Had HeatWave Manchester out to upgrade our gas supply pipework ahead of a combi boiler install later this year. The existing pipe was undersized for what the new boiler would need, so they came out, assessed the whole run from the meter through to the kitchen, and upgraded it to the correct diameter to handle the higher gas flow rate. Really impressed with how thorough it was — they explained why the upgrade was needed (didn’t want to just say ‘trust me’), worked cleanly, and made sure everything was tidied away and tested properly before signing off. All fully certified and Gas Safe registered, which gave us peace of mind given it’s not something you want done on the cheap. Now the pipework’s ready and waiting for when we get the new combi fitted, no need to dig back into walls or floors again. Professional, punctual, and clearly know their stuff. Would recommend to anyone getting ready for a boiler upgrade.
Excellent service from start to finish! Had a combi boiler installation done at my property in Manchester and couldn’t be happier with the results. Lukasz was reliable and on time for every appointment, and the work itself was completed to a really high standard. What stood out most was how clean and tidy they left everything — you’d never have known a full installation had taken place. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Manchester area looking for a trustworthy gas engineer and plumber. Five stars!

Lucas was very nice and informative, felt confident in his ability at all times. He worked tirelessly to ensure our shower issues resolved (which stemmed from boiler issues) and now the shower has never been hotter! And our boiler is in good health and set up for years to come.
Lukasz has done work at my house on three occasions and he is just great- turns up for the appointment as planned; is really really lovely to deal with; and does a great job. He has serviced my boiler and rebalanced the radiators (which I previously could get no heat from at all) and now my house is lovely and warm. Lukasz has a “can do” attitude, gets on with the jobs and cleans up afterwards. A great plumber - a keeper!

Hired Heatwave to cap off a gas pipe for me and remove the old gas fireplace it was connected to. I had a really good experience: really lovely guy, good communication, and he went above and beyond in explaining things and double checking my other gas appliances. Left the place tidy and gave me a certificate for the works.

Lukasz provided a very professional boiler and radiator installation service with reasonable pricing. As a family who came from Hong Kong, the boiler is a whole new concept and system to us. Lukasz explained clearly the whole process of the installation before he started to work. He is willing to listen to what we need and instantly provides professional advice. During the installation, he checks all the plumbing system details to ensure there will not be water leakage problems in the long run. After the installation, he briefly explained how to use the boiler system. I definitely recommend!

A neighbour could smell gas in the house and capped the meter. After contacting Lucasz he didn’t have a free appointments but as the majority of our appliances Lucasz came out. Lucasz arrived within the hour. He was a lovely, professional man. After introducing himself Lucasz immediately got to work. The gas leak was found and the gas source was capped and the appliance removed. Cabant had said it was a serious leak. Excellent service, a reliable, pleasant, knowledgeable person who identified the problem and solved it without any fuss. 10/10 I would recommend him to all my friends, family and beyond. Really nice bloke.
