After living in our home for 10 years and never quite getting the garden right, working with Annabel was genuinely transformative — and one of the best investments we’ve made in our home. Despite being a keen gardener all my life, I simply couldn't work out how to create the spaces we wanted in our new 100ft south London garden. We hoped to create a feeling of living in the country, in London; with outdoor eating areas, kitchen garden, greenhouse, sheds and log store. We wanted the sound of gentle running water and a garden teeming with wildlife. Annabel was the one garden designer we saw that we felt really understood our vision, without risking losing the ethos of the garden. She kept the key components and she brought in some new instant impact. She sourced the highest quality products and plants, provided the highest quality landscapers and lighting experts. Her attention to detail and vision is extraordinary. At night you are transported into a magical world with the specialised lighting. Our friends always say they feel like they are in the country when we eat out under our old stone (newly built) gazebo during the day and they feel like they are abroad at night as the garden lights up at dusk highlighting the trees and multi-stemmed shrubs. For us, we are just so grateful that Annabel was the one we picked. She exceeded our expectations by a mile and we will be eternally grateful. We get to enjoy it night and day, throughout the year. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Annabel on the transformation of our garden and we are delighted with the outcome.
