Barney Reece Tree & Garden Management

Barney and co were wonderful. I can't believe how quickly they took down the tree, and cleaned up beautifully! Before and after pictures below!

We hired Barney to cut down two of our trees/bushes. One of which had never been done in 9 years. I was impressed with Barney from the outset. Being able to communicate with him via WhattsApp - send photos - and then receive a quote was so beneficial. As a business owner I don't have time to make phone calls or send countless emails. On the day he did the work quickly and diligently. Cleared all debris and took away with him. My garden looks so much neater now!

Very pleased with Barney and April's work in the garden. Professional and knowledgeable team who worked so hard to get the job done as requested. Will definitely have further work undertaken by them and would highly recommend to others. Thank you.

Barney and April did a great job on our trees today. Barney took time to create very pleasing shapes whilst bringing them back under control. The garden was left very tidy indeed. The whole process was easy from start to finish. I can strongly recommend this team and look forward to working with them again.

The work listed in Barney's very detailed quotation was carried out exactly as we had hoped, to a very high standard - and all in continuous rain! Crown reduction and trimming left our tree beautifully shaped, with no loose cut branches remaining in the tree. Barney was punctual, polite and professional. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

The company is so professional, friendly and first class. My garden looks amazing. Thankyou

We like our garden and cherish a wee bit of gardening but a year ago my husband got cancer and had two very big operations. I fell over and broke a bone in my back so the garden just got left for an entire year. We knew we couldn't work on the garden so contacted Barney Reece. He came, on time, for a quote which he delivered promptly. He couldn't undertake a restoration for a month which we accepted. He came on the allotted day on time.....what a difference to other companies we tried to get help from, and let us down. He worked tirelessly and carefully all day. I felt for him dealing with "bramble corner" and masses of creeping buttercup, couch grass and wild potentilla, bindwind etc. He carefully retained the honeysuckle and made a little tepee for it, wound roses back on the trellis, salvaged little beauties we thought we had lost, trimmed the wilderness by the shed, cut the grass, edged it beautifully and finally raked up every vestige of garden rubbish and put it in his van. To say we have been impressed would be a gross understatement. The garden looks immaculate now and gives us a palette to gently recolour again. What a heartlifting experience to have such a knowledgeable and professional chap (and his assistant) re-establish the garden for us. Tip top work Barney. I would highly recommend.

Barney and April did a fantastic job on our trees, working nonstop and clearing away so well that you wouldn’t have known they’d been (apart from the increase in sunlight on our garden). We’ve already asked them to come back to do some other work!

Got a recommendation from Facebook for Barney and so glad I did. The garden and trees look amazing! We are all thrilled and ready to enjoy it for the Summer! Thanks so much. Highly recommending!!!!

Fantastic service, very knowledgeable and also all cleared away afterwards. Can't speak highly enough of Barney and will definitely use him again.

When first meeting Barney, it becomes evident you're dealing with a very professional, capable young man. Barney and his team made short work of excessively overgrown ivy on the roof of our garage together with reducing the crown and trimming a number of conifers in our rear garden. If you're looking for a professional, competent man to address your garden maintenance and tree surgery, look no further than Barney Reece Very happy homeowner from Heybridge

I have been working with Barney to develop the garden for a couple of years now. He has been very supportive of my wish to grow the garden organically over time using plants that flourish naturally and help local wildlife, rather than taking everything out and starting again. He has an amazing knowledge of plants and works incredibly hard. I look forward to working with him in the future and would highly recommend him.

Thank you Barney for your excellent work. I was very impressed with your professionalism and knowledge of the plants in my garden. You have restored my shrubs and flower beds so I can look forward to new planting and enjoying the garden in the coming seasons.

I needed an experienced gardener to prune climbing roses and shrubs beyond my reach. Barney Reece does this with skill and an expert eye. He also pruned fruit cordons replacing old stakes with new, and treated an ailing viburnum. His advice is always good. Easily contacted by email, he is polite, understanding and reliable.

Barney did a great job pruning and shaping my tree,I would 100% recommend him to anybody looking for this type of work

We have used Barney several times to help manage wind-fallen trees in our garden as well as provide an assessment and advice on the management of other trees. He is incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. Ecologically minded, he has created some great habitat features using the remaining stumps.

Extremely happy with work carried out to a tall Eucalyptus tree. Very professional, efficient and timely service. The tree has never looked better!

First time we were using Barney’s services. It was really pleasing to note that he had all the traits we look for when contracting a business to undertake work on our behalf i.e. professional, friendly, helpful and completely efficient. Extremely happy with the final result.

Barney is professional, knowledgeable and incredibly hard working. He has completed numerous jobs for us in our garden and each time he leaves it spotlessly tidy.

Barney did exactly as requested. Keen eye for detail - Excellent!

The whole experience of using this company was a pleasure from start to finish. Firstly, great comms (which we hold in high regard), secondly, the quote was extremely competitive. Thirdly, we had a strict time availability of which the team were more than happy to meet (booked us in for a Saturday). The team arrived, on time, extremely polite and respectful of our property. They required minimal tea and coffee (declined more than were offered!). The team even agreed to take away extra garden waste at a little extra charge which was massively appreciated. All round…. A massive 5* from here .

Superb job done as always, would thoroughly recommend his work

Barney is very knowledgable, polite and efficient. Left a clean and tidy garden

Great service from Barney from start to finish. He was quick to arrange an initial visit, let me know when an earlier date became available and did a great job on the day.

Thanks to Barney for his highly professional approach to garden management. Spent half a day here yesterday and achieved a huge amount. He listens carefully to the customer in order to make well-informed judgements about the programme of work. He then sets about his tasks with energy and skill. The quality of the work is matched by his engaging social skills. He shares his knowledge which is considerable, and its a pleasure to talk gardening with him. The plants clearly like him too!

Barney did a fantastic job felling a small Oak tree and left the logs neatly stacked for me. He even cleared up some leaves for me leaving the whole area very tidy. I have used Barney on various projects before and the service is always very professional, and very good value.

Great service from Barney, communication was quick and he was happy to answer all my questions before and after the work was completed. Very happy with the work and everything was left very tidy.
