Clare has been amazing with helping me and my partner to create a beautiful garden. She works incredibly hard and is always so friendly and helpful. I had a large collection of plants that I couldn't resist buying over the years but hadn't got into the ground! My partner and I eventually created some beds and had done a little planting ourselves but realised we needed some expert advice and help. Clare is such a Whizz at knowing where plants should be, what goes with what, and just getting on with it. The fact that she is also super keen to help wildlife wherever possible is another reason I wanted her help. I trust all her choices. The garden is coming on beautifully and going from strength to strength.
My garden is a work in progress at the moment but I am delighted with what Clare has achieved so far. Clare has dug out a beautiful wildlife pond that already looks as though it has been there for years rather than a few weeks. The planting around the pond is creative as well as beautiful . Clare has introduced new plants that have added more colour and interest to the existing beds as well as using the old favourites that were already there. I am just looking forward to seeing phase two of the project.

A few months ago we asked Clare if she could help with replanting and remodelling some areas of our garden. One area in particular needed a complete overhaul and she came up with a comprehensive plant list for us to choose from. Once we had decided on the plants she came with some help to completely rebuild with sleepers and plant up the new bed. Clare also remodelled and rejuvenated two other areas for us. The plants are now thriving and everything is looking great. We really appreciated her ideas and advice and are grateful for all her hard work as we would not have been able to achieve such a result ourselves.

Clare is brilliant. She responded to an initial request for landscaping design support through NextDoor. She was responsive and came up with a great vision for our small front garden (which we wanted to be low maintenance and nature friendly) that she executed wonderfully. We were particularly impressed with her adaptability when she came across some unexpected hurdles during excavation. All was handled neatly amd professionally. We are delighted with the results and would not hesitate to recommend her services.
Clare has re-designed my little garden and completely changed it, it looks really lovely I am so happy with it, she has worked really hard and I very much appreciate it. Clare is a really nice lady and very easy to talk to, we went through all the plants I wanted to keep and the new ones she suggested, she was very helpful and knowledgeable about plants and what would do best. My brief to Clare was to re shape the borders, and to improve my garden taking into account the extremely dry and sunny borders, the dark shady places and the poor-quality lime-based soil. 'Dust' was her description of the soil! Whilst I enjoy gardening and have a good go, I needed more expert advice. I tend to buy plants I like/know and plonk them in. But I recognised there was little base structure there and it was a bit random! We started at end April with a 'consultation'. First, we walked the garden together and we discussed the existing plants and what I was after. Then Clare had some quiet time to build her plan, and we finished with a second walk and her plans - which involved a lot (bags and bags) of manure and compost! Because I enjoy gardening, we agreed to work together. On her first visit, she re shaped the borders so they had a softer flow. We met at the local nursery to buy plants. Clare selected what she felt would best tolerate the soil and position. Some of the plants I had never heard of. Clare worked round the garden, moving existing plants to better positions, planting the new ones and enriching the soil. I found Clare to be punctual, easy to work with, very hard working, informative and enjoyable to have around. Clare has the specialist plant knowledge I needed. My garden is much improved, the borders look fuller and as the plants mature it will have the structure it needed. I highly recommend Clare to be your garden adviser.
I am delighted with the work that Clare has done in my garden over the past 5+ years. As I designed my own back garden, I didn’t need her landscaping talents. However, as I’ve grown older, I’ve needed maintenance & help with heavier work. She made short work of getting the borders & shrubs back into shape & the garden goes from strength to strength. Clare has been a godsend over the last couple of years. Our garden was getting entirely out of control and Clare has cleared, reshaped, trimmed and generally made it a wonderful space to wander in again, for which we are very, very grateful.
Clare was an answer to prayer! On receiving her postcard, a quick e-mail and then a visit, Clare began taming my fairly large garden. During the past year and many hours work she has added a lot of colour into the borders, sorted the fruit bushes and is gradually working her way round the many beds. Her excellent knowledge of plants, environmental principles and work ethic are much appreciated. She works hard, is always cheerful and very efficient. We have also benefitted from swapping plants and produce! I eagerly await Clare's visits each week.
Clare has been coming to work on our garden for a few months now and we absolutely love her! Our garden has never looked better. She is so knowledgeable, and is exactly what we wanted with regards to making our garden pretty but also great for nature. We have so many flowers now, and see so many more butterflies. The pond she convinced us to go for is a joy to watch, the birds love splashing around in it, and the kids love the tadpoles! We never would have done it without her. We can't wait to see it progress, she has so many great ideas. We are delighted to have found her!
Great service and price, Claire is very knowledgeable about what plants grow well in certain areas and how best to maintain them. She made my garden into a little bit of paradise.
