Had a replacement glass in my kitchen. The 2 fitters that came were lovely. Rung to say when they were on their way. Would highly recommend. The process from beginning to end was excellent.

Abbey Glass came out to service out our double glazing window which would not close. Helpful from first contact, arrived when expected, professional friendly attitude, and fixed the window without any issues. Appropriate pricing.

Great experience with Abbey Glass. We had a sticking Bifold door, contacted them on Tuesday, they came at 9.00 on Wednesday - bang on time. They fixed the problem, what is more despite being out of guarantee - they did this free of charge. I wish all companies were like Abbey Glass, they are a credit to Sheffield.

Excellent service from the first phone call to the quote and then the fitting and all done within 2 weeks - I would wholeheartedly recommend them - for window repairs, saved money compared to other companies that wanted to replace whole windows. The team that come out - Alan, Mick and Mikey were brilliant!! - only wish we had booked them years before. We will only think of Abbey Glass in future for such jobs. I visited Abbey Glass today to order a door. I had already looked online and had a specific door design in mind. To complete the order I wanted to speak to someone at the office. However, I was greeted by a very unhelpful young man who seemed intent on sending me away to do my order online. After about 10 minutes of this unhelpfulness I decided to go elsewhere. Shame. The designs online looked good.

Just had two new windows fitted both done, cleaned in less than half an hour. Workmen polite, respectful of property really pleased with speedy service. Highly recommended.

Amazing service! Ordered a replacement sealed unit and it was ready the next day. Unfortunately I broke it! I called them in despair and the replacement was ready the morning after. Great to see good old fashioned customer service again. Can’t fault the quality and price either…

My wife and I have used Abbey Glass several times and each time they have been brilliant. I like using local independent businesses and in Abbey Glass you get an efficient, friendly and sensibly priced service. In the latest instance they were super speedy in getting out to our house and then the help and advice plus quality of work was top draw. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their staff team of Alan & Mick are one in a million, the best guys you could wish for to come round to get a job done for you!

Excellent service, fast turnaround for Double Glazing Units. I’ve bought an entire house of units over the years to replace old misted ones. Great quality units and price. Friendly staff. I took a mirror down that I wanted cutting down to size as IKEA stopped making 120cm x 40cm ones, perfectly cut to size! Abbey Glass is even better now they are down near Queens Road across from Halfords, plenty of parking spaces.

Had two panes od glass cut whilst waiting. Only took 5 minutes. The gentleman who cut the glass even carried the glass to my car and laid it in the boot. Refreshingly good service I this day and age. Would highly recommend.

Friendly service and knowledgeable

Dropped 16inch x 48 inch diamond leaded failed double glazed pane in for replacement. Was asked if I had a previous price I said no so was told £155 and 7 to 14 days to make which I thought was a tad long and expensive. I left but given I was going on holiday Friday I didn't fancy the temporary wood panel being in during my trip so I rang a competitor on Broadfield rd to see if they could do it quicker. Yes was the answer 2 / 3 days max so I asked price £72 sounded more realistic. The only conclusion I can come to is given I was a random walk in member of the public someone was trying to have my pants down unfortunately we are not all that guillable. Collected pane and dropped off at Sheffield window company collection tomorrow afternoon. Anyone can draw there own conclusion I am just quoting the facts.

Great service, they were really speedy with a quote for a broken window, the turnaround was pretty fast to order the glass and install it, final price was lower than the original estimate. Fitters were friendly and professional and had the broken pane replaced quickly and they took the damaged glass away too. Would definitely recommend.

Went in hoping they could cut me a peice of glass for my bearded dragons vivarium as I had just moved house and it got smashed! Within less than 5 minutes the guy had sorted my problem out! He even did the job for free after hearing my dragon had been rescued and only had three legs!! Thank you so much!! Couldn't ask for better service! Used Abbey Glass about 4 times in the last year as my business had been repeatedly broken into. On the last occasion I went for much stronger glass. It was heavy. The guy from the shop carried the glass to my car and placed it in on an angle leaning agains the side. I am no glass pro so assumed this was perfectly alright. Anyway, it was clearly the absolute wrong thing to do as the glass cracked all the way across. I called them and was told it was not their fault and I could buy another at full price, not even an offer of a discount. I think this is terrible customer service and hence I will never use them again. I also waited weeks to get them to so much as offer a discount so that I did not have to write this review but sadly they just ignored further communication. Abbey Glass you should learn from this - a) load glass properly b) have some post sale customer service.

So pleased with our new window, which was beautifully installed at a very competitive price. The old window was draughty and badly in need of replacing but in an awkward position and several other firms had looked at it but declined the job. Abbey Glass came to the rescue, were cheerful and professional in all our conversations, and did the job in a few hours with minimum fuss. Can highly recommend them.

I had a huge double-glazed glass pane and a smaller one replaced, as the seals had failed over time. The 4 guys who came were friendly and courteous. They completed the job in much less time than I expected, left NO mess inside or out, and they even cleaned the rest of the glass around the window that they hadn't even replaced! :) Highest recommendations for them!

Think you should check who drive your vans, clearly don’t know the Highway Code or to check mirrors disgusted that they pulled out on me

We contacted the shop for a quote for a repair, the response was quick and the quote very reasonable. Having accepted we were delighted to receive a telephone call to say they had a cancellation . Within 2hours the job was complete. The service was outstanding!!! the telephone conversations brightened our day and Alan was a pleasure to have in our home. Been using these for years for my stove glass. Always been very good. Bought a new glass for my stove ( I have been using stoves for over 30 yrs and been in building / installation the same amount of time ) fixed the replacement glass very carefully as always, lit a small bed in the bottom of the stove came back hour or so later to build up and glass had several cracks in it. Phone Abbey Glass up to explain and was told I needed to have a tiny fire for two weeks to bed the glass in. Asked if I could get a replacement and was told I could buy another. Great help! Couldn't be bothered discussing it any further with them. Shan't be using them anymore. Rubbish customer care.

I have been a loyal customer of Abbey Glass for nearly 20 yrs their Service is second to none , I have found they are very competitive on all prices I have asked for . Their Quality in all jobs they have done for me is First Class , I would Highly recommend Abbey Glass.

Got a 6mm green tint bevelled edge round corner toughened glass table top for a rattan garden furniture set and it made it look loads better and easier to clean.

Fast friendly service.

We had a new front door and two windows from Abbey Glass and the service has been impeccable throughout. One of the windows was faulty (a manufacturing error on the sealed unit) and they handled it superbly; really responsive to our complaint and it was replaced within a week. We have more windows that need replacing so we will be back - customers for life!

I contacted Abbey Glass to quote for a small job. They were four times more expensive than another local company - I feel this was largely because I was a woman and they were looking to take advantage. I did reply to the outrageous quote asking for them to break it down in terms of cost of materials and labour but have not heard back.

This is the first time I've used Abbey Glass and have to say I'm very very impressed. I needed two small pieces of double glazed glass to replace windows that had 'fogged up' inside with the intention of fitting them ourselves. The guys are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the 'Can do' and 'No job too small ' attitude is brilliant and something I have not found with other glazing companies. Ok fast service

Just had two very large panes of window glass fitted to replace cracked windows. The lads did a fantastic job working in windy, rainy conditions and didn't stop. Great job, very reasonably priced, and will be using again to replace some blown out double glazed windows in a few months time. Would definitely recommend.

When all the big boys can not do the job you remember why you should always go local! I was unable to get anyone to repair two stuck uv pvc windows then I called Abbey glass,they came the next day nice and early and in one hour fixed both windows.The two gentlemen were efficient,pleasant and very fast. I can speak highly of the company and the work they did. Never again will I go with a nationwide company when I have Abbey on my doorstep.Thank you again

Was supposed to have my window fitted tomorrow but got told end of the week it took one week to send someone out and it's going to be a week and a bit to fit it and I was not given a day or time they be coming back. Think that's very unprofessional

Help full staff. Got quote over the phone and went to collect. Found it one of the easiest places to get what i was looking for

Got these guys to come out and measure 3 windows in my conservatory,due to the old windows seals had gone in the windows, a team of window installers came to measure the 3 windows and once they had measured the windows and I had received the quote from the owner , I decided to go through with the quote but only to have these guys produce the glass, after putting in my order and relating back to them they supplied the glass to there own measurements Which was written down on the quote in writing, after picking the glass up and ready to install the glass , two of the glass units turned out to be 100mm smaller than the original units , I made contact with abbey glass and after they found the quote they sent me, they said it was not there fault and it was down to me to provide the measurements, my argument is they would have made up these units regarding to the measurements they had provided and the units would have still been wrong. I think they are a very unprofessional company ,because they wouldn't rectify their mistake or refund the money back for the 2 units that were made up wrong. I think there customer service is deplorable because they aren't bothered once they have your money. I wouldn't recommend this company, I would rather go with a large reputable glazing company, that is grateful for your custom

Ordered some glass cut and ground for a pet enclosure, gave specific measurements and they were kept to perfectly. When our careful measurements turned out to be wrong, they were exceptionally helpful and sorted us out immediately when we brought the glass back in to cut down! Happy pets in their new enclosures and happy owners who received unbeatable customer service!

I recently had work done by Abbey glass and was very pleased with the workmanship, service and competitive price. They replaced two misted up panels of double glazing; a very big central one in the bay window and one of the French window panels. The bay window proved a difficult and long job to get the old glass out but the guys were great and remained cheerful throughout!. They also replaced a window sill and are now cutting some glass to size for me. They were all always efficient, reliable, communicated well and were easy and friendly to deal with and did a good job. Definitely recommend them and would use them again.

I'm constantly using this place for all my glass needs as i'm a property buyer and seller, without fail the guys at Abbey Glass offer a friendly face and pleasant attitude when it comes to their profession. From the large jobs like doors and windows all the way down to the tiny jobs like bedside table tops and glass for picture frames, they always help me out or guide me in the right direction. I rang Abbey Glass yesterday, muinutes before they were due to close, to enquire if they had a particular style of opaque glass for my bathroom window. The piece I required was only 35cm X 25cm, so of minimal cost. The polite and friendly guy that I spoke to asked me for the design details, which I didn't have, so he suggested that I send a photo. Within minutes he rang back and confirmed that they had the design in stock. I called in for the glass the following afternoon, which was quickly cut to size and safely wrapped whilst I waited. The total cost of the transaction was £4, so little or no profit margin, but 100% customer service regardless! Thank you Abbey Glass, I will definitely recommend your services :-)

Very rude and arrogant staff, they don't really know what they are doing, one of the most expensive but very poor products, would have got a better product if I got it 2nd.

bought some glass and putty from them a few days ago and the putty was dried out and unusable had to throw it away
