Matthew Wilkins Landscapes Ltd

I would highly recommend the team and Matt. They are all professional, hard working, polite, turn up on time and reliable. We are really pleased with the transformation of our patio area, pathway and decking. The team kept all areas tidy at the end of the day and completed the work to a very high standard.

Matt and the guys in his team turned up on time, listened to what I wanted to achieve, worked hard, and the finished result is much more than I expected. They have opened up my garden and taken what would have been months of work for me, so that I can get on with planting and enjoying my garden for me and my children. They made large beds for me to fill, cutting back and being careful with the wall!! They thought outside the box and made a rope swing and a climbing area out of a tree stump for the children. I am beyond delighted!! They left it very tidy and I don’t think I can fault anything. Really so grateful that I chose them!! Definitely recommend.

I can thoroughly recommend Matt for his excellent advice and help with my garden water feature. Very kind and professional

Fantastic service, work carried out to the highest standard.Highly recommend Mathew Wilkins and his team.

Matt and his team did an amazing job from start to finish: I really recommend them to anyone unsure as to who to get to help with their garden. I'd spoken to a couple of other companies, but Matt fills you with confidence right from the start, and his calm, reassuring experience shines through: he was also so much faster with a quote. He and his team work incredibly hard to bring ideas to life; he incorporated everything I wanted, and more, only better! It is really wonderful to find someone to do such a great job, sadly not something that always happens. Although all that was so much more than I could hope, I was so impressed that Matt also thought of additional useful ideas/fixes that have helped so much, before I'd even had time to consider them myself. Thanks so much to all the team!

From planning to completion the standard of work undertaken by Matthew and his team has been excellent. Without hesitation I would happily recommend the landscaping services his company provides !

Matt and his team did a first rate job for us in both removing a tree and laying a new lawn for us. We had great service and advice from Matt and were very happy with the work and would use him again for future garden works!

We have used Matthew twice now and everytime Matthew is very professional, works to a high standard and prices work reasonably. My partner and I would highly recommend his services

A few years ago I asked Matt to transform my front garden, what he dud surpassed NY expectations. More recently, I needed some new gates, I phoned him uo to see if he could recommend someone, it turns out he does that too. I'm so pleased with my new gates, he works very efficiently, very tidy and great workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

Matt showed great vision for the landscaping of my garden and the results are fabulous. His team worked so well together and were always polite, courteous and helpful, even through the most appalling rainy days. So happy I chose them!

Excellent work done by Matt and his team which brought my vision for my new garden to life. Despite some horrible weather, the team turned up every day on time and provided a professional service, on time and for the amount quoted. I am really happy with the results and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job of transforming a really overgrown area in our garden and we are very pleased with the result. Matt was quick to respond on queries, came up with suggestions/ideas and the whole team worked really hard to get the job done to a great standard. Thanks again!

Matt and team came highly recommended by our neighbours and we are so pleased with all the work they did for us on our back garden. They have transformed our pathways between the flowerbeds and our fish are swimming happily in their refurbished pond.

Very prompt to respond and did a very good job. Great service, very professional. Will definitely use in the future and would recommend

Matt and his team recently did our front hedges. They managed to squeeze us in at short notice to help us out. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond and really helped us to clear the roots of the previous hedge to enable the new hedge the best chance. It was hard work!. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them in the future.

Matt and his team did an excellent job laying my patio. They were punctual and polite, left the site clean and tidy each evening. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for patio work.

We d like to thank Matt and all the team for the fantastic job they did on our landscaping. From the get go Matt worked tirelessly to bring our dream garden into reality. From the design and quotation to the team bringing it to life, they worked tirelessly through the heat and rain to get it completed in the allocated time. We ve had no end of comments on how great a job it is, how professional all the guys were while on site and how the whole job shows the precision and care taken during the project. As unknown issues came to light Matt explained all of the options and dealt with them all swiftly. Taking a blank canvass and creating a stunning Mediterranean inspired paradise, we cant recommend Matt and the team highly enough.

Matt & his team managed to transform our jungle into an absolutely awesome garden, managing to overcome some major hidden problems with the minimum of fuss. Excellent ideas & standard of workmanship. We would recommend Matt for anything garden related.

Matt and his excellent team have just completed a fantastic fencing job to a very high standard. Someone I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending.

Matt and his team were extremely professional, hard-working with a fantastic attention to detail. Matt worked with us throughout the planning stage with some very useful ideas about how we could landscape our garden. The work was completed on time, to an extremely high-standard and on budget. We would firmly recommend Matt to anyone looking for garden landscaping services.

Been using Matthew and his team for a few years now and they are soo reliable and consistent with availability and all requests. Whether its simple garden maintenance or jobs such as fencing or driveways they always deliver good quality and on time.

Excellent in every respect. Matt is an expert and helped us develop and adjust our original ideas for a re-vamp in the wild dell at the end of our garden, the re-shaping of the neighbouring ground, erecting a new shed and pathway and sourcing and planting a range of shrubs. The young men that he brought with him were hard, careful workers. He was open to small changes as the project went along and everything was done to the highest standards; he is a perfectionist. His thoroughness in dealing with unexpected obstacles in the dell meant that he needed and gave two or three extra days to the job. We are delighted with the end result which exceeded our expectations.

So happy with the patio and fencing that was done , exceeded my expectations! Very friendly , professional at all times, hard working and exceptional finish to the job ! Would highly recommend to anyone !

Great job! Gave me a competitive quote, came when he said he would finished to the date and the quality is excellent. Very particular to give you what you want and checks with you every step of the way.

Matthew and his team were efficient, helpful, cheerful, polite, clean and tidy. Good ideas, attention to detail. The result far exceeded our expectations. Good value. Would certainly recommend

Extremely efficient and hard working team. Good communications throughout; checking exactly what I wanted doing, and how. Very pleased. Thank you !

Prompt professional service, highly recommend All work carried out to a high standard and very neat, with areas around work cleaned afterwards Thank you so much

Matt promptly provided a quote for installing a Soakaway and agreed a time and date. Him and his team worked tirelessly to get the job done before I left for holiday and promptly provided an updated quote for patio and turf install. Highly recommend!!!

Matt and his team did a great job clearing and tidying and weeding a VERY neglected front and back garden. Took all the garden waste away. Very pleased with the job they did.

Great job on tidying the drive. Looking forward to the next project.

I am thrilled with the work that Matt and his team did for us. This is the second time I have used them and they are professional, polite and extremely good at what they do.

Found Matt online and he had lots of excellent reviews. He quoted a reasonable price for the work (and the taking away of lots of rubbish) and was able to fit me in quickly as he had a project finishing soon. He and his team took down and removed an old shed and cut back (and removed) a large amount of laurel hedging. The job was done quickly, professionally and his team left the area tidy. Was very happy with the work done and would recommend Matt and his team.

Matt and his team are incredible! My grass just wasn't "grassing" and decided I wanted a nice, neat easy to maintain patio area. They came promptly on time every morning and started working hard straight away. The team are perfectionists, taking huge pride in the work that they do. Each one has their own role to play resulting in "the dream team". Matt went above and beyond not only delivering exactly what he said but cutting back and trimming anything that he thought needed it to the side of the house, back and front! They are all meticulous in their work with added care and detail into everything they do. I didn't bother getting quotes from anyone else, I went with my gut and was not disappointed. I highly recommend hiring Matt and his team for any gardening work you need. A* service!

Matt is a stand up guy, does what he says, excellent work and honest as the day is long. Can't recommend him enough.

Matthew and his team worked nonstop (in pouring rain) to remove an old hedge and replace with fencing panel and Trim a further rear hedge and did a fantastic job. Matthew came on time, priced the work and invoiced exactly as quote. Left the garden clean and tidy. Could not ask for more. Thank you to all the team. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Company.

We are thrilled with our new patio, pathway and garden . Thank you so much Matt and the team. Very professional, friendly and polite. Cannot fault this company. We would happily have them back in the future. 5*

Matt & team were very efficient and made light work of removing trees/shrubs etc. Looking forward to completion, later in the year. Thank you.

Matthew Wilkins Landscapes Ltd did a lovely job clearing leaves, weeds and brambles from both front and back gardens. Grass and hedges were additionally very overgrown and have been tamed in less than a day. Rubbish all taken away too. Very impressed with their work and would recommend them for any unruly garden you may have.

Matt went above and beyond by moving his commitments around to accommodate my tight timeline to get the work completed in my garden. He dug up several bush roots and a huge area of bamboo, jet washed the patio, and tidied everything up. Thanks to his hard work, I now have a beautiful area to enjoy. Highly recommend Matt for any gardening needs. Thank you, Matt

Matt and his lads did a fantastic job relaying our very tired patio and pond, they were professional, cleared away all rubbish and exceeded all our expectations. Thanks so much!

We’ve used Matt (and his team) several times since he landscaped our garden a few years ago. He is consistently reliable, competitively priced and works to a very high standard. Highly recommend.

I used Matt’s services for an elderly client who needed some work in her garden to make it safe for her to go out there, and found that his communication was great, the work was fairly priced and the client was really pleased. Thanks Matt!

Matt and his team were very quick and efficient, the end result looks great.

Very happy with the work Matt and his team did. Resolved drainage issue I was having as well as removal of trees and cutting back and trimming overgrown hedges, trees, shrubs etc. Even got a few extras added, topping up shingle and pebbles as well as roots removed! The work was done to a very high standard and on time. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Had a new lawn laid. The lawn looks perfect and the garden was left neat and tidy. We would 100% recommend Matt. Thanks for doing a great job.

Matt and his team recently cut back our hedging, pruned several fruit trees and installed new fencing. All work was completed to a great standard within the time frame and cost estimated. We were delighted with the quality of the work and highly recommend this team, we will use them again!

Matt and boys are pleasant, punctual and professional

Great people to work with, coping with variations on what we wanted and great finished job. Many thanks Matt!

Matt and team have done a fantastic job on our patio’s and path. From the quote to the finish communication was great. Kept updating throughout the whole process. We will highly recommend this team .

I have used Matt and his team on several occasions, landscaping my front garden, repairing my garage roof and carrying out extensive work on my back garden (new fence panels, drainage, new lawn and repairs to my patio). The garden is now a pleasure to sit in and for the grandchildren to use. Matt has always kept me fully up to date with progress and also provided advice and ideas along the way. All the work has been done on time, to estimate and Matt and his team have at times worked through very wet and muddy conditions. Both during and at the end of works, everything has been left clean & tidy. I cannot fault Matt in any way and recommend him 100%. I now have him doing on-going maintenance on my garden and other work is planned for this summer.

Matt delivered as promised, on time and budget a small garden makeover which will be part of a much bigger project. His knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. The team collected all the rubbish after reworking the site and left it in the design he proposed. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him, as indeed, he was recommended to me, to anyone who wants a very professional gardening and landscaping friendly service.

Brilliant service Thank you Matthew

Great job. Would thoroughly recommend Matt and his team.

Matthew carried out all the work professionally and efficiently. Communication was easy and the work was carried out punctually.

Our back garden was transformed from a scrubby wasteland into an oasis of stepped paving stones and lush grass, with a new tree to boot. Courteous and hardworking, Matthew Wilkins and his team worked tirelessly through sun and rain to finish the project in time for Spring. My family and I highly recommend this company for these and many other reasons, including professionalism, excellent value for money and great aesthetic sense.

Excellent service and quality of work from start to finish. I had some patio slabs replaced, laid a small concrete slab and laid an area to stone. Matt and his team did a fantastic job, he even went above and beyond to source some extra slabs when I'd under estimated my order. Price was good, work was excellent and tidied up everything afterwards.

Would highly recommend Matthew and his team. They have just extended our patio in Indian Sandstone, which included building a wall and putting in drainage. They were punctual, hardworking and polite. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Matt and his trusty team spent 5 weeks removing a huge old tree stump, levelled the garden and built a new patio and steps. Our garden has been totally transformed and we are thrilled! Throughout the weeks Matt kept us fully up to date with their progress and also gave us great advice and ideas along the way. Job was done on time ( team worked through torrential rain and muddy conditions) and true to estimate. Garden and drive was kept clean & tidy as possible. Cannot fault Matthew in any way and recommend 100%. We’ve already got him advising us on a second job!

A couple of months ago Matt and his young team undertook a major landscaping project for us. We wanted a landscaper who would be reliable and they were exceptional. The fact that our garden slopes quite steeply and most of the work was at the top made it quite a challenge. They were prompt each day and finished the work on schedule. The standard of work was to a high quality and we adopted many of Matt’s ideas. We are really pleased with the outcome and are looking forward to enjoying our garden for many years to come. They were really professional and the team worked even on a day when there was heavy rain.

6 star’s excellent work, swift , very tidy, brilliant craftsmanship, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and his team, If I need more work doing he would be my first choice Thanks Matt 👍👍

To say that Matt and his team were great doesn’t do it justice…. They were amazing!! My first contact with Matt followed my leaving an enquiring message on his answer phone, in my hunt for a landscape gardener. I was quite taken aback when Matt actually turned up on my doorstep that very same evening! These days you never ever see such prompt response from anyone. He then spent no less than two hours taking a look at the garden and throwing up ideas. I knew i needed the garden to be a safe and wholly inclusive space for my recently wheelchair bound son who had previously very much enjoyed the garden, but in reality I wasn’t quite sure how I needed it to be and in a way which would leave the garden a beautiful space to spend time in. I like to think of myself as a bit of a gardener, but not by any means a landscaper. I liked Matt’s confident ideas and will never regret my gut instinct that he was the guy for us. Matt and his team’s work ethic was second to none and in fact a few of my neighbours who enjoyed watching the garden transforming felt compelled to remark this to me. Indeed, I was often concerned that they were working too hard, something I’ve never before had the privilege of being concerned about. I very quickly felt that I could put my trust in their knowledge, care, and intuition as to what would be right for my son. Their creativity and guidance has left us with a simply stunning garden. To boot we had the best laugh I’ve had in ages with their banter and humour. They were just a joy to have around and I actually missed them greatly when the time came for them to tootle off to their next job and project. I shall be forever grateful to Matt Wilkins Landscapes Limited and shall continue to use them for general garden maintenance. I love these guys!.. their kindness, care, knowledge and creativity has left my son delighted with his new totally accessible garden and myself with a stunning, therapeutic space to look out to each day, whatever the weather …..oh the joy!!! Matt and his team worked hard to completely transform our garden. He was always able to modify the design as needed. Highly recommended!

I hired Matt and team for a landscaping job and would happily do so again. They were professional throughout, with great communication so I knew exactly what was happening. The price quoted was the final price invoiced even with having to deal with some hidden issues along the way. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely delighted with the work Matthew and his team did on my garden. They completely transformed it. Matthew listened carefully to what I wanted and added some great ideas and input to make it a reality. Very friendly, professional and courteous throughout all communications and during the works completion. I would highly recommend using this company and couldn't fault them at all.

Matt and his team totally transformed both my patio, frontage, 2 beds and border. He was great in responding to all my questions and extra requests! I am definitely a returning customer. They also cleared and tidied and left everything looking great

Matt is fantastic at what he does. We used him a few years ago to install a garden gate in a difficult position and got him back to our new home recently to lay a new pathway, replace a rotten fence post and give our neglected garden a big tidy up / overhaul. Needless to say we’re very happy with the results. Matt is friendly, professional, responsive and reliable and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again in the future.

I had part of my garden paved, new lawn laid and a raised bed made from sleepers. Matthew and his son Louis worked solidly throughout the week on the project I wanted. They were approachable and diligent about their work. All the rubbish was taken away and areas cleaned up. I am so very pleased with the results and looking forward to this spring to get planting the raised bed with vegetables.

My elderly Mum has been looking for somebody to come and do an autumn tidy up of her garden before winter and Matthew Wilkins provided a very professional and friendly service. They called to tell her when they would be able to fit her in and turned up on time. When they arrived they did an excellent job, reduced the estimate by £40 because the work was completed earlier than expected and even reminded her to lock the door when they left. Would definitely use again.

Matt and his team constructed our new patio recently. They were really friendly, the work was high quality and great value. We picked Matt due to his reviews and when we first met him he came to our house (which we recently moved into) and he walked us around our garden sharing ideas and explaining what plants were in the garden. Very experienced and really professional - highly recommended.

Matt and team have done a fantastic job transforming my garden - laying a new patio, turfing and putting up my shed/greenhouse. I was really impressed with their hard work, reliability and friendliness and suggestions to make my garden amazing. I am so pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you!

We’ve recently had our paving slabs replaced in our garden and the difference is incredible. So pleased with the results. Highly recommend Matt and his team, really friendly and amazing at what they do!

Garden makeover. Absolutely lovely work by Matt and his son. Highly recommended

Matt had done work for us before, removing and old pond, Fantastic job and the challenges faced were in short, up a long flight of stairs. Matt then recommended a company to do further work and we were not disappointed with his work either. Matt then came around for further work that had been planed, again delivered a great level of service and put up with all our last minute advice, changes and litters of coffee and tea. The staircase Matt built for us looks fantastic and well built. Don't tell him but he is undercharging for work this good. I would gladly recommend Matt and his team. Thanks

Fantastic job relaying our lawn - garden has been transformed.

Matthew and his team did a great job laying a new patio, pathway and tree planting. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We found Matthew on the internet and have used him twice now for walling, clearing undergrowth, fencing, replacing balcony, laying patio areas, erecting sheds. We are extremely happy with every aspect of his service. Reliable, trustworthy, flexible. He will incorporate changes we want as he goes along whenever possible and also offer good ideas and advice. Despite reasonable costs, he uses quality materials to a good finish. We feel he genuinely wants his customers to enjoy the results of his work. His co-workers are brilliant - so skilled and hard working! We would definitely use them again.

Had the pleasure of meeting Matthew a few weeks ago as needed help with two areas of the garden proving difficult. I was immediately impressed with how quickly Matthew responded to my texts and plea for help, it was pretty instant. I received the quote promptly and was happy to go ahead. Put simply Matthew is a joy to have around . He works extremely hard , is both friendly and professional and has lots of good advice to give . The other guys with Matthew were also friendly , polite and worked hard. Matthew did such a lovely job and completely transformed the garden leaving the area clean and tidy on both occasions . Matthew's love of animals was much appreciated and it was nice knowing my little ones were safe around him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matthew to anyone and will without doubt use him again in the future . Matthew does get really busy so you may have to wait but the quality of his work and nice manner is definitely worth waiting for. Thank you Matt.

Firstly what a job he does, second one for me over the last couple of years. The fencing he put up have held very well and look terrific.so called again for double gates..perfect job again..use his services.keeps you updated with timings and what is required from you on the day...I can't fault it.

Turned a tired corner into a lovely Memorial garden at the Vets where i work. Somewhere for quite time and reflection. Thank you for a very professional job.

This is the second time we have used Matthew Wilkins landscapes ltd and as before we are very pleased with the result which has completed planned changes to our garden following an extension. Matthew and Nigel have created the garden I wanted and have enabled my husband to access the garden which he couldn't before. Thank you very much

Our back lawn was worn out and included a paved area which was very dated. Matthew and Nigel transformed it very quickly, working hard and with good humour. In addition Matthew was happy to give advice on other areas of the garden, for which I was very grateful. I have no hesitation in recommending Matthew's services.

Matthew provides an excellent professional, friendly, courteous service. We found him reliable, hardworking, very knowledgeable and happy to advise. Attention to detail and tidiness (garden and drive left clean and tidy each night) was refreshing and most welcome. Nigel whose work ethic was also exemplary assisted him. We’re very happy to recommend him, wished we’d known of him earlier.

I was recommended to Matthew Wilkins Landscapes via SoBo, our local neighbourhood page. Matt and Nigel built and installed a new side gate, replaced the balustrading to our decking and worked tirelessly to design and build a catio outside pen for our three house cats. The design they came up with after meeting us at our home on a couple of occasions was exactly as we had visualised it. They were extremely helpful, courteous and really hardworking, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The quality of their work is excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. I would rate them 10* if that were possible!

Matthew and Nigel spent a week transforming my garden, working through rain and gale force winds to bring my ideas to fruition. They were polite, knowledgeable and good time keepers. Very pleased with the results and the price.

Matt was great from start to finish. Reliable, friendly, trustworthy and professional. His quote was good value and the service and workmanship excellent. He left everything so tidy, communicated regularly keeping me up to date on progress and I was really pleased with end result. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Thank you.

Matthew (and Nigel) did an excellent replacing an old, worn out lawn and paving area and now my garden looks transformed. On one day, they worked through heavy rain and the work carried out was to the price and specification agreed in the original quote.

Matthew worked so hard on the hottest day of the year. I could not fault him.

Matt transformed a very overgrown garden, cutting back shrubs, trimming hedges, grass cutting and weeding. He is reliable, tidy and hard-working. We were very pleased with the result.

Matt recently re-landscaped and the turfed our whole garden. Also replaced all of our existing old fence panels and post. Fantastic job and could not be happier with the results. Would highly recommend.

My garden now looks amazing! Matthew and Nigel have transformed our patch of waste ground into a lovely private deck area with new fencing and plants. The quality of work is very good . We would definitely recommend.

My garden was overgrown and needed a lot of work done to it. Matt was round every day for a week working through rain and thunder to get it done and I'm so happy with the results. I now have a levelled out garden with new turf and some lovely decking Very reasonable prices especially compared to others out there. Would definitely recommend Matt to anyone looking to get their garden re-landscaped or tidied up.

Very overgrown and untidy front and back gardens completely transformed. Including removing and replacing shrubs, shingling front garden, removing old coal store, re-laying patio, filling in old pond and building a new one above ground, fencing, removing accumulated rubbish. Carried out work with skill and efficiency within the time specified. Punctual, friendly and cheerful. Put in a lot of hard work. Delighted with the results in both gardens. Would definitely recommend this team.

We had the garden leveled off and re-turfed. Matt and his team were professional, punctual and the end result is just fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt for the amazing job he's done on our garden, and also the vision, ideas and advice he shares with you as a client. We plan on using him for future work on our house.
