REPLACEMENT DOORS Had reason to contact Glazerite recently as two doors had become near useless in the excessive heat we have been having. One door a very old wooden door must of warped and dropped. It was catching difficult to open and close and locks not working properly. The other upvc door nearly as bad as the other. Abbie , came out to see me took details of which new doors I wood like to replace them with the colours, glass, fittings etc. In the meantime Wayne did a repair job on the upvc door which was really appreciated as made me feel more secure. Then the day of the fitting for the new doors came. Wayne and his work partner arrived exactly at the time specified started work straight away, and to be honest did not stop. I am now the owner of two new fabulous looking, fully working secure doors which seemed to be fitted in no time of all. I had patio doors fitted five years ago by Wayne and that also was just such a good job. Highly recommend Wayne , Abbie and crew and am aware of other great work they have carried out for other people who rate them highly. Professional , polite, clean and tidy and competent workers. I honestly can’t recommend Glaze Rite highly enough. We were in a really stressful situation after the company who originally installed our bi-fold doors completely let us down and stopped responding, despite us being in the middle of selling our house and urgently needing some repairs completed. With only a couple of weeks before our buyers mortgage offer expired, I contacted several companies in the area for help, but because they hadn’t carried out the original installation, nobody was willing to take it on. Then Wayne and his team stepped in and genuinely came to our rescue. They were so friendly and incredibly helpful, reliable and above all, just really decent people. They understood how urgent the situation was and went out of their way to help us when they absolutely didn’t have to. After being messed around so much by another company, the difference in service was unbelievable. Wayne is an old fashioned tradesman. Turned up on time to do the quote, measured up, told us how to choose the front door we wanted. When we'd decided, he came back with the price straight away. Absolutely brilliant, decided to hire Wayne and the team to replace my glass window which had a crack as they were the most competitive in price compared to other companies I had contacted. The fitters both very professional had initially come to measure up and sketch up the design of the lead I had in my glass windows and then came back within days to fit it. I recently had all of my old, worn out windows replaced with new UPVC units, along with a brand new bow window installed, and I could not be happier with the result. The whole team were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. They were a pleasure to have around the house and clearly took real pride in their work. Everything has been completed to a very high standard and the new bow window has completely transformed the front of the house. We recently needed some window locks replacing on a rental property. As Wayne was on holiday, one of his staff came out to quote and we were happy to proceed. On his return, Wayne personally came out to do the work and advised that only the handles (not the mechanisms) needed replacing, reducing the cost by £90.00! Hows that for service in this day and age? I've worked with Wayne over many years now, from complete replacement doors and windows, to simple repairs on broken locks and he has always done a brilliant job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommended Glaze Rite.

So i have had my windows and doors fitted around 4 yrs ago by someone who i thought was capable of doing the job, unfortunately my house has been really cold due to poor fitting. Recently, I contacted Wayne of GlazeRite after Google search to replace a faulty double glazed window unit of the conservatory and some other door lock and window related issues/problems. Wayne visited same day looked at the problems /issues sorted out one main door alignment issue immediately. Later on, same day he sent me the quotation to carry out remedial works. I called Wayne to enquire if he could advise about some problems I was having with windows fitted by another company. He came to the house and assessed what the problems were. He explained to me why I was having the problems I was having, and what could and couldn’t be done for each window and door. If anyone is thing of having secondary glazing, doors, windows, conservatories etc I cannot recommend this company enough. The guy who runs it ‘Wayne’ is a perfect example of how a professional should run their company, which is very difficult to come by these days. From the moment initial contact was made (on a Sunday afternoon) the communication, attention to detail and fitting was spot on. Addressed all my concerns, tried to be as cost effective as he could, unfortunately due to poor quality and of the doors that had been previously installed by another company we came to the decision that the whole fitment had to be replaced for the patio doors but Wayne was able to save us money on the front door that needed attention by just replacing the insert of the door and now I have a door that shuts and locks properly! His workers were efficient neat, and tidy and quality was far better than I originally had.

very happy with my choice to go with these guys to replace all my windows and doors. their quote came in £2000 cheaper than the competition and they were basically flawless from start to finish. neat and tidy work, and very approachable team. only minor problem was one acoustic pane of glass came out in the wrong size, but they left a normal pane in its place, and then swapped it for the correct size acoustic pane when they came back a week or so later to fit my front door, so it made no difference anyway. very highly recommended!

I recently chose Glaze Rite to replace an old wooden window and 2 blown windows at my home after reading their glowing reviews online, and I’m happy to say they lived up to the reputation. Wayne came over to measure up after I received the very competitive quote and a change to my initial request. The quality of both the windows and the fitting was spot on, with a clean, professional finish inside and out. There was a slight hiccup with the initial glass, which had a crack in it. However, this was replaced promptly two days later, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and would 100% recommend Glaze Rite. I chose Glaze Rite based on their excellent reviews and was not disappointed. I needed all my windows and doors replacing. Wayne came out promptly to look at the job and with only the guideline of trying to match the existing window style, gave a very competitive quote, with detailed, annotated diagrams of each window. He replied quickly to any query I had and gave me a firm date for startng the work. Unfortunately, I still had scaffolding up from another job and they weren't able to start as planned because of poor access, but were really understanding and stayed in close communication, starting the job as the scaffolding was taken down. Despite me being rather vague about what I wanted for windows and doors, I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality and style, as Wayne had used his experience to supply styles that were exactly fitting for my house, location, use and safety. Spencer and his mate, (sorry I missed his name) did an amazing job, working with great skill and speed, completing the whole house to an excellent standard and attention to detail, in just over 2 days. They were really friendly and helpful, consulting me over anything that needed a decision making and giving me lots of useful tips. Despite the house being a total renovation job, they still maintained the highest levels of workmanship, leaving their work areas cleaner than they've probably been in the last 20 years! I thoroughly recommend Glazerite, and have already asked them to do more work on family property. (The photos probably don't show just how good the windows and doors are, I'm afraid, as the rest of the house now needs bringing up to the same excellent standard. )

Wayne arrived and gave us an in depth quotation displaying his knowledge and experience as a window fitter / extension builder and was able to provide sound advice. Glazerite required no payment up front, and arrived on the date and time as planned with a team of four friendly experienced guys and set to work. This time i had him come out to assess a broken handle mechanism on my en-suite window that wouldn't open,The mechanism inside had broken over time. I've used Glazerite for many years for full house replacement of windows and doors. Also, for smaller jobs, Wayne has always been quick to come out for emergencies, when I needed a replacement lock and another time when I needed a replacement glass panel which got accidentally broken when by a stray stone propelled by the strimmer when I was strimming the grass. Wayne from Glaze Rite is excellent. I would recommend him without hesitation. He completed an overhaul of my mum’s front door. He also supplied a quote for a replacement door which my mum decided against and there was no pressure from Wayne, he still completed the work as requested.
