Lee supplied and installed the Google Nest 3 smart thermostat in our home. The whole process was easy and really impressive; the website is well designed and simple to book, all communication was clear and prompt and there was even a tracking link for his arrival. After a pro installation Lee spent time to help get the thermostat connected to my phone and demonstrated all the features of the device. This review comes 1 year late after running my system over the winter. The results are impressive, a significant reduction in gas usage (up to 20% less during the coldest months) and a more even and consistent temperature in the house. I contacted Glo Heating because I wanted to improve my existing system which has a gas boiler with UFH on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor by adding an outdoor temperature sensor and running the gas boiler at a lower flow temperature. Lee did a survey of the system, recommended some changes and patiently answer all of my questions via e-mail. He ended up balancing the underflow heating and installing a outdoor sensor + compatible thermostat which could modulate the boiler. I'm very happy with the results, after finding the correct thermostat settings for my house, the internal temperature is at constant 20° (+/- 0.5), the living room no longer feels colder than the rest of the house and my energy usage is lower.

Lee was excellent from first contact, clearly grasping the problem and offering a solution, friendly and approachable on email. On the day of the work there was a courtesy text to say he was on his way. As well as installing the new thermostats, Lee altered the settings on my boiler to make it more efficient (first person ever to do that!), and made a number of small system improvements. Lee is super knowledgeable with an outstanding technical expertise. I'll definitely be having him back for further eco improvements including (fingers crossed) an air source heat pump.

Cannot recommend Glo Heating and Lee enough. I called Lee with a broken boiler and no hot water in September. He tried to help diagnosis the issue over the phone first to avoid any call out charges which I thought was amazing. He then visited very quickly, worked out the issue and returned the following day to repair when he said he would. Also managed to fit in doing my service whilst he was here. Really really knowledgeable and incredibly professional. So impressed with the service and won't be using anyone except Lee from now on!! Thanks for doing such a brilliant job!

I would thoroughly recommend Lee. He is always responsive, punctual and clear in his communications, turns up when he says he will, and is very knowledgeable. He is most of the way through installing a complete new central heating system in my house that I am renovating. The detail in his planning and his attention to detail when completing the works is second to none. Due to the on-going multi-phased renovation works, he is required to undertake the works over different visits, all of which has caused no issues. He is certainly one of those few tradesmen that go the extra mile for their customers, I would have no hesitation in working with Lee again.

We have used Glo Heating exclusively for the past 5 years. Initially to help renovate a large Victorian House and then routinely for boiler servicing and gas safety certificates. During the renovation project Glo Heating undertook a myriad of tasks including replacing the main gas boiler, reconfiguring the central heating system to create 2 separate zones, installation of underfloor heating in a large kitchen dining area and a plethora of electrical and plumbing tasks. Glo Heating removed a old electric storage heating system from our rental flat and replaced it with a new boiler and gas central heating they worked so hard we never had to chase them and did a excellent job it was first class, they did everything all the gas and the electric and much quicker than expected, the flat was left so clean and tidy all the rubbish was taken away and the price was good. We have now used them 3 times and in our own home. I never normally write a reviews as it’s so rare to have such a good service that I can recommend.
