Excellent service. Barney and April worked all day weeding, pruning and turf laying as well as reinstating borders in very hot conditions. They did a fantastic job and cleared all trimmings and other rubbish leaving my garden looking absolutely great. I have no hesitation in very highly recommending them.

We hired Barney to cut down two of our trees/bushes. One of which had never been done in 9 years. I was impressed with Barney from the outset. Being able to communicate with him via WhattsApp - send photos - and then receive a quote was so beneficial. As a business owner I don't have time to make phone calls or send countless emails. On the day he did the work quickly and diligently. Cleared all debris and took away with him. My garden looks so much neater now!

Barney and April did a great job on our trees today. Barney took time to create very pleasing shapes whilst bringing them back under control. The garden was left very tidy indeed. The work listed in Barney's very detailed quotation was carried out exactly as we had hoped, to a very high standard - and all in continuous rain! Crown reduction and trimming left our tree beautifully shaped, with no loose cut branches remaining in the tree. Barney was punctual, polite and professional. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

We like our garden and cherish a wee bit of gardening but a year ago my husband got cancer and had two very big operations. I fell over and broke a bone in my back so the garden just got left for an entire year. We knew we couldn't work on the garden so contacted Barney Reece. He came, on time, for a quote which he delivered promptly. He couldn't undertake a restoration for a month which we accepted. He came on the allotted day on time.....what a difference to other companies we tried to get help from, and let us down. He worked tirelessly and carefully all day. I felt for him dealing with "bramble corner" and masses of creeping buttercup, couch grass and wild potentilla, bindwind etc. He carefully retained the honeysuckle and made a little tepee for it, wound roses back on the trellis, salvaged little beauties we thought we had lost, trimmed the wilderness by the shed, cut the grass, edged it beautifully and finally raked up every vestige of garden rubbish and put it in his van. To say we have been impressed would be a gross understatement. The garden looks immaculate now and gives us a palette to gently recolour again. What a heartlifting experience to have such a knowledgeable and professional chap (and his assistant) re-establish the garden for us. Tip top work Barney. I would highly recommend.
Barney and April did a fantastic job on our trees, working nonstop and clearing away so well that you wouldn’t have known they’d been (apart from the increase in sunlight on our garden). We’ve already asked them to come back to do some other work!

I needed an experienced gardener to prune climbing roses and shrubs beyond my reach. Barney Reece does this with skill and an expert eye. He also pruned fruit cordons replacing old stakes with new, and treated an ailing viburnum. His advice is always good. Easily contacted by email, he is polite, understanding and reliable.

We have used Barney several times to help manage wind-fallen trees in our garden as well as provide an assessment and advice on the management of other trees. He is incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. Ecologically minded, he has created some great habitat features using the remaining stumps.

The whole experience of using this company was a pleasure from start to finish. Firstly, great comms (which we hold in high regard), secondly, the quote was extremely competitive. Thirdly, we had a strict time availability of which the team were more than happy to meet (booked us in for a Saturday). The team arrived, on time, extremely polite and respectful of our property. They required minimal tea and coffee (declined more than were offered!). The team even agreed to take away extra garden waste at a little extra charge which was massively appreciated. All round…. Barney and his assistant made and excellent job of his annual trimming of our garden boundry hedges. We were vey pleased to with the prunning and shaping of a large Bay Tree. The garden was left tidy and all the trimmings taken away.
