My entire experience with The Electric Gate Co was seamless from start to finish. From the initial quote through to the final installation, the team demonstrated total professionalism. They were knowledgeable, quick to communicate, and provided great customer service. The gates are great quality, brilliantly designed, and flawless in operation. Compared to other companies we contacted, they were the best we found for the price and design. They look fantastic, and we’ve already received several compliments from neighbours. I highly recommend Ollie and the team to anyone looking for electric gates.
Just wanted to say how super impressed I was with the outstanding customer service, professionalism & quality of product that I received from The Electric Gate Company. I initially spoke to Dan from the sales side of the business & after only a few minutes talking to him, he installed confidence in me with his knowledge of the process to having electric gates fitted for the very first time. Dan attended the first site visit shortly after making the appointment by telephone. He was extremely friendly & very easy to talk to & there was never any pushy sales tactics. Once we had chosen the style of gates & entry system that we liked, we received our quote very quickly. After agreeing the price, we then had a visit from Ollie who carried out a site survey & took all the measurements required to order our new gates. Ollie was extremely knowledgeable, also very friendly & answered all my questions in a very professional manner. On the day of our first fix, both Ollie & Dan were on site to help the two engineers install the gate posts & motor boxes etc. This process was carried out in a very professional manner & also involved more work & excavation than I first thought. The site was left extremely clean & tidy with all the rubbish taken away. Several weeks later I received an email, which was also followed up with a phone call to arrange a date for the fitting of our new gates which had to be made to measure. It took approximately 1.5 days for the installation of all the electrical wiring, motor’s & gates. The engineers were extremely pleasant & also very courteous throughout the whole installation process. They also spent approximately half an hour at the end of the install explaining exactly how the gates worked & answered all my questions. We are so happy with our new gates and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Electric Gate Company.

The gates themselves are a genuinely premium product at a reasonable price when compared with other options on the market. Sam came out to see me last week to give my Electric gates a yearly service and also fit a battery back up as of late we seem be getting more and more power cuts . My gates are now working as good as the day they were installed ,with the added bonus of not having to worry about if we get anymore power cuts! Big shout out to Ollie , Daniel & Sam you are all an absolute pleasure to deal with.. Recently had our electric gates supplied by The Electric Gate Company - Communication, design, delivery & fitting have all been excellent. We have a very wide gateway so had to have ours made bespoke. We are very happy with the finish and look, & they have exceed our expectations. Ollie was very professional & helpful, visiting site initially & helping us choose the right design for our property & communicating well throughout the process. We initially contacted 3 companies for a quote, the other two companies were not in the same league when it came to getting a designed quotation. 5 Stars from us! This is my second experience with the great team at The Electric Gate Company and yet again, a seamless and painless experience. Having three Grade 2 * listed properties I had to select bespoke designs and the gates are classically elegant, expertly fabricated, expertly powder coated and fully compliant in terms of health and safety. Having two sets of gates and also a pedestrian/ trade gate with special requirements the programming was professionally managed and to my complete amazement easy to operate from my phone. In this day and age of rampant fraud their payment terms are realistic and I completely trusted them throughout the entire process. This company has been absolutely amazing from start to finish ! I’m so pleased I found this company on the internet because all other gate companies within a 100 mile radius just didn’t want my business !! I would firstly like to thank Dawn who takes enquiries and is very knowledgeable not like the idiots you deal with most of the time who are only interested in there false nails & sausage lips. Dan the sales manager was very experienced in this field answering all my emails in a quick timely manner & advising me what would be the best way to have these gates manufactured and installed. Ollie the chief engineer was superb met me at my address at the time agreed checked a few measurements advised on the best location for the electrical box to be installed & manufactured my gates what a talent. Then the installation took place exactly at the date given, 2 x engineers Galvin & Colin arrived on Tuesday morning all finished by Friday Afternoon went through the installation showed me how the codes and fobs worked all rubbish cleared hosed down swept up 2 real nice guys !! I can’t speak highly enough about this company don’t waste your time with any one else get this company in you won’t be disappointed !! EGC took over the maintenance of my gates after years of frustration with the initial company. They are efficient, will come out as quick as they are able to. They are courteous and very professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

We recently had a pair of Horizal aluminium gate installed by the electric gate company. We looked at a few designs with Dan who was very helpful and eventually settled on a pair of the aluminium Horizon gates. They said there would be a long wait for these but they actually came early and fitting was offered within the week! The installation team arrived on site at the time they said they would and it swiftly became apparent that they had fantastic attention to detail, they actually went the extra mile and a lot more to get the fit right and were so helpful and lovely, it was great to have them. The finished result exceeds my expectations and makes the whole house feel more secure but also enhanced aesthetically by the gates. I can't recommend the team here enough.
From the start Dan was very helpful with my constant questioning. I wanted a video intercom that supported IP/RTSP which was something EGC do not provide, however Dan put me in touch with a contact who was able to help. Consequently we have a very good looking set of Horizal gates that have already had numerous positive comments from neighbours who cannot believe they are aluminium (as they look like wood). Galvin was super great during the install and provided a very thorough handover. Very pleased.

Gates, tricky things gates, without a doubt they can be extremely complicated. Ours are especially so. Awkward entrance and high expectations but EGC overcame delivered and earned my respect. I needed all the “ bells and whistles” and I wanted monstrously big buggers that said “ go away and leave me alone “ To be fair I don’t think many gate companies would have understood what was required and then delivered but EGC did. Everyone I had cause to speak or deal with, were personable and eager to please. It wasn’t any easy process and it was a testament to their professionalism that they dug deep to reward my patience with enthusiastic attentive service. Would I recommend them? Undoubtedly. Would I use them again? Maybe but the next set of gates I anticipate being involved with will probably be operated by St Peter and a host of Angels as I hope these will last a lifetime.
The electric gates supplied and fitted have exceeded my expectations. The fitters were reliable, very conscientious, efficient and hard working. The overall process was overseen by Dan who liaised and managed the operation in a friendly and supportive manner.. it was his relaxed and no pressure attitude that gave me the confidence to chose The Electric Gate company over their competitors. We have large electric gates that had been out of action for many months and when I searched for a new contractor, The Electric Gate Company was recommended to me. After a very positive first visit, we were given a very reasonable quote. The guys who attended site to complete the work were polite, helpful and did a fantastic job. They explained the system thoroughly and discussed the maintenance service levels offered as aftercare. A great company we will definitely be using again for further projects

TERRIBLE COMPANY _ AVOID!!!!! When they come and quote your work and lovely gates provided however , when you go back and ask them to come and look at a problem different response completely our secure electric gates our not closing hence not secure and worried about our dog s getting out we called last Monday and asked for someone to come and look at spoke to a lovely lady called Nicky, who said they were busy but she would ask Richard Hooper the owner who only lives 5 minutes away to come and have a look for us, as we had heard nothing back i chased them on Thursday i spoke to tom the son who explained they were very busy and have Colin one of there engineers on long term sick , i explained that this was very urgent and total understand the situation but would appreciate a call back and someone coming to have a look and eliminate the problem and book us in at the first possible date if an issue needs to be sorted, he explained he on sells not technical, he then said Nicky was on the phone to Richard and said he s too busy to come out , i said i would call Richard myself which i did on his mobile, he was very rude said he didn't need the work or hassle and put the phone down on me, great after service......... do not use this company lovely to you when they want the work the big money for the gates however when theres a problem the after service doesn't exist they dont want to know too busy taking on new projects of new gates ........ appalling.
