CGE Southern carried out kitchen ventilation filter changes and catering gas works at Pangbourne Primary School, Berkshire, and the standard of work was excellent throughout. Their engineers were professional, fully compliant with commercial gas safety requirements, and worked efficiently around school hours to minimise disruption to catering operations.
I called CGE Southern for an installation of an outdoor tap, a young man called Zack arrived to carry out the job, he was very polite and personable from the outset. The job was quite awkward and required Zack to move quite a bit of equipment and various items from the shed before he could gain access to the water supply. He did this without complaint and with complete care. As I am a disabled man in a wheelchair, I was unable to clear this space in preparation. There was a difficulty in locating in the main stopcock, which is located in a different road. Zack took this in his stride and contacted the waterboard and resolved the issue. The work was completed to the highest standard. I am very grateful to CGE. Thank you

I called CGE Southern late in the evening after our boiler packed up. I spoke with Andy, who was incredibly polite and helpful, and he arranged for an engineer to be with us by 9:30 the next morning. James, the engineer, arrived right on time. He was fantastic, quickly diagnosing that the boiler had drained itself. He serviced the unit and fixed the issue, all while clearly explaining what he was doing every step of the way. Both Andy and James are a true credit to the business. What a great find. We first used CGE when looking for a problem with low water pressure in our small hotel installing a commercial pump & tank. They came up with a housing and access solution that they installed and fitted themselves. This saved us nearly 10k and we dealt with one company when before it was builders and plumbers and gas engineers. Since then we’ve called them to help connect underfloor heating to our boiler. Matt Andy and Harry have also fixed our domestic boiler when we ran into issues. They are professional friendly and have come up with solutions to a range of issues we’ve had. Always available / even out of hours and unsociable days. They’ve had people on sight fixing things when no other company could. When the boiler failed at one of our rental properties, Andy had one of his team attend within the hour. GGE Southern quickly analysed the fault, repaired it and left our tenant with a fully operational system. A great team, excellent service and will be using CGE Southern whenever the need arises. The guys who came out to sort my gas pipe from CGE when it was damaged came to my property quickly, and were very good at keeping me informed about what was going on. They were lovely to have in my house at what was a stressful time, they tested everything thoroughly to ensure it all worked again, and left things as tidy as they could once they were finished. Highly recommend.

The engineer that turned up was very polite and managed to pick up a couple of things that needed looking into, which is something other local companies have not done since our refurb began. Matt and Alfie attended today to re-hang a radiator. They were both polite and friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. They were considerate and asked if they should take off their boots. They checked our heating system was in full working order before they left and explained what to do if the pressure drops. Highly recommend them for any future work.

Our salon boiler had a pretty serious leak. Andy from CGE southern, came straight out to assess the boiler, stopping the leak and draining the system, preventing any further damage. Andy dealt with the situation in a quick and professional manor, sourced a new boiler and parts for the next day. Matthew at GCE came the next morning to dispose and for the new boiler, leaving the place looking clean and tidy. I highly recommend GCE for their professionalism and high standards of work.

Andy turned up at very short notice very quickly. He was very professional and managed to get us sorted out.
We had our bathroom sink replaced after an accident had smashed a significant part of the sink off. NFU Mutual sent a plumber to repair the problem. The contractor was courteous and efficient and worked cleanly. The sink was replaced with a similar model of similar quality quickly without any fuss or inconvenience. Many thanks.
Excellent Plumber. Called, out out of hours, arrived within the hour. Really professional, knowledgeable and polite guy arrived called Andy. He identified the issue straight away, isolated the water and cut a piece of pipe and inserted a blanking cap as a temporary fix as the issue was with a earlier plumber from a different company who had drilled a main water pipe, filled the hole and left. I will without a doubt be recommending this company and Andy to family and friends and if you are looking for a Plumber look no further. It was so nice to have a workman respect your property, wiping his feet and doing an excellent job. 11 out of 10 Andy with a huge thank you as your swift intervention stopped what could have been a sizeable food.

Fantastic work from Andy and his team, I rang him last Sunday to see if he can have look at my mums boiler this week as it had finally packed up, by Monday afternoon he had been out, told me it was time to replace it, by Wednesday morning mum had a new shiny boiler with heat and hot water. Recently our carbon monoxide alarm went off which resulted in our gas having to be turned off by an emergency engineer. Very good service all round, my boiler packed up and was fixed up ASAP. Communication was very quick with Andy, all my questions regarding the installation were answered in a punctual manner.
