October 2024 Highly recommend The New Door. Nigel assisted in the design of our new kitchen and project managed absolutely everything, including the purchase and delivery of all the new appliances. Adam meticulously fitted the whole kitchen, was prompt in arrival each day and checked each morning if we had any questions. The electrician, Gas engineer and the worktop makers and fitters were also excellent. Overall a very professional job by everyone throughout. We are really pleased with our new kitchen. Nigel from the New Door company came round to provide a quotation to have our kitchen updated. The quote was competitive and he was very professional (not like some companies we invited to quote). We proceeded with The New Door company and Adam the fitter done a great job updating our 20 year old kitchen. Well done to both Nigel and Adam for their great work. The team did a great job of replacing my kitchen doors two years ago. I had a new washing machine and Luke kindly came and replaced the door with new brackets. Very professional, excellent attention to detail and very competitive Would recommend

Wonderful. Nigel came with all the samples imaginable! Measured up and quoted. A new kitchen well yes spart from the carcasses which were fine and solid.we moved here in June and it became apparent that the kitchen was a mess. We knew that when we bought the property but was eorsr for living in. After we chose the finish,worktops and doors we decided to keep the oven fridge freezer and dishwasher, Nigel to supply a new gas hob and plumb in a washing machin we had bought. Nigel suggested improvements to the kitchen and we went with that and very successful they have been The work started on time and Adam and Tony were superb. Professional to the last degree. The workmanship was superb and the kitchen was looking very good,stylish and modern. Disaster struck. The work was planned for Monday start and finish Friday. Wednesday evening the fridge freezer died. Molly to the rescue a new one ordered by her yo or specs was delivered and fitted Friday and is superb frost free and we are delighted with it. Nigel and Mollie made visits to check. There was no need as Adam and Tony are so skilled their work was that of true craftsmen . Superlatives are exhausted what else could be said. We were so confident in them we even took off shopping one afternoon! Nearly a year later the boiler needed servicing . The engineer said itwa boxed in and he couldn't do it. Nigel came to the rescue. The offending panel could be removed allowing access but the engineer had not seen a fit like it . Vert cleaver! Upshot was it was refitted so it is obviously removable but doesn't look any different . Now that is service you wouldn't get at B&Q! No hesitation in recommending The New Door. We enjoyed the experience were never let without fascilities by the good conscientious workmen and everyone went the 'extra mile'. Well done. May do it again next year because we enjoyed it so not because it needs redoing!!!😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍
Had an brilliant experience with the new door fitting my kitchen, they worked with us every step of the way and were very responsive and personable which made it all not stressful but a fun experience. They were all very professional and my kitchen looks great, thankyou!
Had such high hopes for this company especially down to the 5* reviews people had already given Unfortunately that was not our experience! On first contact with Nigel couldn't fault him thought he was really good really helped us get the design of the kitchen we were looking for! Communication with him and molly was really good to begin with no probelm was to big or to small! Unfortunately it all went wrong when they started to install our new kitchen. From parts missing, panels and doors damaged, poor fitting and bad communication. A 3-4 day job eventually got finished within 5 weeks! Even on the last day of it being finished there was still a panel that was damaged! Overall a very stressful experience and to be told we were the ones who were stressful was very unprofessional to hear from a owner of the business and as a customer I didn't expect to have the phone hung up on my self when all I was trying to do was get the issues resolved from the companies errors! However I would like to say a massive thank you to Tom though who was so helpful when he came to finish of the probelms we had he went above and beyond to get the kitchen finished for us!
I would honestly never recommend this company to anyone when choosing someone to spend your hard earned money with. I love the design of my kitchen just wish it wasnt fitted by this company. The poor communication from the owners is infuriating and have no idea how to effectively communicate. Nigel the owner refusing to call me when I had an issue with something even though sending him emails requesting a call. Surely you just pick the phone up and call the customer?? Nothing but quality issues with damaged doors, missing items, things not ordered because Nigel forgets! Workmanship issues. The list goes on. Bodging bits hoping we wouldn’t find out, he would then contradict his fitters and say they have lied and shouldn’t of said it was finished. Truly a very stressful and frustrating experience. One positive was the guy who did our snag work the other day a called Tom who was excellent and went above and beyond for a company he isn’t employed by! But helping Nigel as he has got himself too busy and can’t deliver the service expected! If only Tom ran the whole company. Also a quoted 3-4 day job turned into a total of 4 weeks without a complete kitchen. AVOID!
The New Door completely revamped my kitchen, absolutely fantastic workmanship and superb communication throughout the whole process. Nigel and Molly listened to every query I had and I am so impressed with how well they kept my preferences in focus on the whole time! Me and my other half are so happy. I will be recommending this company to all our family and friends. 10/10 service!
What a fantastic Company .... From the first initial contact with Nigel to completion I could not fault their services. My kitchen has had a complete new look with new counter tops in Vanilla quartz with back stand and a pop of colour with red behind my gas hob and a lovely new sink. Many thanks to the hardworking team that made this possible.
The New Door installed new wall cabinets, a new sink and a dishwasher, and also did two carpentry jobs we needed. Everything was excellent, from Nigel's first visit to the very end of the process. Nigel and Molly were very easy to talk to and keen to give us what we wanted. We always felt we were getting personal treatment, not having to fit into a standard template. Adam and Tony did the installation and were professional, skilled and also very kind: they cared about what we wanted too. They were both very capable. In particular, Adam's carpentry is stunning. When problems arose with our existing plumbing, they and Tom dealt with everything calmly and with good humour, and in the best way for our comfort. It was a pleasure having them here. We were very lucky to find The New Door; to have such good work done by such nice people, and at such a good price too, is a rare experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend The New Door to anyone who wants to improve their kitchen. We're absolutely delighted with ours!

We had new kitchen cupboard doors, sink, oven and hob fitted, and are delighted with the finished result. The fitter was a delight to have working in our home. The work was regularly checked over by the director. There were hold ups due to supply problems but we would definitely recommend this company to others.

We had a laminate worktop replaced by a quartz one. From beginning to end, Nigel managed the project and kept us informed at all times. The attention to detail was excellent and we are very happy with the results.

I had all the cupboard fronts changed and end board giving us a brand new kitchen. Very professional and friendly from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend them any higher. Nigel visited with no obligation and made us very comfortable about the whole process. We had delay issues with some of the new appliances but they came back 3 weeks later to finish no problems.
We ordered new kitchen doors, draws and handles from NewDoor and couldn’t be happier with them. It’s turned our old fashioned kitchen into a modern, clean and stylish space. I would highly recommend.

Very efficient from beginning to end. Nigel is very knowledgeable about his products and doesn't rush you into a decision, but he can always help when trying to decide on handles!! Even when I threw in a curve ball and asked for an additional cupboard on the fitting day, it was not a problem and Nigel magically appeared with said cupboard. From the very start I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to acheive for the new look to our kitchen. The New Door have fulfilled my idea and I am so pleased with the outcome. After a very disappointing new kitchen installed just over 6 years ago, when the vinyl wrap lifted on all the doors, we contacted Nigel from The New Door for a quote to replace the doors. He was very prompt visiting us and gave us an excellent quote. The doors arrived well ahead of schedule and 2 fitters, Luke and Stuart, worked so quick and well that the job was finished in a day. From initial enquiry through to the completion of the kitchen, everything was handled in a thoroughly professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for Nigel and his team, and we are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen.
I knew what I wanted. It turned out that I had worked everything out, but most Kitchen Experts only wanted to impose their ideas and trash mine. Nigel was different. He listened to my ideas and accepted that I knew what I was talking about and then gave his expertise to allow me to manage "ideas" into reality. He listened. Unusual. But I have no doubt if he didn't think it would work he would have helped to manage my needs and aspirations. We managed an amazing amount through Lockdown and Nigel was there as and when he was allowed. The final piece of the project achieved as soon as we were allowed. We are now about six months into enjoying our refurbished kitchen. Still, almost daily, we a thrilled with the results. Without fail, our friends who visit either knew the kitchen before and are bowled over or those who didn't know it before cannot believe it should have ever been any other way.
