at his many projects on his website, seeing the starting point and the incredible finished project. Every one different, everyone amazing. But with our design he has truly excelled himself. We absolutely love it. I knew it would be different, I knew it would be visionary, because that's the man he is, but it's more than I could ever have imagined. We feel very lucky to know him.

From start to finish Damian (gardens of distinction) has been fantastic. He created a vision and design that has transformed a concrete miss levelled, odd shaped, back yard into a beautiful zoned, interesting, restful, garden retreat. He and his team are respectful, clear up after themselves, completely trustworthy and true craftsmen that take pride in the end result. They are open about their costings so you can see how quotes are made up. I recommend this company and specifically Damian to anyone who wants a garden transformation - outstanding!!

A great company to deal with. They listened to what I would like and improved my ideas tremendously. The workmanship is amazing and the workers polite and hardworking. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

Done a great job very fast and reliable would highly recommend them to anyone

We invited Damien to design a garden for our new build house. He designed the garden and talked us through it. It was very clear how passionate he is about gardens. We are very pleased with our finished garden completed by Damien and his team. In keeping with his vision the garden includes lo of plants of various sizes and your eyes are drawn to different angles and the pagoda frames different views. He kept me updated and explained everything to me. We are looking forward to relaxing and enjoying our garden.

Seen some of their work at my dentist on my last visit, the dentist was eager to show off their new garden. I must say it was stunning, beautiful water feature and the rest of the garden was very slick had a nice contemporary look.

The garden has become a sanctuary. The beautiful pond which looks so natural, with water splashing over the stones, and the shapes of the garden are stunning and set off the planting. It has exceeded my expectations.

Our garden has been absolutely transformed! It now is so modern, full of colour and life. The team were very friendly and put everything into the job. We let them take artistic reign over the garden, which was definitely the right decision as they have an excellent artistic vision. The plants are so beautiful and everything is planted in such a neat and intentional way. My favourite elements are the water feature they installed in our pond and the wooden pagoda they built which our roses will climb. I was so shocked to see a picture of our old garden - it is totally unrecognisable!
