A few years ago I asked Matt to transform my front garden, what he dud surpassed NY expectations. More recently, I needed some new gates, I phoned him uo to see if he could recommend someone, it turns out he does that too. Matt and his team recently did our front hedges. They managed to squeeze us in at short notice to help us out. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond and really helped us to clear the roots of the previous hedge to enable the new hedge the best chance. It was hard work!. Matt is an expert and helped us develop and adjust our original ideas for a re-vamp in the wild dell at the end of our garden, the re-shaping of the neighbouring ground, erecting a new shed and pathway and sourcing and planting a range of shrubs. The young men that he brought with him were hard, careful workers. He was open to small changes as the project went along and everything was done to the highest standards; he is a perfectionist. His thoroughness in dealing with unexpected obstacles in the dell meant that he needed and gave two or three extra days to the job. Matt and his team are incredible! My grass just wasn't "grassing" and decided I wanted a nice, neat easy to maintain patio area. They came promptly on time every morning and started working hard straight away. The team are perfectionists, taking huge pride in the work that they do. Matthew Wilkins Landscapes Ltd did a lovely job clearing leaves, weeds and brambles from both front and back gardens. Grass and hedges were additionally very overgrown and have been tamed in less than a day. Rubbish all taken away too. Very impressed with their work and would recommend them for any unruly garden you may have.
Matt went above and beyond by moving his commitments around to accommodate my tight timeline to get the work completed in my garden. I have used Matt and his team on several occasions, landscaping my front garden, repairing my garage roof and carrying out extensive work on my back garden (new fence panels, drainage, new lawn and repairs to my patio). The garden is now a pleasure to sit in and for the grandchildren to use. Matt has always kept me fully up to date with progress and also provided advice and ideas along the way. All the work has been done on time, to estimate and Matt and his team have at times worked through very wet and muddy conditions. Excellent service and quality of work from start to finish. I had some patio slabs replaced, laid a small concrete slab and laid an area to stone. Matt and his team did a fantastic job, he even went above and beyond to source some extra slabs when I'd under estimated my order. A couple of months ago Matt and his young team undertook a major landscaping project for us. We wanted a landscaper who would be reliable and they were exceptional.The fact that our garden slopes quite steeply and most of the work was at the top made it quite a challenge. To say that Matt and his team were great doesn’t do it justice…. They were amazing!! My first contact with Matt followed my leaving an enquiring message on his answer phone, in my hunt for a landscape gardener. I was quite taken aback when Matt actually turned up on my doorstep that very same evening! These days you never ever see such prompt response from anyone. He then spent no less than two hours taking a look at the garden and throwing up ideas. I knew i needed the garden to be a safe and wholly inclusive space for my recently wheelchair bound son who had previously very much enjoyed the garden, but in reality I wasn’t quite sure how I needed it to be and in a way which would leave the garden a beautiful space to spend time in. I like to think of myself as a bit of a gardener, but not by any means a landscaper. I liked Matt’s confident ideas and will never regret my gut instinct that he was the guy for us. Matt and his team’s work ethic was second to none and in fact a few of my neighbours who enjoyed watching the garden transforming felt compelled to remark this to me. Indeed, I was often concerned that they were working too hard, something I’ve never before had the privilege of being concerned about. I very quickly felt that I could put my trust in their knowledge, care, and intuition as to what would be right for my son. Their creativity and guidance has left us with a simply stunning garden. Very overgrown and untidy front and back gardens completely transformed. Including removing and replacing shrubs, shingling front garden, removing old coal store, re-laying patio, filling in old pond and building a new one above ground, fencing, removing accumulated rubbish. Carried out work with skill and efficiency within the time specified. Punctual, friendly and cheerful. Put in a lot of hard work. Delighted with the results in both gardens. Would definitely recommend this team.
We had the garden leveled off and re-turfed. Matt and his team were professional, punctual and the end result is just fantastic.
