Communication was excellent from start to finish, making the whole process easy and stress free. We initially had Dave visit to provide a quote, and his knowledge, expertise, and friendly, down to earth approach really stood out and gave us confidence to go ahead. Once the work began, Harrison and the team were incredibly efficient while still being thorough and attentive to detail. It was clear they take pride in doing things properly and never compromise on quality. Having recently moved home, I needed my garden sorting. The wall around my tree needed removing and replacing, and I needed an area for my plants to be planted. I also wanted some lawn and old slabs removed and replaced with gravel. After getting a few quotes, I knew that Dave, Harry and their team were the right people to do my job! Having read a number of positive reviews of D&M, we decided to get them to quote to pave our rear garden. Dave came out to see us within a few days and submitted a detailed plan and costing. It was a change to be advised that we did not need to pay a deposit and would only pay once we were satisfied with the work. Having agreed to proceed we had to wait several months as they were already booked up so the work took place in December! The weather wasn't the kindest, which meant a delayed start. However, once they were able to work, the whole team worked hard to get the job done. We were very impressed with how polite they all were - very refreshing these days! We had to ask them to come back to adjust a step, and Harry and Jamie sorted it out to our total satisfaction. Thanks also for managing to dig up and replant my salvia! The end result is excellent and we would certainly have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

I recently had my big front garden wall rebuilt by D & M Garden Services, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and reliable. D&M Gardening Services have just completed work in my parents garden, which involved replacing an old patio and rebuilding retainer walls, steps and a path across the lawn. From the first call to arrange for Dave to come round and provide a quote through to completion of work by Harry and the team, the service provided was faultless. Dave was really knowledgeable during the design phase, responding to all emails within hours (no matter what time the emails were sent!) On site, Harry and the team turned up on time and were tidy and respectful. Mum commented on Harry's 'incredible work ethic' more than once! And I always felt like my parents were in safe hands. The work was carried out to a high standard and the end result was beautiful. Excellent job - I would have no issue in using D&M again or in recommending to others.

I am very dissatisfied with some landscaping which you did for me about 7 years ago,the slabs are loose and grouting between the slabs is breaking up .

DMGS were strongly recommended to me - I can see why. Dave came out promptly to look at landscaping my new build garden and offered various design choices and useful input based upon extensive experience. Very comprehensive quote (and plan) followed in short order for a fair price. I have not been asked to pay a penny until I was happy work was complete - and I am very happy. Harry and the lads completed the work meticulously to a very high standard with strong attention to detail. An old drive was dug out and remade with setts to a high standard. Attention to detail and considerate working practices: A need for new fencing and a need to remove dangerous old wooden decking erected over uneven and broken paved area. The decking was removed the surface levelled and a new stone patio with steps and guardrails installed for my elderly mother's garden. The area of work was not straight forward but Dave gave helpful advice as well as indicating where replacement work was not needed. This work was organised by me at a distance but Dave from D&M visited when he knew I was in Coventry ... I suspect he made a special journey so that i would know who was working on my mother's property. His team made sure the steps were a suitable height and depth for my mother and also that the guardrails were at a height that was advantageous to her. The work is of high quality and there were some extras and finnishing touches that were not expected and more importantly not charged for. I have no hesitation in commending D&M for their expertise, workmanship and pricing.

Excellent service from start to finish. Dave came round to look and quote for a complete back garden and driveway renovation and was so helpful giving very useful suggestions and ideas. He provided me with the quote promptly and was quick to answer any questions I had. D & M Garden Services replaced my front garden with a new driveway in April. I selected Tobermore Manhattan as my block choice. This is a little different from the normal traditional block design using different sized blocks. D & M Garden Services were excellent before, during and after installation. Dave assisted me in selecting my blocks before installation, which was great. He also keep me informed with expected installation dates and any potential delays due to weather. (Weather was partially bad leading up to my installation.) During the installation the team was very professional. The quality of the work was very good and team kept the site clean and very polite to neighbours etc. I will hopefully be moving house in the next year or two and if i need a new drive/etc I will engaging D & M Garden Services again.

D&M garden provided a great service to me both in terms of building the patio and maintaining it. After 12 months there were some partial issues with grouting because of ants and insects but Harry and Jamie fixed it for me as part of warranty service. Great customer service, I'd recommend them!

Had the pleasure of selecting D&M garden services to implement our vision of a suitable base surrounding a climbing frame which looked pleasing to the eye but also provided safety/ a landscaped patio and seating area with raised planters and also large area for fencing. Right from the start Dave and Harrison were very knowledgeable and forthcoming with any potential issues that might arise with the terrain and landscape to work on. The team lead by Harrison was first class and worked tirelessly to achieve what we had in mind even when I asked for tweaks they accommodated especially around the fencing work which was very challenging with the land they had to manoeuvre. Harrison and team were very job proud and wanted to get the best lines possible with tile cuts etc. and delivered a first class job. Very happy customer.

We all know how difficult it can be in this day and age to find a decent contractor who will do a good job for a reasonable price, so these guys really are a breath of fresh air! D&M garden services was the fourth and final business I contacted for a quote. After reading reviews and looking through pictures of their previous projects, they were the preferred option, so it came down to the price. Dave came out promptly to measure up. I told him what I wanted, and he offered some good advice. By far the most professional quote I received with a plan and breakdown of costs which were reasonable enough for me to proceed. Harry and his lads have done a remarkable job transforming my garden. These guys are highly motivated and obviously take a lot of pride in what they do. I did ask for a slight change to the plan, and they were happy to oblige. They offered good advice and kept me updated throughout the project from beginning to end. My garden gate unfortunately took a bit of damage getting the digger in, but the lads have fixed everything and even refitted it to a better standard than it was previously. Once the project was complete, they cleared up after themselves and left everywhere neat and tidy. The price quoted was the price I paid, and they do not ask for a penny until the works are complete and you are 100% satisfied with the finished article. Overall, I am absolutely over the moon with the service D&M garden services has provided and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. D&M finished our rear garden hard landscaping 7 weeks ago. I left the review so I could spend time with the finished product and absorb the whole experience. David, Harrison and his team delivered everything we wanted to an extremely high standard, even allowing us to make alterations while they were here, knowing it would affect their diary and future jobs by 2 days as it was a significant addition. I am having D&M back for my front next year and am looking forward to seeing what they construct there. I have to say from quote to completion that everything was perfect, even the quote which I had three different companies give me, Davids knowledge, presentation and clarification made the others seem almost amature like with there quotes and presentation. We also liked no deposit or any money until D&M were finished and we were happy with the garden, they were the only company that offered that and showed us their confidence in delivering exactly what we asked them to do. Before commissioning D & M Gardening Services I had arranged for a number of quotations for work to be undertaken. Dave provided a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of all works and gave recommendations regarding the aesthetic appearance of the finished works. My wife chose to use D&M Gardening Services after some extensive research and being let down by some other companies. We contacted them in April and within days they were at our property talking us through our different options. We were promptly emailed a detailed quote and and the costs of all of the options that we had discussed. The team were very efficient and communicated well throughout the whole process and we booked them to start work in July. The job we wanted doing was to replace our decking with composite, have 2 new patio areas, replace the sleepers and have some artificial grass laid. We are over the moon with our new looking garden and we cannot thank the team enough for all of their hard work. D & M Garden services are a 1st class company. From the moment we first contacted them to the finish of the job we couldn't fault them. When Dave came out to do the estimate he was very upfront with us suggesting things and explaining things such as which were the better materials. He was very knowledgeable. He explained that with the amount of work they had it could be up to 3 months before the work could commence, and that he didn't want any money upfront. He didn't want paying until the work was completed and that we were satisfied. Harry and his team of lads went about their work very professionally. They kept us informed of what they were doing and would run things by us if they were unsure about anything. They left everywhere tidy at the completion and took all the rubbish away. D&M Garden Services completed our garden re-design last week and we’re very happy with the result. We’ve had 2 patios installed and a setts brick edge around the lawn. We wanted a company with a good reputation to complete the work and came across D&M by looking at the online reviews. We’re pleased to say that the end product lives up to those reviews. The things I’d call out: - They use very good quality products compared to some of the other landscapers we spoke to and the prices are very competitive (which makes you wonder what mark up the others are applying) - we had Porcelain tiles which are from Digby Stone - The total cost was exactly what Dave originally quoted - Dave made sure the Porcelain tiles we wanted were reserved and put to one side by the builders merchants at the end of last year to ensure the price didn’t go up this year (as prices do from one year to the next) - Dave and the team gave really good advice from start to finish based on their expereince, but equally they’re happy to do what you want too - it was a nice balance - Harry, Tom and the team worked hard and did a great job We’d definitely use D&M again.

After obtaining several quotes for a complete garden redesign, i came across D&M Garden Services. I called Dave, in August 2021 to quote for the works to be completed. Dave provided a prompt and comprehensive quote which explained the scope of works. Having felt confident with the way Dave explained everything, I then booked in the works for the end of March 2022. We had approx 100sq metres of porcelain tiles laid, new planters built, new lawn laid and some other landscaping within the garden and rock landscaping on the front of the house. By the end of 2.5 weeks we had a brand new garden. Harry and his team worked tirelessly everyday. The team turned up on time every day, they discussed every detail as the works were completed, nothing was to much trouble for them. They were meticulous with all the finishing touches, very professional throughout. We are extremely pleased with our new garden and would 100% recommend D&M Garden Services for your garden makeover. "Dave came over and gave us a quote for the work at the weekend which was really helpful, as we both work full time. He gave us some great pointers and we received the quote via email. There was quite a lead time but there is no such thing as emergency landscaping, and I thought he must be good if he's so busy! They arrived on time, it was quite a big job replacing a lot of old slabbing and putting in raised flower beds with sleepers around it, but they were really tidy, polite and the job was completed quickly. They had to come back after they had finished because the postman had stood on their work before it had set, again this was no hassle at all. The team arrived on the agreed date, Harry and the team worked incredibly hard and effectively in some of the most challenging weather conditions and did a pristine job. Harry informed me of everything they were doing and provided great advice throughout, even taking on some extra work that we hadn't planned for. I felt very comfortable asking for changes where needed and everything was accommodated with grace. From the initial contact to the last phone call, Dave has been a pleasure to deal with. The initial survey was very useful as Dave was happy to provide ideas and suggestions as I had a rough idea but needed help with the details. No jargon, no bull, just good honest advice! The quotation, plans and product info was all sent through by email exactly as promised. A courtesy call 2 weeks from the start and we confirm the exact date & time, access requirements etc. All materials and spec double checked and then just wait for the big day….. ….. Dave and the team arrived on time and got cracking straight away. It was very well organised indeed. It’s a pleasure to see a professional team at work. All the lads were exceptionally polite and helpful, always happy to pause work to answer my questions too! I had a complete garden overhaul with new patio, retaining wall, borders and new lawn. All done on time and on budget. Dave was also flexible enough to accommodate a last minute addition to the list of jobs. I really am delighted with my new garden and I would heartily recommend D&M. They are usually booked up quite far ahead, but that is a very good sign!!

Dave and his team provided a first class service from start to finish. The job was to replace a set of ten steps leading to the front door of my property, which was no easy task given the steep gradient involved! Dave initially came out in person to assess the job and to talk through a number of options. He was happy to explain every aspect in detail, as well as bringing samples of materials which was great! The work was completed ahead of the original agreed schedule and to the highest standard. The team were friendly, polite and respectful and just got on with things! Communication was second to none throughout- Dave and Sue kept me informed of any changes to dates etc. as there were some ‘weather-dependant’ aspects to the final stage of the work, and responded to my questions and any queries within hours if not minutes which I found totally impressive! Dave will certainly be my first port of call for any future work without a doubt!

Really pleased with our gardens as we had both front and back landscaped by Dave and his team at D&M Gardening Services. The whole team were very friendly, polite and helpful and got to work on the transformation of the gardens. The end result… amazingly transformed gardens both back and front, where all mess was cleaned up by the team. I was recommended by a friend and haven't looked back. I knew the weather wasn't particularly great during this time of year and knew there could be delays in the completion. However, despite this, the Team endeavoured to maintain contact with me on a daily basis and made themselves available should I have any queries (even after the job was completed). Clean, tidy and even respected the use of facilities in the house. Worth every penny and would recommend to others.

We were treated professionally from start to finish. Our initial contact request was answered promptly and Dave came round to visit and plan when he said he would. He helped us to plan our garden remodel both listening to what we wanted and offering helpful advice and changing the plan without complaint when we had thought a bit more. Our questions about the quote were answered patiently until we understood it and the content behind it. Although the work couldn't be done immediately due to an existing 6 month work schedule, when a provisional date was given, the work started pretty much on time. When the four guys started work, they worked solidly and were always courteous and always cleaning up. Also, they worked to provide the best quality and good looking garden and paving possible and were ready to ask questions if they were unsure about the plan and to offer suggestions if they thought something might help us. They were flexible too and made a modification the the planned pathway at the last minute and rectified any issues promptly and without complaint. Throughout the work and at the end, it was very clear where and on what our money was being spent and we are exceptionally happy with the high quality finished result. D&M made the process of remodelling as hassle free as possible and were always open and honest with us and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others. You may have to wait a while for the work to be done but the end result is, in our opinion, worth the wait.

****AMENDED****Arranged an appointment for them to come and quote for some significant patioing, fire pit, raised railway sleeper beds etc...at their suggestion I agreed to 0930 on a Sunday morning...got up early (happened to be the day the clocks went forward too) and then 9 mins before the quote time, I got a text cancelling it due to "unforeseen circumstances". I gave alternative times/dates for the quote....not even a response. Very disappointing because the reviews suggested they were good but unfortunately, I never even got chance to find out... :( ADDITIONAL NOTE: On posting the above review, the partner of the business owner then contacted me on the evening of the review posting to explain the circumstances behind the lack of communication and a satisfactory reason was given. As a result of this, I have amended the review from the 1 star I originally gave to 3 stars.
