Outstanding Service. We recently had new carpet installed in our lounge and hallway, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The installation team arrived right on time on fitting day and were exceptionally friendly and professional throughout. The quality of the work is outstanding, and the new carpet looks excellent. Highly recommended and we will definitely be using them again!

Great service from Kimbers Christchurch. Whole house renovation Kimbers also provided expert technical advice on floor preparation. Carpets fitted upstairs and Amtico First LVT downstairs. Received expert advice from Paul on the many options for our new master bedroom carpet, and with no pressure to buy and several swatches later we were able to ensure we were again happy with our final choice. This is the third order fitting with Kimbers, the staff are all very friendly and professional, all very straightforward, they accommodated us at relatively short notice and a special mention to the fitter, who went above and beyond, repairing a bar from a previous fitting that had been loosened through our bathroom fitting, thank you.
This is the first time we have used Kimbers for our carpets we had two bedrooms fitted by Ben and Gorgon. We are delighted with the results the fitters were so clean and efficient, and a special mention for Paul in the showroom who was so helpful well done all. We will use them again in the future.
An excellent company - who have fitted all our carpets over the years Andy came out to measure up and provided a very quick and very reasonable quote. Paul ordered the carpet giving a time line fore carpet delivery and fitting- the whole transaction was completed in 10 days - from our initial visit to the showroom to carpet fitting . The 2 carpet fitters were equally excellent - a credit to the company Thank you Kimbers for another job very well done !
Kimbers provided a good quality wool carpet at an excellent price.The fitters laid the carpet without causing damage to the paintwork and were curteous and efficient. All in all I am very happy and will use Kimbers for my next carpet job. The cost of disposal of the old carpet and underlay was high but not unreasonable so I did that myself - it was good that I could opt for that rather than have the disposal included in the fitting price

Excellent service from choosing the carpet, to the installation. The fitters did an excellent job. The old carpet and underlay were taken away.
These guys are absolute experts in their field! From the very start, they gave us great advice and guidance, along with helpful samples to make the decision easier. The team laid a floor that has completely transformed our home. We went with the Amtico “Fawn Oak” in a herringbone pattern, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the result (it still feels hard to believe this is our house!). Special thank you to Lee who done a smashing job putting all the hard work into laying such small tiles with such precision, his works been fantastic!

Kimbers have been excellent in carpeting our new flat. They assisted in choosing the carpet, worked with us and fitted rooms when we wanted them, delaying laying carpet in other rooms whilst I moved boxes and even shifting furniture between rooms. Their flexibility with us was excellent along with the cost being competitive with others. They have provided an excellent service and can highly recommend them.

Last Tuesday we popped in but within minutes we left the shop. The salesman behind the desk couldn't even acknowledge our presence. Every question we asked, he couldn't even be bothered to take his eyes off his laptop. I am sure he thought we were some time wasters. We ended up going to the New Milton branch where the customer service was unbelievable. Nick was professional, courteous and very helpful.

I a few months ago I decided to spruce up my apartment where I had lived since 2017. The obvious starting point was the carpets. Standard apartment carpets had been fitted and to be fair they had not worn well. So I decided to contact Kimbers in Christchurch. I must say the whole process was so easy and efficient. I simply walked in, chose 3 books I liked the look of, having seen a carpet I thought I would probably go for. They then sent someone to come and measure up, a quote prepared next day, approved and then a date set in diary. The carpets were fitted on the 6th March and I am beyond happy. They look amazing - even when I had a glitch with the wardrobe that had been moved, they happily sent someone courtesy of the firm to fix the problem. I could not be happier - thank you
Posting on behalf of my mother Kay- I had my flooring done by Kimbers just before Christmas. I was so happy with their professional service from start to finish. The gentleman who I dealt with was Andy, he was great, he took time when showing me samples and explained things to me which was a big help when choosing products, as I have no clue about flooring. I didn’t have to wait long for it to be done and when it was it was done, it was done to perfection and so efficiently. The gentleman Dan who fitted it knew exactly what he was doing and he was very experienced. I am so happy with the finished product, it has completely transformed my lounge/dining room. All my family and friends are very envious now! I would highly recommend Kimbers to anyone.

The guy answering phones was great and really helpful I must say and showed much more knowledge and common sense than sales person so this review is not aimed at him. The salesman was rude,arrogant , patronising and to be honest would put me off recommending or using this company again. In a time where we really should be supporting local businesses I'm embarrassed to admit this but from the experience I endured I really am disgusted by the way we were dealt with and I also heard another potential customer saying similar in the car park. So I'm afraid I shan't be using kimbers again.
Beware.... The carpets for some areas were good experience. Then I paid for other area when I could afford but it took ages to give an appointment to fit. Meanwhile I sorted it with liner by myself to make it safe for my family. Now I am struggling to get my refund. They are ignoring my calls, avoiding my calls, I need my money back. Fancy being told that they are out, even on measurements during lockdown!!!! I have to start preparing for Christmas and I hope this review will stop their hiding and give back my money. Future customers beware of refund! When I get my refund, I will update this.
Awful experience. Rude, ignorent, patronising salesman, who couldn't be bothered to acknowledge our presence but spent all his time, sitting behind a desk, completely engrossed in his laptop. He was arrogant and disrespectful and obviously thought we were time wasters. He was so wrong. We are both in our eighties and have since placed a very large order, worth over £4,000 with another company. We will certainly never return to Kimbers and will not be recommending them to anybody. This was some of the worst customer service that we have ever experienced
We have used Kimbers for all our flooring as they are simply the best! Great selection to choose from, the fitters do an absolutely brilliant job and we would definitely recommend them. Our most recent purchase was a lounge carpet and we were delighted. Not a single mark on the new paintwork, all the oddments were taken away and they hoovered it all beautifully so it was ready for furniture when they left. We've had Karndean from them too and we were just as happy with that.

Big choice of carpet ends in large area at the back of the shop. I chose one that was 4m x 2.25m on Friday afternoon at 3.30 pm. I asked if it could be cut down from 4m to 2.70m to make it easier for myself to fit in a small room at home. I was told to come back the next morning at 10.30 am when this would have been done and ready for me to collect.I arrived at 11am and the salesman was about to leave the shop and gave a colleague my receipt where it was clearly written to cut down to size. The salesman picked the carpet up off the floor and carried it to my car. I soon realised that the carpet had not been cut when I unrolled it in the small room. When I called the shop , I initially got a 'oh sorry' . When I said that he did not sound sorry, he suggested that I bring it back to the shop. This would have been very difficult for me, a female OAP, on my own. No explanation as to why it had not been cut or why the salesman had not told his colleague that it needed to be cut and why the colleague did not even look at the receipt. So my experience is of poor service after payment had been made and what should have been a simple job was made difficult because of this.
I found Kimbers on check a trade and they had great reviews so thought I’d give them a try. We had carpets and amtico throughout the house. The salesman were friendly and guided me through the experience from start to finish. The fitter was great, we are so pleased. I will be using them again.
Phoned this company to ask if they sold carpet offcuts. I even gave measurements of piece I wanted. They informed me they did offcuts so I travelled to the business. When I went in there I was told in a frank and basic manner where the offcuts were in the back part of shop. I waited for 10 minutes before I approached the member of staff he then said they only sold huge rolled up remnants, in my opinion they were the size of quite large rugs. The staff were abropt, ignorant and wasted my time. Go somewhere else if I were you. Thanks

The whole experience I received from Kimbers was excellent from start to finsh. The salesman at their Christchurch branch were very experienced and gave me good advice on what would best suit my needs, they were also competitive on price which made me use them. I had the whole of my flat carpeted, the fitters did a great job and left the place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend and would definitely use in the future.
From Pete coming round and measuring, to choosing the flooring & then Phil fitting the whole process has been brilliant. The service we've experienced has been second to none and would recommend them to anyone. The quality of the workmanship and tidiness was perfect and we absolutely love our new Karndean flooring. Great experience and will definitely use them again!
Kimbers completed our kitchen floor today. We chose the Polyflor colonia Welsh slate tiles with silver feature strips. I'm so pleased with the outcome! This is the second floor we have had done by Kimbers and the quality is exceptional. Great customer service; from the manager who came to measure up, to the fitters who took so much care in their work, they really went out their way to fit in with my busy schedule. Can't recommend these guys enough, a classy floor and a classy company!
Independent carpet and flooring suppliers in Christchurch. They have always been readonably priced, had what I wanted available and fitted it promptly.
We recently had new flooring throughout the house , Karndean & carpet. We found that everyone at Kimbers was friendly and professional and the work completed on time. No hesitation in recommending them as we have already done.
Have used Kimber's twice and very happy both times. Much better and more personal service than other carpet companies and priced very competitively. The installation team cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend.

Experienced awful customer service from the Christchurch branch (Somerford). Whilst the carpet fitter was fine, the salesmen in the showroom were unprofessional, rude, arrogant and condescending. Treated me like it they were doing me a favour by taking my order (and money!). Will not be using this branch again. It amazes me that businesses can still survive having front of staff with this attitude.
