We have used Richfield flooring in two different houses and both times we have experienced excellent customer service along with brilliant results. Tony and his team arrived promptly at our latest property and ensured that the job of laying a new Amtico floor throughout the whole of our downstairs was completed to time and we are thrilled with the results. Dylan and Louis were so polite and their work was excellent. Callum who arranged our quotation was a pleasure to deal with and really helpful. We would 100% use Richfield flooting again and would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you guys! :)

Richfield Flooring were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and I often rate a company based on how they handle more challenging situations than simply meeting expectations on a standard delivery. We needed the job completed on a specific time frame and their was an issue with the carpet that could have led to a delay. We popped into the store on Saturday and Callum really listened to what we wanted - something kid proof, hard-wearing and not too expensive. From Saturday to today (less than a week!) - it's fitted, looks fantastic and is perfect for our needs.  The fitter was great and has done a fab job.

Absolutely outstanding experience with Richfield Flooring in Reading! I genuinely couldn’t be more pleased with the result. They fitted the flooring across my entire downstairs, from the living room to the kitchen, hallway, cupboard area and W/C and the finish is flawless! The attention to detail is on another level. Every edge, every join, every transition is done perfectly. You can tell real pride was taken in the work. Callum, the showroom manager, was brilliant from day one. Professional, honest, and an absolutely genuinely good guy to deal with. He happily came out with samples of the flooring I was considering, which made choosing so much easier. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me properly think through the whole project rather than just “selling” to me. Communication throughout was spot on, responsive, clear and reliable. The fitters - Tony, Dylan and James were absolutely fantastic.  From removing my old flooring to prepping the floors and using smoothing compound to the final installation, everything was done meticulously. Tony especially stood out as you can tell straight away he’s a master of his craft. The level of precision and care he puts into his work really showed in the final result. I had both Karndean and Amtico LVT fitted throughout and they look absolutely amazing and complement each other well. The quality speaks for itself. On top of that, the pricing was very fair for the standard of work delivered. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richfield Flooring to friends and family and I already have. I’m actually planning to use them again when we do the upstairs bathroom. Top quality service, top quality workmanship. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Cannot thank Callum enough. Our flooring was not delivered on a Friday evening when it was scheduled to arrive, by fault of the courier service. Knowing our fitter was lined up for 6am the next morning, Callum used his Friday night and drove to Solihul and personally delivered our floor back in Caversham at 11pm. We are so grateful for the incredible service.

Just had new laminate flooring laid throughout sitting room and hallway, plus a new vinyl kitchen floor, very pleased with results, Leon the fitter was 'on time everyday (3 days) a pleasure to have him in the property, really nice guy, excellent experience from initial contact to finished job.

Went with Richfield Flooring after their quote was the most reasonable compared to 3 other flooring companies. Their service and most importantly, the finished product is amazing. We ordered engineered wood for 2 rooms and Leon who fitted the flooring was absolutely outstanding. Top top workmanship. Would highly recommend this company for any flooring. After buying our home last year (which is a 1970’s property needing lots of work), we began exploring where best to buy our carpet from. We knew we wanted a stair runner on our stairs and the same carpet throughout the stairs, landing, hall and bedrooms. Taking our time, we visited lots of different carpet stores, got quotes etc and then had a recommendation from a neighbour for Richfield Flooring. From our first visit to their store, we were looked after and experienced the most outstanding customer service from beginning to end. Their professionalism and commitment to supporting us in being able to buy the carpet we really wanted was commendable. We were very happy with installation turnaround times and the overall quality of their work and are in love with our wool carpet and especially our stair runner which is a real feature when we walk through our front door to see. Amtico flooring installed by Louis Bamsey from Richfield flooring. Cooperative scheduling to go with delayed kitchen fit. Floor had to be levelled first after diy ceramic tile removal. Callum very helpful throughout and Louis did a superb job, conscientious, thorough, clean, tidy and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.

From start to finish Richfield Flooring remained nothing but professional, helpful and friendly. They have a great showroom with plenty of choice and all staff are so courteous. Even with a complication with my screed (by a different company) Callum always remained patient and committed to making sure the floor was prepped correctly ready for our new flooring. Louis fitted my Amtico LVT throughout hallway and kitchen/family area. He was always friendly, chatty and went above and beyond to help and make sure the job was completed on time. Fantastic service from start to finish. Had carpets fitted upstairs in the bedrooms and Amtico flooring for the whole of downstairs and two bathrooms. Great showroom to see the selections to choose from and then a fabulous team to have it professionally laid. Nothing was too much trouble. Richfield Flooring comes highly recommended.

We had Richfield flooring install Karndean flooring throughout our entrance hall, cloakroom and newly configured kitchen . From our original meeting in their showroom we found the staff to be courteous, helpful and very well versed in their product!We had been recommended by a relative and we immediately found their product range to be both comprehensive and keenly priced...although I had a specific product in mind ,I had already priced the range I needed online and found their pricing virtually identical , but of course had I have pursued that course, I would have needed to instruct my own fitter, so the in house option was greatly preferrable.Given these circumstances , we made the decision instantly , chose our floor covering , paid the initial deposit and we given a date for the fitting ...so easy! On the day of installation Louis , our fitter was prompt and very conversant in his product.He talked us through the installation , some dos and donts regarding the product , and pressed on with the installation of the preparatory latex levelling .I had removed the quarry tile flooring myself down to the concrete screed, the whole job being around 21 sq metres. By the afternoon , the base coat was down and we were able to walk on it, but as the surface needs to cure , Louis told us he would back in the morning to complete the job...even at this point we could tell the job would be great as the initial preparation had completely covered the base of the internal wall I had removed! The next day Louis was there at 830 , bright and breezy and within an hour we could see the final finish shaping up, his work was both excellent and detailed , he even plunge cut under the door architraves to give enable the product to be concealed rather than butted up. By early afternoon the job was finished , and we moved the appliances back the next morning. The whole fitting had been accomplished in two mornings , my wife was delighted, all the staff were pleasant and efficient ...we were particularly impressed with Louis' ability, his attention to detail and his pleasant manner turned what we anticipated to be a chore into a really pleasurable experience, and would definately recommend anyone else needing flooring to support this local venture! jim and margaret ( caversham )

Just before lockdown had every room in three bed house floored by these guys. Really happy with the wood effect, incredibly durable. Great advice and a range to suit all budgets. Couldn’t quite stretch to Amtico but ended up with a commercial grade floor that looks great. Really friendly showroom staff and their fitters are a really nice bunch too.

I am very pleased to be able to post a review for Richfield Carpets as they cannot be faulted! The service and support received was second to none! From the initial enquiry to some issues we had with the choice of carpet, Callum was on the ball and followed through with all he said he would do. Our daughter used this company a few years ago and her experience was spot on too - and her fitting wasn't straight forward. But Callum kept the remainder of the carpet until she was ready to finish off the fitting and didn't push her or charge extra. The quality and wear of the underlay is brill and our daughter's carpet looks as bouncy and good as the day it was laid - hence the reason we didn't even check out anyone else - we went for someone who was already tried and tested. Thank you Callum and team for your support and expertise! Very professional and very efficient! Can't recommend you enough!

Significantly cheaper than a rival flooring shop in my local area, the Richfield fellas did a great job on offering their knowledge and expertise as well as making short work of the actual laying of the flooring. I've got a gold floor (I chose it) and it is the envy of Earley. Go and speak to Callum. He'll tell you all about it - and help you too.

Excellent company! Very friendly and helpful. We were in their showroom for nearly 2 hours looking at all the different designs and not once felt we were in the way. Disappointed. Called up 4 times for a quote and despite being assured they would phone me back they never did. Rang carpets by rowan and rainbow carpets and they were able to come round and do me a quote the next day. Wouldn’t bother with Richfield again.
