Shard End Glass & Glazing Co Ltd

Brilliant company, brilliant customer service 5+star rating, brilliant, brilliant. Thank you

Really pleased with the service and installation. Staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodated my requirements. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for mirrors to be installed.

Exceptional service from start to finish. I used another company to install a sureflap connect cat flap that specifically needs non metallic spacers. The catflap didn't work as they've used the incorrect spacers. I had to replace the unit. Only shard end glass were happy to look into it. Kurt was amazing. He even called the manufacturer to ensure compatibility of spacers. When they say they will call you back they will call you back promptly. The communication happened over the phone but the quote with visual representation and dimensions of what you are getting is via email/website. This is very good. You have everything in writing to double check and keep for your records. The catflap now works brilliantly. The installer even clearned the upvc door and aligned the door. Highly recommended.

What a great company 😃😃 so professional from start to finish. Excellent work and wonderful customer service….highly recommend this company 😍 thanks guys

Had double glazed unit showing signs of moisture after 15 months called in to see them with a picture of unit and luckily the receipt and no ifs and buts straight away said that they would replace it at no cost to me. Highly recomend, thank you again

Fantastic service and great value for money. Popped in and got glass pane cut and bubble wrapped for very cheap. Great service, would recommend for all your glass needs

Had a smashed entrance window at my workplace in Birmingham city centre, called Shard End for a replacement and Jamie and Ash were out same day, removed the damaged glass and replaced it with a new one extremely quickly. Cleaned up the new glass and cleaned up pieces from the floor. Fast and excellent service, thank you!

Kurt and Jason did a great tidy job replacing the glass at our new property. Left clean and tidy and worked quickly 👍

Great service recently from both the office and shop floor staff, friendly and welcoming which is always nice from a customer point of view. They were also able to manufacture my unit within 2 days whereas another company quoted 5-7 days so that was an additional bonus.(price was competitive too). Keep up the good work, it’s much appreciated.

Great business for getting your glass cut to measurement. Very friendly staff.

Wow, what an amazing service. Right from when I called for a quote, the team were brilliant and helpful... the whole process was smooth. Excellent service with a professional approach, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone thinking of looking for a glass or glazing company.

Good service and usually great here but on this occasion a very large piece of glass was thrown into a skip carried by a few people that when smashed a lot came out over our car. Luckily no damage but a bit of health and safety to be added here.

Excellent service from start to finish would definitely use Shard End glass again.

Good customer service.

Great service by the staff member. Due to being in a wheelchair I was unable to get in to the customer reception so I sat by the open shutter and soon as a staff member was available they came streight over to me and served me with no issues. Really happy with the service I revived and will be visiting again

Always a great service, Always on time and always keep you updated with progress 👍

The lovely man that delivered our glass was so polite and very helpful! Brilliant guy!

My experience with you has been really satisfying, you helped me, advised me, thank you for everything.

I had 8 blown window panes replaced and cannot fault the work or service they provided. It is the only thing in my house renovation that has gone well! Great communication from the moment I contacted them for a quote. Jamie, Oliver and Alfie were brilliant from start to finish; punctual, tidy, quick and friendly! Will be getting them back in for the rest of the windows for sure. Highly recommend them.

Excellent professional service by Jamie, Ollie and Alfie to replace a large double glazed patio door window. Job done on time, with tracking of arrival time, and very efficiently. Recommend.

Very Profession and friendly service. I have already recommended this company to friends.

Brilliant place always polite and helpful a no nonsense firm go in give them your size they cut it there and then unless it's a double glazed panel you have to wait a few days for that but overall great place

Fast, Affordable, and Friendly Service I've used Shard End Glass several times for replacement glazing units in my rentals, and they've consistently impressed me. Here's why they stand out: Effortless Ordering: Forget frustrating online forms! Shard End Glass makes ordering a breeze by phone. You get to speak with knowledgeable staff who can answer your questions and guide you through the process. Unbeatable Prices: Their prices are fantastic - up to half what I've found elsewhere. This makes them a budget-friendly choice without compromising on quality. Speed and Efficiency: On my most recent order, they manufactured and delivered the two units within 24 hours! They kept me informed with a call in the morning and even texted the driver's number. That's outstanding service! Attention to Detail: In today's fast-paced world, it's rare to find such a focus on detail. Shard End Glass gets it right, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. If you're looking for top-notch glazing replacements at great prices, with exceptional customer service, look no further than Shard End Glass. I highly recommend them! Gabe (recent job delivered to Broadlee Tamworth)

Excellent service Jamie the fitter was very good he came and measured and then came back and fitted window

Happy with their work and a good price. Would recommend.

Great company to work with, very helpful and friendly - very reasonably priced too. For the latest work we were helped by Jamie who was down to earth, friendly, and did a great job - he can come back at any time - he will too because when he was here I asked him to come back and replace a double glazed pane on one of our Velux windows. Replacing four wood panels on our front door with glass is a tremendous improvement. We had thought that we would have to buy a new door but replacing the wood panels with glass is a much cheaper option and it looks great. I hope you agree.

Jamie did an excellent job replacing a double glazing window which had developed condensation. The job was done efficiently and well, and he tidied everything up really nicely. Many thanks.

Outstanding service from this company. Oliver, Jamie, Alfie and Kevin, and Mary in the office, Thank you.

Very professional knew their stuff couldn’t do enough to help me… good old school knowledge

Very good

Found them very helpful and polite when phoned for a query, took the time to explain and listen, was pleasantly surprised Glass cut, delivered and went in easily, under £100 for 43" x 43" double glazed 28mm thick unit that had blown, great price. Thanks Patrick, Great Barr

The first time I have used Shard End Glass. (December 2023). Needed two blown double glazed units replacing in a porch. Excellent job, matched the leading perfectly. Couldn't recommend Shard End Glass highly enough. Great service, thank you Jamie and Ollie.

Fast and easy to get glass cut to size while you wait.

Great experience with Shard End glass. Our office block has tricky windows to say the least. We sort out 3 quotes and two other contractors decided not to pursue the work as it was too complex. Shard End glass took the job on and did a great job. Oli and Jamie, who fitted the windows, were great. They explained the process and got through the window replacements extremely quickly and efficiently. Thanks very much

James and Oliver done a smashing job replacing glass in front door and a side panel. Great job, made my day coming home from work and seeing lovely glass instead of horrible blown glass. Thank you for doing a great job. Hope I got names right

Couldn't recommend Shard end highly enough, great service, going above and beyond always, Jamie and Olly are absolutely spot on, very professional and very health and safety conscious- Such a credit to the company

A very efficient and friendly fitting by two lovely men. I’d definitely recommend them for their kindness and expertise.

Used Shard End Glass a couple of times in the past 12 months when my previously used contractor was too busy. Great bunch including Scott, Matt & Owen... they turned up for the site survey reliably on the scheduled day and on time, came back to fit products when they said they would, all fitted fine first time. Job done.

They made me 2 lots of replacement double glazing panels for a DIY job and they were very helpful and accommodating.

Excellent customer service, thanks Steve!!

I used this company and never will again,we been waiting since the 07th aug for them to replace glass in front of house because they orded the wrong thickness,i call them about 3 times and just got words and told they will ring me,which they never,we are a surported living accomdation with vunreable young people, not a company i would recommend.

Bought a large glass splashback and a smaller piece of glass to go behind the sink area. Shard end glass were really helpful, i had to adjust the size slightly but they didn't mind at all. They were the cheapest out of all the quotes i got and even gave me fittings to attach everything. Such a positive experience , will definitely be going back to them in the future for any glazing needs.

Excellent and friendly service from the staff at Shard End Glass. Needed two replacement windows as they had misted up. I spoke to their sales a few times and they made sure I had given them the correct measurements as the ones I needed to replace had Georgian bars. John dropped them up to my office and even put them in my boot for me and I wasn't charged anything for delivery. Brilliant customer service I can't fault them.

Fast service. Very friendly counter staff

Excellent service from all staff, whether its the trade desk or the back room staff, nothing is too much trouble, they give great advice when needed and provide a high quality service.

I've used this company a few times as a DIY glazier. I have always had the relevant advice over legal requirements etc something most of us are unaware of. Don't worry if you are an amateur like me .The gaffer there simply won't let you spend more than you need to, and will advise you to get the cheaper option if possible. The helpfulness even extended to helping load the car - all in "slow time". I advise to get there at least an hour before closing, the cutting process is the most skilled part of glazing after all!

Always happy to pop in, top service great guys
