Very good quality wood comparing to other stores, perfect customer service, highly recommend
Working in the trade I am constantly working with suppliers organising and spinning plates for coming jobs, team at AVS Basingstoke are a credit to the company. Helpful, informative and accommodating The products fantastic too, Couldn’t recommend enough, I will be in touch again come the new year for spring/ summer projects.
I did a large garden project with new patio, cedar privacy fencing and raised beds. I found all of the staff exceptionally helpful and when I emailed them out of hours, they would respond within minutes of opening the next day. I would definitely recommend them
Today whilst riding my horse along Baughurst Road I was passed by a AVS fencing lorry. This driver passed me Wide and slow at 10mph, clearly aware of the change in the Highway Code in 2022. A huge thank you to this driver. Please pass on my thanks

Terrible service. Ordered and paid online. Went to collect - out of stock. No idea when they will be back in stock. Four emails asking for a stock date or refund - no response. Phone call answered, but unable to help. Promised return phone call not materialised. Bunch of scam merchants. Avoid.
Brilliant fence panels! Same price as Wickes etc, but far, far better quality and construction. Sturdy built and heavier these were delivered and placed where they were wanted. Great product and,.great service.👍
Can't follow simple instructions ie call 30 mins before no customer service what so ever wouldn't use them
Shocking service you pay then have to take a ticket to yard person to load, you give them the ticket and they watch you load not a sniff to help you load up just watch customer service what customer service hope you go bust

Very poor communications and still yet to receive purchased item. I ordered some feather edge cladding which took many weeks to arrive. No communication with updates and had to phone up for them. Wasn't overly bothered due to covid as I could appreciate busy times. Randomly received a phone call one day saying it will be with you in 5 minutes. Luckily my wife was in so wasn't to much of an issue. The delivery driver mentioned that one length was missing and will be dropped off in a few days later. I phoned to discuss and in fact expected in a few weeks as awaiting delivery from supplier. I needed more lengths so placed an additional order which will include the missing length as promised from AVS. Surprise surprise no additional length included when delivered. I have sent FB messages and emailed but never a response. Original order was placed on the 8th May. I have a small gap in cladding which is very frustrating. The cladding quality and price paid is good. Just let down by the service I have recieved
After accepting the order for a shed and purchasing via the web site paying in full. AVS rang to say the shed was another £300. After listening to excuses as to why it was incorrect on the website I did proceed with the order. Delivery dates were 6 - 8 weeks. 12 weeks later I received the shed, less 2 rolls of felt, less the wood trim to fit felt, one broken glazing panel and no bead to hold the glass in place which apparently does not come with shed. I have been reimbursed £71 for the felt I had to buy but had to opt for a different colour. I am still waiting for all the other parts. AVS apparently do not make the sheds which their advertising suggests, they buy them in from a third party so I would suggest you go direct to the third party. Lady on the other end of email is trying to be helpful but has to pass to manager and that's where it stops. Have fun, hope your experience is better than mine.
Excellent service provided. When most of the country had shut down, AVS kept going and enabled us to finish our project. Genuinely can't thank them enough. Their customer service is absolutely top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.
Just had all of our close board fencing delivered. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The materials are a much better quality and price than the DIY retailers around. Highly recommended.
Great for kiln dried hardwood logs for the fire, nice high quality wood which burns hot.
