The guys at birmingham glass services have done a excellent installation of new windows on my home. Everything clean and tidy, no mess or damage, and turned up bright and early. Brillant job. Highly recommeded.

Mike and the team are exceptional. Great communication from initial survery, pricing and alterations and the installers did a great job. After weeks of alerting long pull handle coming away from composite front door, Director, Mike, company given to him by Daddy, dissolved my 10 year contract; I phoned 'Daddy'' who came to see, promised next day - no show! Phoned him, quite assertive that nobody "messies" with my house. He came round 20 minutes later and job was done in less than a minute!! Why do BGS cause the hassle and upset to homeowners, do they think they're Special? Our houses are our castles!

Made light work of a difficult job Paddy was very helpful with accommodating the design which was changed several times. And the fitters John & Danny were brilliant a big job porch door windows and front door all on a Friday well done very professional worked round issues as they came to them highly recommend. Finished item looks amazing.

Absolutely brilliant used before and no problems from start to finish. The 2 installers sam and Tom are a credit to the company, polite and know what they are doing.

Bathroom window fitted, very poor finish, you have cracked the existing tile work and covered it with clear sealant so the crack remains visible. This problem was reported to you, fitters returned and stated they knew nothing about it. Very poor.

From the initial quote by Paddy who was really friendly and communicable, answering any of my questions, to the installation by Sam, Tom and Danny who were super friendly and tidy. This company fitted windows door and a conservatory more than ten years ago which were excellent and are as good as new. There was a slight issue with a failed seal which although not covered under warranty as this had expired, I had no hesitation in inviting them back to replace. This work was done with efficiency and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend them

A first rate,quality company.I had 5 windows installed in my 1st floor Maisonette. To start we had a proffesional and warm manored free quote from Paddy who listened to our requirements and gave his experience to our needs.The work followed less than 2wks later.Dave was the main experienced fitter with 23yrs service.He knows his job inside out and gave a quality proffesional service which was second to none.With him was Sean who took care of the exterior work and is a really hard working friendly person.Also Tom was learning his job and will be a great asset in future. All in all this company is in my veiw a trusted outfit that I will recommend to anyone.Prices are great too.

This company was recommended to me and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who would like a first class job. Follow-up: I have since contacted them to replace glass in a kitchen window but they have failed to ring me back TWICE so don’t bother asking them to consider smaller jobs. They obviously aren’t interested!

Our Experience with Birmingham Glass Services Limited We contacted Birmingham Glass Services several weeks ago to arrange a visit, as we were looking to have a new stable-style kitchen door installed. An initial visit was arranged promptly. The representative showed us a brochure, discussed options, and provided a price estimate, which was later confirmed as accurate. Within a week, a surveyor attended to take precise measurements and clearly explained the next steps in the process. Shortly afterwards, we were contacted to arrange the deposit, which we paid over the phone. We were then given an installation date a few weeks later, with confirmation provided in advance. We were also contacted beforehand to adjust the installation time, which was handled efficiently and conveniently. On the day, two installers, John and Danny, arrived as scheduled. They were polite, professional, and introduced themselves clearly. After offering them refreshments, we left them to carry out the work. Once completed, they took the time to demonstrate the door’s features and ensure we were fully comfortable with its operation. They also explained the enhanced security features of the lock and how to register it for an extended guarantee, which was a welcome addition. The workmanship was excellent. They left everything clean and tidy—there was no mess, no damage, and you would hardly have known any work had taken place. From our first point of contact through to completion, every member of the team was professional, courteous, and efficient. John and Danny, in particular, represented the company exceptionally well with their attitude and attention to detail. Overall, this was a very positive experience. We had a conservatory installed with some quite awkward measurements where it met the roof, but the team handled it really well. They came back multiple times to double check measurements. Which was reasuring and showed attention to detail. The finished product looks fantastic, and we are really pleased how it turned out. Although we did have snagging issues, the customer service was excellant and was dealt with promptly. Overall we are happy and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Had 2 compromised double glazing units that needed replacing. Contacted Birmingham Glass via their website and got a response the same day. They came around within 2 days and measured the units for purposes of a quote. 10 days later the units were fitted in less than 30 minutes. The service was quick, friendly and professional. No mess was left, and all the staff that I dealt with were great. the price was very competative

Had a replacement patio door fitted, over all experience was positive. Quality was good, communication was very good. Turned up for appointments on time & scheduled for fitting went ahead as planned.

We needed to change our old patio doors to a sliding door within a tight timeframe. Birmingham Glass stepped in and gave us a quote, measured and fitted it in just over a week. Really clear contact with easy way to pay and communication. We couldn’t get the doors through our front door and with no side entry, the awesome guys took it over the flat extension roof. Quick, affordable and efficient installation of quality secondary glazing in the Victorian cottage part of our community building, so that we can keep our heritage sash windows.

Birmingham Glass recently replaced a standard kitchen window (costing £747.00) and ended up causing two holes in the plaster of the adjoining wall - one large and one smaller hole and a crack running down the length of the adjoining wall. Mike Skerrett (Director) visited the flat to inspect the damage and agreed to plaster the large hole but nothing else and mentioned that this sometimes happens and is included in the contract I signed (in the small print!). Therefore, I was not entitled to any discount to the cost of replacing the window or compensation, which I thought was unreasonable. In the meantime, I kept receiving daily reminders to pay their overdue invoice for poor quality work and the damage they caused! Mike agreed to put me in touch with a decorator he knew but made it very clear that any decorating costs to fix the damaged wall would be incurred by me and not Birmingham Glass. Mike’s recommended decorator did not materialise despite repeated calls I made. Really poor quality work from Birmingham Glass and really bad customer care from the top of the company. Would not recommend Birmingham Glass.

So happy with my installation. Compared to other window companies I got quotes from, Birmingham glass ltd stood out for being professional and the service lived up to that. Windows look great, can already tell the difference with sound and installation. Cant stop looking at them! One small window had a scratch on it, and before I even noticed it myself, I had received an email advising a new part had been ordered and with an appointment time for its replacement the following week. They replaced two very old units in my kitchen window that were prone to condensation internally due to leaking seals, and a wooden framed window in the back of my garage that in it's previous life had been in a bathroom, so couldn't be seen through. Bobby (sales), Steve (surveyor) and John (fitter) were all friendly, helpful and did a very good job at what seems a reasonable price.

We've used Birmingham Glass Services Ltd on 3 occasions, for a patio window, porch window and front door, and most recently for a kitchen window. They are reasonably priced and have always done an excellent job.

We had a full set of windows installed and a patio door replaced with french windows. A truly impressive service. The fitting team were prompt and work extremely hard for the whole job. The communications throughout the complete process from initial contact, through the design briefs, and fitting to the end were excellent. Based on my experience I would fully endorse this company.

Horrible customer service, your worker came to change the windows of our neighbour and they cut off my cctv camera wire. I spoke to the worker and showed him what he’d done, to follow up, he said he’d ring his company and come back to sort the problem however he never came back and avoided it completely. The next day, I rang the office a multitude of times, telling them the problem they caused and everyone said they’d ring back however, once again, no one sorted the problem. It’s been more than five days and my cctv is not working, now I’ve had to resort to spending my own money to sort the issue they caused due to their clumsiness and lack of awareness. Unreliable and bad company, causing havoc and not attending to any of their mistakes, very upset with poor service.

We were extremely happy with the work that Birmingham Glass did for us, replaced windows, back door, patio doors and created a porch with two doors at the front. Their quote came in at the price we were hoping for, no messing, no "special offers", and the work proceeded at a rapid pace, 8 weeks from first contact to final payment. They made no mess, we thought we would need to redecorate, but no, in fact with all the sweeping up they did, I think we were tidier than when they started! We would recommend them any time.

I contacted Birmingham Glass Services on a Thursday with a view to getting a quote for a bedroom window replacement. I had used this local company previously in the past. I needed it done quickly, as I had an opening window that would not close and the sealed unit had misted. A salesperson arrived the very next morning and measured up for a quote. While he was here, I also asked for a quote for a misted landing window unit that had needed replacing for ages. I was surprised to get the quotes the very same day. They seemed very reasonable so I accepted. Just one week later, a further visit for an accurate measure, meant the job could go ahead. I was very surprised to get a message to say the job could be done on the following Monday, just 11 days after first making contact! The single installer arrived at 8.30am and got started. His first job was to completely cover and protect all carpets from the front door, up the stairs and into the bedroom. Nothing was going to make them dirty, one of my fears! Sam, the installer, got on with the work and in no time the job was finished. No time wasted having tea breaks or chatting with another installer - all of the work done on his own and from inside. I was impressed to say the least. He removed all old materials and waste. After he had gone I looked to see what cleaning was needed and found none! Two perfectly installed windows with beautifully clean glass. I was very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is unsure of who to call. BGS are a friendly, reliable and hard working team; from the initial contact, information provided for quoting and choice of products, to having the work done; there was a no pressure feel. Had the whole house refitted. The two fitters really were superb, meticulous to detail and grafters! Can't fault the service or correspondence.

Fantastic service through the initial estimate and follow up (Thank you to Paddy for the lack of pushy sales and just letting the quote speak for itself) together with the actual fitting of 13 windows, 2 sets of French doors and a composite front door. The fitters took great care, explained everything and delivered a great finish on time and with very little disruption. One issue with the initial order led to 3 weeks of to-ing and fro-ing (but there were no drastic issues, just an error on order which could be temporarily resolved, pending a full resolution). Google won't let me drop half a star, so I've had to drop a full star, just because the glazer responsible for sorting the issue wasn't great at keeping me informed of timings (turned up early to remeasure, and then late to two subsequent appointments). The glazing team manager, Jake, was really helpful and communicative on progress, it was simply the last little bit of aftercare. Would happily recommend Birmingham Glass. Great service (99%of the time), reasonable price and a great overall job.

Fantastic service from this local family run firm from start to finish. I knew that I needed 3 new windows but I asked the surveyor to check all my other windows. This he did, and advised that they were all fine - no unnecessary upselling which impressed me greatly! I paid my deposit when the quote came in and a date for installation was agreed immediately. Very good turnaround time and the units are made onsite locally. On installation day the fitters arrived early but were in their van. I invited them in and they set to work protecting carpets and furniture from dust. They didn’t stop until all my windows were installed. They cleaned the glass several times. Absolutely immaculate job. They swept up and cleared up afterwards and left the place spotless. We contacted BGS as we were looking for ideas to freshen up our facias, soffits and guttering (installed by another company many years ago) as the gutters, soffits and facias had become tired, faded and broken in parts. Mike came out promptly and gave us several options and we appreciated his honesty when he advised a good clean of the fascia/soffits, tidy up / fixing of loose corners and new gutters would be more than enough rather than a much more expensive full replacement . We took Mike's advice , received clear quotes to consider the options and were booked in promptly, on a date to suit us when we decided which route to take. The team arrived on time on the day, fixed, cleaned and installed where required over the quoted two full days. The team were prompt, polite, informative and efficient. The result is amazing, we now have facias and soffits that look like new, along with new guttering, all of which have given the house a new lease of life and much improved kerb appeal. I would certainly recommend BGS as they are prompt to respond, polite, sensibly priced and give you honest options along with a high quality and on time install. Earlier this year I started the often frustrating process of getting quotations for some new windows and a new front door. In most cases you get a salesman who doesn't want to leave your house without you buying from them. Vastly inflated prices that they can give giant discounts on if you agree it there and then. This is not what happens with Birmingham Glass. I completed a contact form and received a call to book an appointment for someone to visit. Ben Judd came out, he discussed what we wanted, took some measurements and said he would send a quote out via email (which I got the same day). It was an honest and fair price, I didn't receive 100s of calls trying to get me to sign up, but I did get all my questions answered in a timely manner via email (which suited me perfectly). Ordering was very simple (we ordered half the windows quoted for giving us time to save for the other half), we got an installation date and paid our deposit. The guys turned up on time and worked tirelessly (noticed not only by us, but also by our neighbours and passers by) getting everything right first time and then tidying up after themselves. The team talked us through what they were doing and even made recommendations to get the best finish. I hope they get the recognition they deserve as they have done the company proud! We could not be happier with our experience and can honestly say, they are so much better than any other window company we have dealt with. Thank you so much!

Telephoned here today to asked about upvc window locks, was told some one would call back from sales thick was Craig? Never did get the call back so drove down and went into the sales area. What a surprise when the chap behind the counter didnt have a clue about the types of upvc locking systems! I have changed many types on many different frames and just wanted to see what they had. Not interested really and sent me to another company. I did sort out what I needed online! Just goes to show why so many high street firms going bust! Employees constantly park their vehicles on the pavement outside of this business. There's a school a few hundred meters away and people are forced into the road because of illegal parking. Maybe the owners should have thought about how they would load/unload their work veichles before choosing this property to run their business from.

Been a month now and followed up Numerous times and still no quote. 12 days ago I was told 'the builder has got back to me now so I'll send your quote Monday' .. still nothing even after following up. Completed a new back door really pleased with the workman and the door. Arrived on time left no mess used this company twice now would go no where else.

We only had three windows for Birmingham glass to do, but they are rather unusual because two of them are semi-circular and the other is a big stair window and we felt we wanted something a bit special. We discussed our requirements with Birmingham glass who gave us a competitive quote. The semi-circular windows were done exactly to our brief and the stair window design mirrors exactly the design in our late 1930s front door. Dave and Sam did a great job and to say that we are thrilled is an understatement. We just keep looking at them and can't wait to have some bright days to illuminate the coloured glass to its full glory. Well done Birmingham Glass. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Used them for a large French window installation. From start to finish they were highly professional. A quick quote followed by a site survey and just a few weeks lead in to the installation. The actual installation (by Robbie) was completed in less than a day. Very please with his workmanship. No internal damage taking out the of frames etc, preserving the original wood architrade surround. Cleaned up behind him leaving no mess or debris. And, Brucie bonus, worked without loud music; a rare feat amongst contemporary British workers. Will use them again.

Birmingham Glass Services replaced 9 windows including front 4 panel bay window. Also replaced the front door with a classy coloured one and fitted French doors to replace sliding patio doors .They were all fitted on schedule with no real mess didn't even have to redecorate anywhere. I normally use another glazing firm but this time i thought i would use birmingham glass . i like the way you get 2 visits to quote and then measure up by the boss. personal service . then had 2 houses done very well. i noted the craftsmanship of the workers steve, jay and another chap. getting those angles right , professionalism , taking care . apart from forgetting a vent [ which they sorted ] i would give them 10/10 and i am a VERY fussy chap .

I have used Birmingham Glass to replace my front porch. It was installed the day I requested exactly to my wishes. The difference is stunning. I was so pleased with it that I got them to do my rear porch as well. My bungalow is now safe and secure and looks brilliant Front and Back. I have also had three windows replaced due to the seals going these were done very quickly and reasonably priced. I would recommend Birmingham Glass to anyone who needs these services. The lads are polite friendly and clean up after the job is done taking all rubbish away. Excellent Service.

All I can say is a huge thank you to Birmingham Glass - they got us out of a right pickle! We ordered a sofa that was too big to go into the room via the doorway, so I phoned Mikey and they sent somebody out, free of charge, within 30 minutes to remove a window pane, help lift the sofa in, and replace the window! We obviously slipped the chap a tip for helping, but Birmingham Glass had no need to help us out so quickly, for free, other than for good will. So a big thank you to Birmingham Glass for this, definitely recommended!

Birmingham Glass Services (BGS) Ltd have over the last 2 years completely renewed the double glazing on our property. More recently, the team have replaced our conservatory roof. BGS have shown themselves to be a highly professional company, ranging from their initial visit to our property, through to the job itself, and available by both email and telephone when one wants to get hold of them (a rarity these days)! The staff in the office are efficient, helpful and polite. The work has been to an extremely high standard, carried out on time, by a keen bunch of lads for whom nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this company.

I've just had a door installed and the service from start to finish has been excellent. After a lot of searching you were the only company I found that matched the glass design in the door and sidelight, well done, keep it up. Even though I wasn't local, journey of 2 hours, nothing was too much trouble. Rating enquiry only, not workmanship or product. Enquired online at beginning of August about replacing 13 windows, got an instant e-mail from Ben saying someone would contact me. In the meantime I've had a few quotes and since I never heard back from Birmingham Glass I am now going with someone else. Appreciate that services may be slow due to Covid but filling in these forms with all the details takes time for the customer with a belief they will be getting an appointment so perhaps take this option of the website.

Great professionalism from initial survey back in 02/20 through to late fitting 07/20 due to COVID. Back office staff kept us updated all through the lockdown and worked with us to find a suitable date. A* service from the fitters, full clean-up afterwards BUT will have to restock the tea & biscuits! Bedrooms are so much lighter with the new windows in. Thanks All.
