We cannot recommend Dan and his team highly enough. From start to finish, the quality of their workmanship has been exceptional, and they have completely transformed our home. They have fitted two beautiful bathrooms, built bespoke fireside bookcases, installed new kitchen appliances, fitted solid wood worktops, carried out plastering and electrical work, and sanded and sealed the original floorboards in our upstairs bathroom. Every job has been completed to an incredibly high standard with real attention to detail. Dan and his team are reliable, hardworking, friendly and respectful, and they always left the house clean and tidy at the end of each day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to offer advice and practical solutions to help us achieve the look we wanted. What really stands out is the pride they take in their work. They treat your home as if it were their own, and the quality of the finish speaks for itself. We have received so many compliments on the work they’ve done, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, trustworthy craftsmen. Thank you, Dan and the team, for all your hard work. We are absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn’t use anyone else for future projects.

I ordered a new Wren kitchen and, although Wren suggested their own fitter for the installation, he turned out to be a disappointment. I then contacted DC Home Improvements and I don’t regret that decision at all. These guys are excellent. Dan, Dave and the rest of the team are really friendly, yet at the same time very professional and highly skilled at what they do. My kitchen looks perfect now and I am absolutely delighted with it. No job was too big for the team; they delivered everything I asked for. I would strongly recommend DC Home Improvements to anyone needing a new kitchen fitted. You will not be disappointed!

DC Home Improvements helped us modify our kitchen to accommodate a dishwasher by removing an existing cupboard and installing all the plumbing required. Dan provided a home kitchen planning visit in which we talked through what we wanted and discussed how it could be achieved. He was honest about what was most cost effective and together we planned a solution. One the day of the works they worked efficiently and professionally being extremely polite and answering the random questions we had. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave until we were happy with everything. Very happy!

Dan Cerdan (DC home improvements) You can’t leave genuine feedback on your own company! Now where do I start. I got Dan from DC in to fit a new kitchen, sort the hallway out and fit a new bathroom. All was going smoothly until he started to cut corners and not cutting the cuboards neatly with straight lines. It looks like it’s been cut with a chainsaw and not a circular saw or jigsaw. I asked for oak doors and frames and you supplied me with pine door frames with oak doors. Which Dan did say he was going to sort out. Dan said he couldn’t change the door frames over until September sometime as he was occupied with other jobs. If DC had stayed and did a full day rather than his half days he would have been able to squeeze in time to change the door frames no problem at all. After all it was a mistake his end. Dan from DC priced up the job for Oak frames and doors but maybe he forgot or was trying to pull a fast one on me, I’m not sure. Dan was extremely lazy that he didn’t want to route out my worktops to fit leds under them, he just wanted to stick them on which they would catch on the cuboard doors. After telling him they will be routed under the worktops he eventually did this but in the process damaged the large side cuboard and also the piece of wood that separates the oven from the cuboard on the right. The backboard was supposed to go up to the extractor fan, but he couldn’t be bothered to cut the backboard to fit between the two top cuboards, so instead he cut the two cuboard side panels and slid the backboard up behind it. I told him I was not happy with this and after a short discussion he replaced the two damaged pieces. Dan also moaned at the boiler guy we used as he did not route the power cable for the boiler in the wall, the reason for this is that Dan kept giving the boiler guy extra work to do which I was paying him for. So yeh the boiler guy that I got in forgot as he was too busy doing DC work! Yesterday afternoon Dan from DC was saying he would be back Thursday to start the bathroom which was great, however he had already removed the oak doors from my property (which I hadn’t paid for yet as I was waiting for him to change the door frames to oak to complete that job before paying) We spoke about some jobs in the hallway to chase out a couple of copper pipes which he agreed to do and remove a door frame. He finished what he could do in the kitchen so he was waiting around for his money so I paid him for the kitchen work (without checking the quality of everything) which was a mistake. After he had his money he was off within seconds. The following morning he sent me a text saying he thinks it’s better that I get someone else in to fit my bathroom and to do my hallway. (No explanation what so ever) and that he had left the money for my tiles back in the house and the key had been posted through the door. So my overall feedback is not great and I’m very disappointed in the quality of work. If I wanted a cowboy I would have found someone a lot cheaper. I would steer clear of this company as Dan couldn’t even talk to my face about why he didn’t want to continue the agreed jobs. Update: if anyone would like the conversation history between myself and DC home improvements they are welcome to contact me. I requested oak doors and frames. You hounded me for the 5 grand before giving me a chance to fully inspect the work. And at face value looked ok. But after checking it all over without you over my shoulder I would have found the issues. The photos speak for themselves with the poor quality of work carried out, even if some of the work isn’t visible. Surely you would take full pride in all of your work. Clearly this wasn’t the case. After speaking to my family member who you had done work for, after fully inspecting the work over a few days issues were found there such as poor tiling and water leakages through the shower base. Warning to all potential customers, do not hand over any money and tell them to leave so you have time to fully inspect all work carried out.
